When they first opened I visited 2 times and both were kinda a mess! waiting like 20 min plus for our food, I thought even tho I like burgers it's too long to wait, not convenient. I'm not sure what changed but I tried again a few months later and totally different! The employees were noticeably happier and so much faster! She even talked me into getting the app, ( hey free burger for every Jags win!) I mean great customer service! So now I stop in every so often, there's always some deal in the app, food comes out in a timely manner and the people are nice! And most importantly the burgers taste great and are huge! read more

We go to Whataburger on various occasions. To be honest the locations we've visited in different places have been very disappointing to point I've even had to contact corp office about one of them (manager heavily disciplined the cashier in front of all of us for 5 minutes to point the cashier walked away).... My wife and I always believe in second chances. We have never visited this location in Oakleaf area off Old Milddleburg Rd so we decided to give it a try tonight. The drive through service area went reasonably fast and no issues. Everyone was very friendly. We ordered two Whataburger hamburgers and they were very reasonable priced and were very big! Couldn't wait to get home! When we got home we did get everything we ordered. The burgers were just ok in our opinion. * For me I tasted more of the condiments and bread and less of the meat itself because the meat patty was thin. Just a thought; maybe they can have a thicker patty, smaller bun size and less condiments that equals the same weight as the current burger they have now. "The Lords of Dogtown" I often stop by this whataburger on a late night after work and the food is always great. I usually order the number two double whataburger with cheese and onion rings on the side. That's what I ordered yesterday on the way to a meeting, but also wanted to try the limited time banana shake. Shortly after I ordered a customer came in with a dog, which I assume was a service dog. I do not wish to shame those with disabilities or mental disorder so initially I thought nothing of it. However, the customer walked up to the cashier and picked up her service dog, which immediately was odd especially for a disabled person. To my shock, the cashier proceeded to walk around the counter, and pick up the alleged service dog herself. While this is quite concerning , I decided to walk up to counter myself so she wouldn't be responsible for handling my food. I was terribly wrong... The cashier walked to the back and within 30-45 seconds returned with my tray of food. I was mortified. I made a statement that she shouldn't handle a dog and then handle food. She proceeded to inform me that she knew the customer with the dog and it was a service dog. I may be mistaken but a service dog should be working on helping their disabled handler, not being fluffed up by food handlers in a restaurant. Because I was in a hurry for a meeting, I didn't have time to return my food so I inspected the tray, there were no dog hairs on it and sat I down to eat. Halfway through my meal, the owner operator came up and asked how everything was. I let her know the food was fine but was turned off from the cashier handling a dog and then my food a minute later. She claimed that their "store policy" is to treat pets like humans and they have passed every health inspection. I assume there was no dog handling going on during those health inspections, and do not recommended visiting The Lords of Dogtown. read more

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. The employee/ employees I interacted with the during my visit today 3/06 (7:25 pm) were in awfully bad moods. I was visiting from out of town and figured I would stop by for a familiar meal at Wataburger. I decided to use the drive thru in which I deeply regret now. The employee was speaking in whisper when I first arrived, and upon saying "I'm so sorry, I couldn't quite hear you. What were you saying?" I got a snappy almost yelling lady asking "IS THERE A NAME FOR YOUR ORDER?" I responded with my name and proceeded to order while barely being able to hear the employee. I was speaking fairly loud to ensure the employee could hear me after she had asked me to repeat a couple of my phases in the first few seconds of the interaction. I then pulled up to the second window for payment. I was met with a purple haired employee who first took my debit card out of my view without first letting me know. She disappeared for a couple of minutes amongst the back of house employees and even was gone for long enough for another employee to ask what was going on. Upon returning my card the purple haired teenager snarked "Here's your card back, nobody took it." We then sat at the window being asking twice what our order was before they asked us to pull forward. I have now been sitting out front for over 15 minutes writing this review and still have no food. The purple haired girl and the man working the window have both brought out multiple orders and the entire line of people behind me are brand new. The girl with the purple haired just came out around two minutes ago to ask if our order had "Bites" we ordered four burgers with fries, so no. Upon wandering around some more it seems the employees may have given away my order. I walked inside to ask what was going on and that was when I saw my full order sitting at the drive thru waiting to go out. The employees only explanation "We were too busy." No apology, not even an offer to check my meal despite the entire bag being mislabeled with different sandwich tags. I asked them to check them over with me before leaving to ensure I would not have to keep interacting with these buffoons. This is genuinely the worst experience I have ever had at Wataburger. I have always enjoying eating at this chain, but this interaction makes me wonder if the whole companies customer service has gone out the window, unlike my food. There seemed to be one employee inside who cared about there quality of service and job and the two working window seemed to just be looking to fight. I sincerely hope that the manager of this location takes this interaction into account when reviewing your employees. Greeted immediately with a smile. I was using a coupon for a free burger and the gentleman helped me find the code on my phone to make ordering easier. My burger was fresh and tasted great. The place was clean, and someone was checking all areas to make sure nothing needed to be done. The cashier didn't have any customers, so he was going around asking people if they needed anything. I've been a fan of WhataBurger since I was little (and that's been a while!) So I was very happy when they moved into the neighborhood. Absolutely love their breakfast taquitos (available 11pm to 11am)! The original WhataBurger made me like mustard on my burgers - they're so big! The iced tea tastes like Lousianne - slow brewed and sweet. Their cinnamon rolls aren't quite Cinnabon, but they're a third the cost & very good. Tonight, the BLT caught my eye and did not disappoint! 2 layers of thick cut bacon, a light layer of Mayo, lettuce & tomato between 2 slices of Texas toast - I'm coming back for more!! Came in for late evening bite with my oldest. OH, Whataburger's late-night menu hits the spot! ;) The spot was spick and span - just mopped, too! However, the napkin dispenser seemed to play hid-and-seek or felt like it had to be like sasquatch; we were unsuccessful hunting to locate it. But no worries, a quick request got us the napkins we needed when they brought us our food. Whataburger is a great spot for breakfast food and they always have very good customer service. Breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun and that's really only reason to go there. I went the for late afternoon lunch and remembered why I stopped eating lunch. My fries looked uncooked or they had been sitting out for a while, they were soggy and not crispy. I live about 6 mins away and when I got home my burger was kind of cold and the bacon didn't look fully cooked, this has been like a reoccurring thing when getting burgers from here. Every time is different but I don't think I want to keep trying with inconsistent quality during lunch/dinner time. This review is based of ordering to go. I have never dined in, so the experience could be different but some spots do not travel well. read more

This is the best Whataburger in terms of service and food. You will have to wait awhile for your food, so in terms of "fast food," it's a miss. However, I happily wait because of the fantastic customer service and delicious meals. No matter how busy they are, the employees are kind and seem like they genuinely care and enjoy their jobs (which is so rare now!). The food is always piping hot and never feels like they made it ahead of time (no soggy fries or lukewarm chicken tenders from them!) and are just throwing it in the bag to get rid of it. So, if you want great food and amazing service this location is for you! Just don't go there if you're in a hurry. read more

OPEN 24 HOURS BECAUSE IT TAKES THEM THAT LONG TO GET YOU YOUR ORDER. i ordered a whataburger meal with onions, lettuce cheese and tomato on texas toast and received a plain whataburger meal without any toppings that come standard let alone the ones asked for. also ordered a honey chicken biscuit that was burnt. both the chicken and the biscuit. as well as cold nasty tasting fries that felt like they sat for hours all while waiting in the drive through line for over 45 minutes. i'm extremely disappointed with this location and this staff. they are rude, slow, and don't even attend to their lines in the lobby let alone drive through. i came in 3-4 days ago and only was getting a malt. there were 7 people ahead of me and 4 behind me. i understand things get busy, but you have 7 employees standing around doing absolutely nothing while people are waiting. there is no reason as to why you cannot attend to your customers waiting inside or in drive through. i get everything is made to order but if you can't speed the hell up considering it's FAST food then get the hell out of the kitchen. i should have to wait 30+ minutes ON A MALT. Other than the ketchup being nasty everything else is very good. They must use the cheapest ketchup they can buy which is odd as everything else seems to be great quantity. The girl that runs the register looks very angry and speaks so softly you will have to ask her to repeat when she speaks.
