Life-Changing Experience! I cannot say enough amazing things…read moreabout HOTWORX-La Verne. Joining this gym has genuinely changed my life. I was looking for something to boost my confidence and fitness, and I found it here. The infrared sauna workouts are incredible--intense, fast, and I leave feeling so empowered every time. BUT! I have to give a huge shoutout to Stella and her amazing staff at HOTWORX! From the moment I walked in, they've been more than just employees. They are my biggest cheerleaders. They actually take the time to know your name and greet you every single day. Whether I have a question about a session or just need a little motivation, they are always helpful, friendly, and genuinely kind. It's rare to find a team that makes you feel so seen and supported. Also the entire studio is spotlessly clean and has such a positive, inviting vibe. If you are on the fence, just do it! It has given me so much confidence in myself. 10/10!"

Every workout leaves me feeling clear, energized, and lighter. Stress does not stand a chance in that infrared heat. The studio is impeccably clean. Truly one of the cleanest fitness spaces I've ever been in. The staff is warm, knowledgeable, and professional. Stella, Emily, Miranda, and Brianna know their clients by name and genuinely care. You can feel it the moment you walk in. This place has quickly become part of my routine, and honestly, one of my favorite parts of the week. Highly recommend.

I've been wanting to write this review because I think I speak for many of Laura's long-time…read morestudents. I started attending Bikram Yoga back when Vern owned the studio--may he rest in peace. I came back in February 2026 and feel better and have lost 18 pounds! :) I recently read a negative review criticizing Laura for occasionally going off-topic during class and talking about real-life issues. My response is this: let's not be so quick to judge. None of us are perfect, and we're all real people dealing with real emotions and life experiences. When Laura says things like "monkey see, monkey do," I know exactly what she means. Many of us will see someone sit down or lie down during class and think, "Maybe I'll take a break too." I know I have. She's simply encouraging us to push through mental barriers and stay focused on our practice. What many people don't see is the amount of time and energy Laura invests in her students, especially new ones. I regularly see her stay after class to help students improve their poses, answer questions, and encourage them to reach their full potential. She is passionate about helping people succeed, not just in yoga but in life. What stands out to me most is how she connects with people on an emotional level. Many students come to her studio as a last resort after living with chronic pain, physical limitations, or frustration from not finding relief elsewhere. Laura genuinely cares about those people. She listens, encourages, and helps them believe that improvement is possible. That kind of dedication is rare. For me, Bikram Yoga has been incredibly healing, both physically and mentally. A lot of it is mindset, "you take what helps you, learn from it, and build on it". Don't let a few words that may have been taken out of context define Laura or her business. Life is what you make it, and I choose to view every class as a stepping stone toward a healthier, longer life. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I believe it's important to be kind and fair when sharing it. That's just my two cents. Laura has helped many people over the years, and I am grateful to be one of them.

I am sorry but I had an unexpected experience here. It was my 2nd Bikram Yoga class and Laura was…read morethe instructor. My first session with the other instructor went well. While Laura was instructing, I felt like she was talking about many unnecessary topics like how yoga is not their only profession and how it doesn't really pay well. I don't know how it's relevant to us? She also told a fellow student that I was copying her yoga moves and mentioned "monkey sees, monkey does" something like that. While I wasn't really copying anyone. She also mentioned that I was anxious during the session while I wasn't really anxious. I was just trying to put efforts. I don't understand how can someone "encourage " a student like that during their initial sessions. What's the issue even if someone is looking anxious? Yoga should be a pleasant experience for newcomers and not feel like walking on a tight rope. I thought it was just me but I found other 1 star reviews here concerning her on similar issues. I don't feel comfortable going back even though I paid for an entire month. Sorry but please treat your new students with extra care and encouragement. Good luck!

I have been saving Barre Element for this milestone review since they have…read morebeen my latest love as the fitness industry is allowed to slowly reopen with strong restrictions. My heart aches for the fitness industry as I began my early career for a fitness company's corporate office for 5 and a half years. Many of my former coworkers and close friends experienced hardships due to the pandemic. On top of that, my former go-to Barre studio in Irvine, Cardio Barre/Ever Barre did not survive the economic downfalls of the pandemic... Thankfully I was able to find Barre Element through the Mind Body app, and I absolutely love it!! Prior to signing up, I called the business to make sure they were for-reals ready to open. Liz answered my call and she was extremely sweet and professional. She informed me of all of the safety precautions and what I needed to bring to the class. After my conversation with Liz, I was so reassured and positive about the studio that I committed to the Intro 1st Month Unlimited ($99). Covid Safety - Everyone takes their temperature at the door. Clearly marked 6 ft distance in the studio. Limit capacity to 8 students. Extra efforts into sanitizing, air filter and uv light disinfecting. Covid liability waiver. Virtual classes also available on Zoom if you are not personally comfortable with going back to the studios yet. For any first timers, you will need grip socks. Available for purchase if you do not already have your own pair. Definitely bring water!! Mats are available, but I like to bring my own. Be ready to experience soreness after your work out!! There is a board on the far end of the studio indicating which fitness props you need for the day, such as weights, resistance bands, weight ball, etc. Don't be late!! And let your instructor know if you have any injuries/issues prior to class. I have been to so many classes and I love all of the instructors and the other ladies who take class. Everyone is absolutely lovely and we all send out positive vibes, encourage and love to each other. Shout out to my Barre BFF Fran!!! We met in barre class quite recently but if you see us interacting, you would think we have been BFFs for everrrsssss. Here are a few of the classes and instructors I have encountered. In chronological order to be fair :) Barre with Ci'Monique - My first first first class here and first real work out after months of being lockdown in the pandemic was with Ci'Monique! I love her energy. This class is designed to help tone and lengthen lean muscles. The combination of movements help strength your core with added elements of cardio and sculpting exercises. Her energy and music selection really helps keep me motivated and pushing to do my best. Classic Barre with Mary - Less cardio and more traditional dance movements. This class aims to lean and lengthen. Mary is super sweet, but her work outs will still kick your butt! Barre Intensity with Christina - I loooove Christinaaaa!! Her classes are tough, but she always reminds you to listen to your body and provide alternatives for more or less intensity. This class combines pilates, dance and functional fitness. It is a full body work out and you definitely leave feeling mentally and physically stronger. Barre Intensity with Vanessa - Similar style as class mentioned above. When I got to Vanessa's classes I can expect a good toning work out because she is preparing for her wedding and I am preparing for my friend's wedding so I really appreciate the arm leaning movements despite how much I melt in class. She sticks it out with us the entire time to reach her own goals. Yoga Sculpt/Yoga Sculpt EXTREME with Celia - I love Celia so much but her work out definitely made my fat cry. I sign up for classes based on my personal schedule and availability so I didn't read when I signed up for. When I came to the Yoga Sculpt I already died, and apparently I signed up for the EXTREME version the following day. This class is a combination of Barre and PiYo, so there is a lot of isometric exercises with added vinyasa flow. It may seem like simple movements, but your body will definitely feel the burn. In addition to loving all the classes, the instructors and fellow barre ladies, Element Barre has an amazing merchandise section. I have purchased cute cute shirts that Liz has designed, a decent amount of grip socks and even cute fashionable hot pink weights that I use outside of class too. I just love everything about this place. I am so grateful to have discovered this hidden gem to help me pursue my personal goals and just be the best version of myself I can be. I always catch feelings for physically super fit guys, so I better stay in somewhat decent shape to keep up :)

Brenda, who is one of the owners and teaches as well is a gem!!! Brenda has taught me so much about my body and just breathing really. She constantly reminds me of my body mechanics, which is so important with Pilates. I have corrected so much of my posture thru out my daily living because of Brenda. Brenda pays attention to each individual in class and teaches the class with all of us in mind for that hour. Brenda has changed my life and I am in love with her and the studio. The studio is clean, very calming , and has a very happy vibe about it. There are five reformers , so it's an intimate class, which I like. They also have two Cadillac tables that are so amazing if you ever really want to see some unique stretching techniques. Brenda was a professional ballet dancer and has a degree in kinesiology. So she actually names the muscles as she instructing us. I love that!!!! I just love this place and the fact that it changed my life when I needed it so desperately......... THANK YOU STUDIO 66!!!!!
