Liver and onion dinner with onion rings and mashed potatoes with gravy.
    Lisa B.

I was looking for a place that served liver because my friend is trying to get his anemia under control. I have always passed by these Harry's Cafes and thought they look like a restaurant out of Mayberry. My friend had liver and onions. The dinner comes with soup AND salad and a toasted hamburger bun. You also get fries or baked potato or mashed potatos with gravy. The amount of food was very good for what you get these days. I had a chili size. They give you a split toasted hamburger bun with a patty on each one. The beauty of the dish was they spread refried beans on the bun. I like a good chili size and I have never had one this creative. The chili was delicious and they asked if I wanted cheese and onions which of course I did. Usually I eat about half my food but honestly, I ate the whole thing except for maybe one bite. My friend liked all of the food and he took home the hamburger bun with a big hunk of liver for later. I had the cucumber Agua Fresca. As a treat, Yolanda came to my table and asked me if I wanted Chia seeds in my Aguas Fresca . Wasn't that nice and of course I did. The restaurant is clean inside. The staff are very attentive clearing plates, cause we sat there and gabbed a lot. There was a lot of to go traffic. Inside diners too, but the dining room is so large that you can't even see the other people. Definitely give this place a try.

Harry's Café deserves all the love. Their service is consistently amazing, and I've even gotten the same person twice -- they always make me feel welcome and taken care of. There's something about the way they treat customers that makes you feel at home, not rushed or overlooked. Definitely one of my new favorite spots. Highly recommend!

What I discovered when I finally decided to give Harry's a try... - It has been open for decades - It is a no-frills place -- clean with several tables inside and outside - It has an extensive menu -- classic diner food, Mexican specialties, etc. - It doesn't skimp on the serving sizes - The prices are good for the amount of food you get - Servers are friendly and accommodating I can't believe that I only went recently because I wish I had gone sooner. They have really great food. We ordered the liver and onions dinner plate and chicken fried steak. Both were YUMMY. The liver was cooked right and didn't taste mineral-y. The steak was tender and tasty; the gravy was delicious with sausage bits. I'm already planning my next visit as I finish this review... if you haven't given them a try, go!

Smaller place with plenty of parking. 2 TVs on inside and people working behind the counter were very friendly. Place has ceiling fans and was a bit quiet. Many delivery drivers picking up orders as well. We ordered water and they asked if we wanted ice and lemon, which was nice. I ordered rib eye steak and eggs with house potatoes and no veggies, sourdough toast. Hubby ordered French toast with no sugar, eggs and extra crispy bacon. Plus an avocado burger. Prices are reasonable $34.58 for everything and portions are decent. They even gave me a sample of their cucumber lime water which was good but too sweet for me to drink an entire cup. Food was fresh and meat was juicy. Hamburger was good as well. We will definitely return.

It is a family owned restaurant and their menu was so extensive. The staff were all very friendly. I had Huevos Rancheros and my wife had a bacon breakfast burrito. Excellent food. I would highly recommend Harry's Cafe.

The chicken salad with the thick and mayonnaise tasting ranch dressing.

The service was great and the food was great especially the salad that I ate despite the ranch dressing tasting like mayonnaise and was thick so I will come back again.

Ordered number 1 French toast and eggs with bacon It was so delicious Coffee was on point

I recently visited Harry's Cafe for breakfast and ordered their famous Breakfast Burrito. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The burrito was generously filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, savory sausage, and melted cheddar cheese. The tortilla was perfectly grilled and added a nice crunch to each bite. topped with green salsa Overall, I highly recommend Harry's Cafe if you're looking for a delicious and satisfying breakfast burrito. It's definitely worth a visit!

My partner and I shared and I couldn't even finish my half- it was packed with tots, gooey cheese, egg, bacon, and sausage. The tots inside were super crispy, which shows how fresh these burritos are. We also had the Queso Tots, with the queso on the side. This place is not stingy! They gave us a great portion and the quality of the tots was top tier. They are so crispy I could hear a crunch on every single one! The queso dip is delicious, it is very creamy but also has some chunks of pepper in there which gives an amazing flavor. The salsas we tried were the Habanero and the Medium Green Chile Salsa. The green chile was good, but nothing too special. The Habanero is a must have!! It does have a kick to it, which is perfect if you love spice. The flavor doesn't overpower the burrito, but definitely enhances the whole experience. The worker who took our order at the window was very kind and helpful (it was my first time) and I can just tell that the staff prioritizes customer service. 10/10 experience!!

What was surprising was their banner said, Grand Opening Dec 29, 2025 and the store sign was Fresh Bagels and Cafe, so I was a bit confused. Well, it was bagels I was looking for so I gave them a try. Upon going in, the place felt brand new, the smell of fresh bagels, and a very eager and helpful staff. I got the spinach and Parmesan bagel, jalapeño Cheese and a plain cheese bagel and of course some cream cheese to go with my bagels. The place is very nice and spacious and next time I'm in the area, I might have to eat in. As for the name, apparently the Blue Mountain Bagels permanently closed and Fresh Bagels and Cafe opened here. Now they have a location in Buena Park, but I'm not sure if that's still open or not, however their Yelp page is still here. So hoping they create a new one for this GG location or update it.

The Tonkatsu was the sole dish we shared, and we both agreed it was delicious! I've had this dish at other places and more often than not, it is usually greasy since it's fried. This was not the case. I don't even think they use panko breadcrumbs. I'm guessing they use corn flakes, but it WORKS and gives the perfect crisp to the protein! The salad and rice were also a good portion to share if you're not starving. The restaurant is very casual and has a laid back vibe. There was also standing water on the floor with no wet floor signs, barriers, or any warnings whatsoever. This was a clear slip-and-fall hazard in a busy restaurant. I calmly brought it to the attention of the manager on duty, Julie, and pointed out how dangerous it was--especially for guests using wheelchairs or with mobility needs, this was particularly concerning. Instead of addressing the problem, she dismissed it as "not a big deal," refused to complete any incident report, gave me a negative attitude with a mean facial expression, and then called security on me as if I was the problem. When the young security guard arrived, he asked for my ID. I politely refused and explained the situation calmly--he looked surprised but not defensive. I have photos documenting the ceiling leak, standing water, and lack of signage. This experience was disappointing and unsafe, especially from a hotel restaurant attached to a family theme park. Management should prioritize fixing hazards and training staff to handle legitimate guest concerns professionally rather than escalating them. I hope Knott's / Six Flags investigates and improves. Both times I've been the local law enforcement was in having coffee, so you know the service isn't going to be horrible. And heads up for seniors, there's an early bird breakfast during the week for $10.95 for a basic breakfast. Right off the bat going to say a couple of the reviews weren't off...the coffee listed on the menu advertised refills, but truly, the mugs are small and there's not someone routinely walking around with a coffee pot like you might expect at a breakfast spot. And I too found a hair in my food...had not planned on mentioning this, but when another reviewer mentions it in less than a month's time, think it's time for management to review prep and food handling standards. On the positive side, I was able to get a coffee to go. And I wasn't going to complain about the hair (I found it halfway through finishing off my pancake), but I realized it was really stuck in there so needed to let them know they needed to likely toss that batch of batter. Having been restaurant management, I personally would have comped the ticket. But they did take off the pancake, in fairness, without my asking for a refund. But truly, it does pretty much end your meal (just took the rest of my omelette to go). The prices are steep, but I'm sure the overhead is not low...food costs are going up, staffing costs are up, and they have a large space with plenty of parking. All of that comes at a price. But the portions are good, and overall what I've had was tasty. I did give the place another shot after the pancake incident (truly, the pancake was a bit underwhelming, with an expansive menu I recommend trying something else). I tried the birria omelette and the carnitas omelette with the house potatoes. Taters were tasty, omelettes were fluffy and consistent. It was interesting how they plated. A basic cheese omelette with the meat layer on top. I also tried the loaded chili cheese fries. I ordered without onions as I'm not a raw onion fan. It comes topped with sour cream and some other sauce. I would recommend order both toppings on the side. There was so much sauciness that you could barely taste the chili, but it does fluff up the plate, so maybe there's a method to the madness there. Staff has been nice and polite, but I can see where some folks may have had a bad experience. You can tell there are some hard workers (both of my servers fell in this category), and there's a couple of slackers. But the manager on site should be floating so that they can keep an eye on the operation (front and back of house), and check in with diners. Just my two cents. Definitely worth a try if you've never been.
