If I only I lived closer to here & this would my go-to breakfast spot. The food tasted fresh. The ribeye butchered in house and eggs from a specific farm. Really nice service even if it does get really busy so make sure you come earlier in the morning. Lots of space inside and outside seating as well. Ribeye Steak and eggs were so delicious. Very good experience. Came semi close to closing and the atmosphere was relaxing on a Saturday evening. The cage gave me a very anime cafe feel. I was here with my husband and we both really l iked it! We shared chili cheese fries and we each got meals. Will post pictures. Overall great spot to check out if in the area. Stopped in for my first time today for breakfast, and I would say the best part of the meal was the service, the food wasn't bad by any means, but it was far from memorable. It's located in a small shopping center with plenty of free parking right out front. They have indoor and outdoor seating options and as mentioned our server was extremely polite and attentive, and she really went above and beyond. All of our items came out pretty fast as well. Inside is fairly large, larger than it looks from the outside, so it can host many different sized groups. I tried to order the Cinnamon Roll because it is on the menu, but they did not have that available so I went with the Bread Pudding to start and felt it was OK, it wasn't like a traditional, southern bread pudding, it was more of a moist cake kind of style. It wasn't bad, but I would not recommend it. For my entrée, I chose the Chorizo Skillet and thought it was pretty nice, but it really lacked on the chorizo part. They could've added a lot more meat and less potato. Overall, it would be a nice option if you are in the area but it isn't my fav of the Westminster breakfast options. read more

I'm trying to write an update to our previous experience. I think the special thing about this place is the small mom/pop feel on this place. I found out Amber, who is one of our favorite servers has been here for 30+ years. It's no wonder why this place is always buzzing with return customers. Gravy very flavorful and not your typical one that most places flock to. Had good texture. Home potatoes were mid. Steak was okay size, but the batter could use some work. They have to find better oranges. The huevos rancheros was okay, at best. Nothing to write home about, needed more flavor. The server was nice enough I suppose, albeit a bit clumsy spilling water all over the table. The ambiance was fine. Overall really disappointed with this breakfast. Even a subpar meal I can eat when I'm really hungry. I was starving and couldn't help but sit and stare at this bland food before getting out of there with plans to write this review and never return. Having lived in the area for many years, have visited most of the local spots, all around , for breakfast. Petes, by FAR, is the most expensive. Bacon and eggs, plus a coffee, came out to over $23. Yes, we get it, everything has gone up, higher pricing etc. But this is absurd. Food was ok, I mean, its breakfast, difficult to mess up Eggs & Bacon. Been coming here for years and it does not disappoint. I'm VERY picky with my Belgian waffle but here it hits the spot every time! You can top it off with bananas, caramel, and whipped cream too if you want? Yum! Their syrup is delivered to you with the waffle, in a small container and it's WARMED. Syrup tastes so much better warmed it comes with a side or eggs and bacon/sausage. And let me tell you, it's not the scrawny/burnt looking sausage. They're thickkk, they're juicy. Chefs kiss I prefer to add spinach and a bit of cheese to my scrambled eggs. They serve lunch and dinner there too btw. Great burgers, fresh pastas, soups, sandwiches, burritos, milkshakes, amongst many other options. They do have outside seating available which I find to be a very serene experience. As soon as we walked in, we were ignored. Only one lady made eye contact, but she decided to go over and assist the two men (who were Caucasian and arrived minutes after we did) who sat next to us. Then we waited for over 15 minutes, I honestly was about to tell my sister and brother if they wanted to leave because the three ladies clearly ignored us. Finally after waiting one of the servers looked at the rest of the ladies and said I guess as she walked over to our table. She took our orders, we ate our food and I'm not sure if the food wasn't cooked well or something but the food didn't stay down a few minutes after we left. This experience was terrible and very unwelcoming. In the past, my sister-in-law had positive experiences with the male staff who would always be our server the times we were there and now that I think about it maybe it was because he was a POC just like us and the ladies were not and didn't want to serve us. Their omelets were good along with their hash browns and that was another reason my sister-in-law and I would go to this spot, along with the great customer service of the man who was there the times we went to uncle Pete's. Honestly, it's sad to see such treatment based on how we look. I have not been to this place since this horrific experience and don't plan to go back. I hope that they treat POC with the same respect they treat the rest of the people who aren't POC. There's indoor and outdoor seating and they show the games on their tvs. My boyfriend was excited to see that they were playing the nfl game. This time around I went with a suggestion from Reddit that said Uncle Pete's Cafe was a good breakfast spot. I was happy to learn that the suggestion didn't disappoint. Arrived here on Memorial Day morning (11 am). We were greeted by our server and seated immediately. I got the chorizo and eggs plate which came with hash browns, your choice of flour or corn tortilla (I opted for the corn), refried beans, and salsa. Everything was made to perfection. The hubs got a Belgian waffle with eggs and bacon. There was a little confusion about adding banana to to the waffle but our server was great about clearing that up. The banana is definitely a must try with the waffle. The place was busy but didn't have any trouble with parking or service. One of absolute worst meals I've ever had. Arrived at 8:30 pm. Ordered the Chicken Croissant sandwich with Fries. The chicken was dry and bland. Completely ZERO flavor. The fries were double-cooked, dark brown in color, clumped together and tasted horrible. Never even touched the Fries after that first dosgusting one. I ordered a side of Ranch for $1.50 with the Fries. Went to pay and they STILL wanted to charge me for the Ranch, even though it was never used. Terrible service standards. The ONLY saving grace to this horrible meal was the very friendly service from the older lady Waitress who felt sorry for me having such a crap meal. I've been here before. The service is good. The place is clean. I usually have breakfast. Today I worked from 5am till 2pm and wanted something good. So I was gonna have a tuna fish sandwich but the nice waitress told me there was onions in the tuna, so I opted for the fish sandwich which was fried. I hate onions. So I tipped $5 bucks because I appreciate not accidentally having to eat something I don't like. So I took my order to go. When I started eating my sandwich I was talking to someone and preoccupied with the conversation so I had my polite manners on. The fish was like rubber. It was like eating the rubber sole of a tennis shoe with some fried breading on it. I was so hungry that when it fell out of the breading I ate the breading. There were two fillets so I set the rubber one aside and made a sandwich with the second one. It was rubber too. I took the breading off and ate the breading. Then I put the two buns with the tomato together and ate the bread with tomato. I'm starting to feel sick. So if I die, I would like my friends and family to be able to know what I was thinking about today. If the chef can check when the food was bought and the vendor that would help. If these fillets are left over from 2020 during COVID and you wanted to finally sell them I get it. Everyone keeps old wedding cake for decades. Please sell my truck to pay for my coffin. Oh, what a great place Uncle Pete's Cafe is for a hearty breakfast. We braved a busy cafe with lots of patrons and got lucky to sit at a table for two. Luis came over, and I had that great cup of coffee. The lovely missus has the waffle with a handful of yummy bacon. My favorite is the Popeye omelet, but change the feta cheese to cheddar. Oh, that hash browns was great, and the Sourdough toast was perfect with all the jams at the table. That coffee is so good that I was offered a cup to go. It was a Sunday. I decided outdoor seating would have been better than indoor after I saw that their TVs were set to sports other than football. Football has just begun so not interested in the rest. Either way, indoors was very loud. I know I wouldn't have been able to have a conversation with my husband, so we sat outside. I think our waitress wasn't keeping up with the tables outside as much as she was inside. My husband's coffee cup sat empty for quite some time. She also brought his English muffins out when he was almost half way into his meal. The English muffins were cold at that point and he said to me he wasn't eating cold English muffins. She never came to see if we were doing ok. Later on, she gave us the bill in a little bill holder. I waited with my debit card but she never came back. A different waitress waiting the table behind me offered to take my payment in. I waited for ten minutes before I went inside to find out where my card was. I hadn't even been rung up yet. I was finally rung up and my husband was in the car annoyed because it was taking so long like everything else. I don't know if it was just because it was a busy Sunday that there was lack of attention to detail or if our waitress is just slow as snails, but our breakfast experience was ruined.
