    Matcha Rocky
    Annette M.

Matcha girl here I'll try them anywhere was in this area and found this on yelp so I decided to try it they close at 3. Don't miss it either it hidden right off the corner next door the Bardot. They don't have the shoe anymore hanging outside. Don't miss the sign in the sidewalk. Frank was my barista I believe he may have been the owner. He even game me a little history and tutorial on making the matcha mixed it right in front of me.. Matcha was solid full flavor earthy soft creamy. When in the neighbor hood definitely come back. I had iced almond milk with vanilla vanilla was not sweet at all very good. They also sell a small can of matcha maybe for 10 servings. Rocky brand. They also do coffee. They have there regulars everyone knows your name very personable. They don't have sugar fee either. Support this small business..

Very simple menu. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was just okay. Nothing that would make me say, "I need to come back here!" It was also pretty pricey for how small it was and they only have one size. They are still in a temporary location so there is not much seating. Definitely a grab and go type of spot. The employees were all very nice.

I came by to check out the coffee from this local shop because of all the great reviews on Yelp. The small shop is located in a building immediately next to Bardot. Super cute spot. The gal behind the counter was already helping another customer but quickly transitioned to assisting me. She looked alone in tending to the shop but it wasn't very busy so it seemed to be ok. She was friendly and nice. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. This is my typical go to drink. Their coffee tasted a little bitter and the drink wasn't as creamy as I would have liked. Absolutely nothing wrong with this coffee shop but with others like Iron and Kin nearby, it's hard for me to give it more than an average rating. I'd be willing to come back and try other drinks.

It was meh. I was expecting more honestly. It's definitely a grab and go coffee stop, as seating is extremely limited. I got an iced cappuccino which was mediocre. I also got an iced vanilla latte which was pretty good, and an iced matcha latte sweetened which was pretty good. I think the best out of the three was the matcha. They sell Rocky's matcha tins! Service was fine. Felt like a lackluster experience and most likely won't return soon.

My friend was raving for us to go for the past couple of weeks because she saw it on social media and we finally went. This matcha is probably the best quality I've ever had. Look how green it is. the order came out so fast. Two people who greeted us were super kind and chill! Can't wait to come back. They also have really nice clothing that is actually amazing quality. This place does not skimp out on quality. Who needs places like Starbucks when you can just go here! The location is tucked away so you have to look past the restaurant in between the boutique to find it!

I ordered an Iced Honey Latte which was a little small for the price but still very delicious. It didn't taste too sweet and hit the spot. Cool place!

    Americano

Stopped by to try their matcha latte and an americano. Both were actually pretty good. The matcha latte is on the smaller side for the cup, but I ordered it light on the vanilla syrup and it still had great flavor. The americano was solid as well smooth and easy to drink. Overall, a nice spot if you're craving matcha or coffee.

The drinks: full-bodied and so good! It's an unassuming little spot with a small menu, but boy do they make some good coffee. I asked for light (easy) ice and felt like the portion and price was right. We shared a cardamom pastry that complimented the coffee perfectly. When I go back, I'm ordering the exact same thing. In my own wise words: "No need to switch it up when you find what works."

UPDATE: Finally, after weeks of coming and not having the greatest americanos / espresso.. something finally changed. Either the beans changed and are phenomenal -- or the barista I got this day, knows how to dial them in and tamp properly. Regardless, hope it stays this way forever

Stumbled upon this shop (next to Bardot) while walking around Claremont. It's a clothing store/coffee shop that is currently under reconstruction so they have a little temp location. Got two oat milk lattes and it was GOOD - probably one of the best I've tried in a while. We also noticed a rack of clothing and loved the material of the crew neck and hoodie. Excited for the actual store to be finished! Until then, would come back for lattes here in the meantime!

I absolutely adore Harvard & Yale; however, on the weekends they may need a second person. One barista is causing long lines & time waits.

I went in just expecting to lie down, relax, and listen to singing bowls for an hour (which would have been great on its own) but this was so much more than that! In addition to the singing bowls, there were lots of other lovely sounds. One of the healing practitioners had what looked like a large shakuhachi style flute. She would walk around and set the base down on the ground, a few inches from our bodies, and play it. And you could not only hear it- you could FEEL the vibrations resonating through your body! The best part was that one of the other healing practitioners walked around did mini Reiki sessions with each of the participants. Even though it was a group session, I experienced PROFOUND healing. I had been experiencing extreme muscle tension in my neck for the past three weeks. I had a massage earlier that week and even the massage did not relieve the tension. But a few hours after I left the sound bath, the tension was COMPLETELY GONE! Such an amazing experience! I will definitely be back!

The digital wardrobe was an interesting concept, but I did not find it particularly useful in practice. Most of the items I purchased were ultimately returned or sold. There were also purchases I did not feel I had approved, and when I attempted to address these concerns, I did not receive a meaningful response. Because my concerns remained unresolved and not responded to (I had given a week), I cancelled our final meeting as it's awkward having someone ignore you then come to your home. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable continuing the working relationship. The fashion suggestions were very basic ie "where a cardigan with a dress" and not what would expect from a stylist, more like something at the mall. This review reflects my personal experience as a paying client. Based on that experience, I would not work with this stylist again.
