Loved the food and beer offerings here. Their food is a bit heavy and you will taste the amazing grilling/smoking skills by the Bearded Chef! Truly an amazing and flavorful menu. From pulled pork to brisket. Even Tomahawk steak once a week. It's a bit tight inside so be warned to get there early in order to fight the lunch crowds. One of my favorite things about my experience here was how welcomed you feel. It is small but it's all worth it! They have the smoker right outside and you can tell this is a locals spot. I love that is located in Kendall and will probably be here forever. I hope the owner of this place becomes very successful because he truly deserves it with all the flavors he is cooking up in that kitchen. We had the platter which brings ribs, chicken wings and pulled pork, French fries with bacon and some sort of sauce, corn nuggets and two beers. They have a massive beer selection. This is a beer lovers paradise! And prices are amazing! They do have daily specials as in certain meats they have on certain days. Probably one of the coolest places I've ever had the honor of eating at. Oh, and the food is phenomenal too!

I don't get it. How can this place have so many positive reviews? I just ate there on 5/18 and I had the worst brisket I've ever had in my life. Half the plate was unrendered fat, the other half was a mushy, pot roasty mess. Whoever made it does not know what they're doing. You have to trim a brisket before you smoke it, you DO NOT leave a 2-3 inch fat cap on it and expect it to render. You also cut it across the grain, not with the grain but I think they had to cut it with the grain because it was wrapped for so long that it turned mushy and there would be no way to slice it correctly without it falling apart. Look at the picture, look at the fat, the strands of meat. Does that look tasty to you? I would be ashamed to place a plate of that in front of someone. That's how my plate went back. I also got the cheese chicken sandwich and that was not good. The chicken was flavorless and cubed with a weird texture. Where does one get cubed chicken? Maybe at Subway and this place. And why are there no prices on the menu? Maybe so they can charge whatever they want? And the ambiance. Let's see, there's an upside down blue lives matter flag flying outside and a flag with ak-47's for stripes inside, only thing missing was the let's go brandon flag. I'll never go back. read more

The food is good. Ver tender ribs and brisket. However, not a single staff member was wearing a mask. Several customers were standing waiting for table or waiting for good and not all were wearing a mask. I was sad to see a EMT from Miami Dade fire department without his mask. I asked the waitress if they had a reason and she mentioned that she has a condition that prevents her from wearing it. Places like this are part of the reason why so many are dead. I firmly believe in having an open economy but business owners should be responsible. Very sad to see people being so irresponsible. read more

If you've reached a bunch of warehouses that makes you wonder am I in the wrong place the smell was contagious, you're probably at Hate Mondays. It's a hole-in-the-wall serving a great selection menu of burgers and barbecue. Coming inside and you will be surprised at the number of people in such a small place you would wish they take reservations. When you first walk in the decor is a collection of different finds from license plates to cheeky signs. Music was a mix of hip hop and oldies 80-90's. Service was great and quick, there corn nuggets and onion rings were amazing and great startes. I had BBQ done the right way with the greatest finger licking spices and sauces. You must try it for yourself! Unbelievable prices! French fries were perfectly seasoned. No need for sauces or additional seasoning. Everything on the menu was great! Will def be back. The owner was very gracious and the staff was great as well. This place was so good I cant wait to go back couldn't stop myself from eating. Go there soon! You will love it! Hungry for BBQ, so scanned yelp for something good and voila! Yes as everyone else has described, stuck in a warehouse bay. Hate Mondays Tavern is a little hard to find and it's slightly difficult to park, but worth the trip, especially if you're hungry. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I posted some. In all seriousness I enjoyed each and every bite, so many of the local BBQ locations have turned into fast food low quality chains. No Southern BBQ like there use to be, and that's sad! Where has this place been all my life? Absolute, new favorite BBQ joint in Miami. Well-worth the 30-40 minute drive from Miami Lakes. Food was amazing - from the corn nuggets to the fries to the absolutely FIRE AF pulled pork sandwich. My husband had the philly cheese steak and wouldn't shut up about how great it was. No matter what you get, this place does not disappoint. Service was A++++. Everyone we encountered was beyond sweet. Chef even hooked us up with some chicharrones, which were also delicious of course. From food to service to ambiance, it was all awesome. I'm very reluctant to rate my experience as high as 5 stars. Not because it's not worth it (it is) but because I don't want everyone to start coming here and ruining my perfect lunch time spot. The place is small. 7 or 8 tables. But they aren't crowed or on top of each other which is nice. The owner does the serving, order taking, and some of the cooking. Excellent for quality control. Blah blah ok- let's indulge in my review of the smoked ribs (available Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - best kept secret around. Apparently they don't advertise. It's just word of mouth but you had better believe the word is out). They smoke the ribs for AT least 6 hours. You know it the minute you walk up to the door. The smell will make anyone hungry. The ribs were so good. Yeah there are better words but I type this with BBQ sauce on my face and fingers and a smile on my face. Tender, smoky and with just enough sauce not to drown the ribs and overwhelm the smokiness which would have been a shame indeed. Served hot with fries- crispy and salted to perfection- perfect vehicle to soak up the last bits of sauce. So happy. Companion had braised ribs with rice and beans which were 'really good' but she kept trying to throw subtle hints my way about tasting my ribs. I'm nice but, not that nice. Nope. I feel like I'm at home, cooking and drinking good craft beer. Wait and the music just AWESOME! First time I came here was with my son and he loved it, he at most of the ribs alone FYI he's was a year and a half. Second time I came here was because i wanted to have some good craft beer and ended with wings too because they are irresistible #droolface they are well cooked and flavorful. Not sure even where to start with the restaurant. First of all it's inside a warehouse complex. It is literally a hole in the wall but was busy the whole time we were there. They restaurant has been there for 3 years already and I had no clue. It was rated a perfect 5 which is rare especially for a place hiding in a warehouse district. I can tell you this place did not disappoint. From the service to the food to the ambiance it was all so cool. There is room for about 20 people max inside so if you come at peak lunch hours you may have to wait for a table to clear up. I was attended right away and ordered the Monday Burger. The burger comes in a cheese sauce with onions and jalapeño that is prepared each morning. It gives the burger such a unique taste. The pork belly was perfect. It was delicious. The fries were not greasy and came out hot and well seasoned. Not too salty. The Philly cheesesteak had the same sauce as well and was actually a bigger portion than the burger. Everything was delicious. On the way out, the owner Karl thanked us for coming by. The story behind this place is great, the ambiance is great, and the food is great. Second time to this lil' joint on the west side. Tucked away in an industrial warehouse area. Heard great things about their bbq ribs and brisket. Last time (pre-COVID) I went they were out so had to come back and give it second try. It was average to my tastes. It's the style of ribs where they are drowned in bbq sauce which makes it hard to really taste the smoked meat. Also ordered some brisket, that was a huge portion for an order. It was served more like several large hunks of meat than the traditional sliced brisket but definitely had the smoked flavor I was hoping for. French fries and the potato salad were ok, nothing to rave about. I will go back just for their brisket if not to give the ribs another try and just ask them to go light on the q-sauce. But this probably will all have to wait for me personally until after COVID. To each their own but I didn't feel they were doing what's right by their customers or themselves by not having one person behind the counter wear a mask and I counted 4 people back there in what is a very small area. My bestfriend and I had the corn nuggets and they were super crispy brought out to us at the perfect temperature. The care and love that went into those corn nuggets is unmatched I could taste it. This was a must go to place on my yelp App. I went with a friend and of course we were lost because eits in a warehouse district in Kendall. When we finally found the place we were very curious and anxious to go in. Its an amazing place with lots of great Memorabilia. The server was amazing, I wanted to try everything but I opted on asking her to give me suggestions and they did not disappoint. The Salmon dip they make with homemade chips are so delicious ( must have ) I ordered the salmon tacos and my friend had the ribs. What can I say everything in this place is delicious, you can't go wrong with great service and delicious food. The owner came to our table and we spoke for a bit, super friendly and an outstanding chef. I was in this place the last day they had inside dining due to Covid19. Thank you Yelp for bringing Hate Mondays Tavern into my life! This place is hands down my favorite BBQ spot in Miami which is such a hard rarity to find. Discovered on Yelp, my boyfriend and I decided to check it out on a weekday for late brunch. The restaurant is in a warehouse district and somewhat surprising upon finding/entering though it holds a warm and inviting interior. Couldn't imagine coming here with a large party to sit, but noticed that many were coming in to pick up their to-go orders. We scanned the menu quickly and immediately ordered a Full Rack of Pork Ribs and a Pulled Pork Sandwich with their Creamed Corn Nuggets and French Fries as sides. Wow. Wow. Wow! The ribs were cooked to perfection and the sauce paired very well. Their Creamed Corn Nuggets were like nothing I had ever tried before because unlike typical corn nuggets, the battering on the outside was lightly crisped though the filling was literally gooey and creamy.
