I had the best time at Haven Head Spa! I was able to make a day-of appointment. The staff was extremely friendly and greeted me upon arrival and escorted me to a private room for my treatment. The treatment was so luxurious and they even helped me take photos / videos so I could remember the experience. Will definitely come back again!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect since this was my first time trying Kaori Japanese head care but it was such a relaxing experience! The 12 steps started with a scalp analysis which is so cool and also gross lol. Beverly was very nice, explaining the process and checking in to make sure I was comfortable with the steps, pressure, and water temperature as we went along. I really enjoyed the scalp massage as well as the neck and shoulder massage after a long week! Best of all, it includes a skin analysis and she customized a facial mask for my dry skin. After blow drying my hair, it felt so soft and had extra shine from the keratin steam. Now I'm convinced I need to treat myself more often! The price is very reasonable considering the full experience.

This place is awesome! Ask for Winnie!! She will treat you like a queen. It's so relaxing here - I even fell asleep.

Subpar at best if I'm trying to be nice. Concept is amazing, execution? Terrible. I've been to numerous head spas and this was by far the least enjoyable in all aspects. For one, the entire session felt like it was being done by a 5 year old. The lady was extremely gentle to the point that I think I felt the ladies hands on my actual scalp once. Although that's very kind, I'm here for a head wash, not to have someone gently play with my hair. You have to dig in there to get the shampoo out. I even told her at the very end that I would like for her to wash the back of my head again because she completely missed that area. Imagine walking out with product in your hair when you're paying for clean hair. The amount of time spent on actually providing me the services I paid for vs just washing the sink and lightly stroking my hair was crazy. I got so anxious by the end of it because I didn't feel relaxed at all and honestly just wanted to get up and leave. Now it's time for the payment, even though I submitted my card info online when booking the appointment, lady came up to me at the end and asked if I wanted to pay by Zelle or Venmo. I responded saying neither and that I would like to pay with the card on file. She said she cant do that so I was understanding and told her that I'll just pay with my physical credit card. She then responded and said they don't take credit card so I told her to call the owner and ask since I do not have Venmo and would not like to Zelle the money. The owner responded and said paying with my card was fine, but I would be charged an additional 8% for sales tax.... Ma'am. We live in the state of California. Sales tax for services does not exist. I stated that law to her and she said "okay no problem we usually charge tax but since you had to wait 20 minutes for your appointment, I'll wave the tax for you and pay it out of my pocket, I'll pay it with my money no problem." It's one thing to say there's a 3% credit card fee to which I can understand. But an 8% tax charge is absurd. Alongside trying to guilt trip me at the end and say you'll pay it out of your own pocket? That's manipulation. Maybe it's because I've been to many other head spas that I have a certain standard but honestly I just think that when you're paying for a service, it should at least be done up to industry standard. Don't waste your time here. read more

ARA was my technician. She did a fabulous job and Winnie did a great job of greeting us and making sure we had all the accommodations we needed. My wife and I had a very good time here. It's a really good place to relax and healing. I got scalp, face, neck and shoulder massage, that's all we need to wipe the stresses out. They would analyze your scalp before the treatment, this is the first time I saw my scalp, after the treatment they will showed result, my scalp looked healthier, all build-up and oil disappeared. I came to Haven head spa for the first time and I loved it, I was only able to stay awake for the first 20 minutes and after I fell into a deep sleep. So happy to have found Haven Head Spa! I've been hearing about scalp treatments and spas, and Haven Head Spa truly exceeded my expectations. The staff is absolutely lovely, the salon is extremely clean, and the facials, neck and shoulder massage, and scalp and hair treatments were wonderful. They do by appointment only. I called yesterday but they were full booked for weekends, it ruined my day because I am busy on weekdays, but Lily was very professional, she called back and took my late appointment at 7:45 politely. She kept asking if I didn't mind coming late, of course I don't mind. I had a wonderful experience here. I love her massage. Every inches of my head were taken care of. My tiredness disappeared, and I left with soft and clean hair + scalp. Although it was late Lily was not rush, she checked my scalp after blowing dry and told me that it was still dry, she spent more time on doing light therapy for my scalp and it looked better after her treatment.
