I had a really lovely experience here. I got the 75 minute premium package ($138). Parking is easy to navigate and the area of town this location is in was easy to get to and seemed safe. The facility was clean and the ambiance was really nice when I walked in. I was greeted by my technician quickly and checked in before my appointment began. The changing room was clean and well lit. The procedure room is not a single person space, but I felt there was enough privacy where I wasn't uncomfortable and wasn't bothered by any other noise My treatment was really nice. Long overdue but was incredibly relaxing. My skin and hair both left feeling so much better than I came in. My technician was wonderful about checking on pressure at the beginning, then just continuing through. Each part of the service was really nice. Adequate time on each part and honestly, the head spa part was really underrated. The value for what the service cost was beyond fair. The skin products were really nice and soothing. I have semi sensitive skin and everything that was used wasn't TOO heavily fragranced and left my skin feeling light and clean. Paid via Venmo to avoid the credit card charging fee (reasonable) and left a few minutes after my appointment time was over. Highly recommend. This is definitely a well deserved spa day for anyone who is able to stop in. read more

Came here with my sister for a little TLC. Staff was super kind and overall experience was top notch. Super relaxing and affordable. We got the base treatment but that's all we really needed($118). We also ended up adding the scalp exfoliator ($25) after the scalp analysis. Really enjoyed the scalp massage, they also gave us a shoulder massage and a complimentary hot stone but didn't really care for that. You can also extend your massage if you don't care to have your hair blow dried. Overall , I would recommend you give this place a try if you are looking to sit back and relax. read more

I've been to many headspas around OC and this is the one that I keep coming back to. There is ample parking in this plaza. Appointments can be easily made online. I usually get the premium package that is 1 hour and 15 minutes. From start to finish, it's always been a relaxing experience! I usually end falling asleep for most of it, but wake up feeling refreshed with extra clean hair and scalp. The workers are very sweet and make sure that the whole process is comfortable. read more

This head spa was nothing short of amazing. Mindy & Mia at the front desk took care of me so well. I was a walk-in and they had space for me on a Thursdays afternoon. I had the premium package which was good for what it costs & I included the 25 dollar exfoliating scalp treatment. I'm glad I did because it was much needed and worth it. It was very relaxing, this was my first time ever trying this massage. I have been looking into it but hadn't yet found the place. So many treatments and techniques were included that I've paid much more for elsewhere and received far less. I got the Deluxe Renewal Facial (90 minutes), and it was incredible. The service included dermaplaning, a professional facial peel, nano infusion technology, LED light therapy, skin analysis, deep cleansing, facial massage, a collagen mask, and more. Every step felt intentional and customized, and my skin looked and felt amazing afterward. I'm so glad my friend referred me here. After trying facials at many other places over the years, this was by far one of the best values and most comprehensive treatments I've experienced. This place is amazing! I surprised my fiancé with an appointment and it was fantastic. Everything was so relaxing and accommodating. We loved it! I just wish I told my masseuse at the start that she could go a little harder. I came in with a sprained ankle, so I think she was just being gentle with me, which I appreciate! But next time I'll speak up about my preference. My fiancé's massage was perfect for him. They really worked out some knots and he left feeling great. We both loved the scalp treatment! The lobby is a bit small and hectic but they try to get you in and out of that area asap which is good. Only star off was for the facial microdermabrasion add-on the machine felt like it wasn't doing anything and would rather have done a different add-on or ski all together. I go to head spas a lot because I love relaxing, and I also bring my mom since she doesn't have much dexterity in her hands anymore to wash her own hair. The staff here is always so kind. They always help steady my elderly mom, assist her through the process, and make sure we both feel comfortable and relaxed. At this point, I've been to head spas in Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Vietnam, and all over L.A. And Aroma in Costa Mesa, Laguna Beach, and Lake Forest is my favorite. The way they organize their treatment really stands out, and it's the only head spa I'm a regular at. I've also been losing more hair with each wash this year, so I'm trying to take better care of my scalp. They currently have 10 percent off treatments, and if you go five times, the sixth is free with their stamp card. I honestly can't say enough good things about Aroma. Their treatment rises above the rest and is so much more relaxing. It's absolutely worth the drive. I just wish they were closer. read more

My visit here was absolutely wonderful and very through. From booking til leaving the facility, everything was flawless. When booking for a friend and myself, I was informed there were no individual rooms at this location. Not a problem for us. Reminders were provided leading up to the day we were going. Upon arriving the place, it is very basic from the outside, but once you enter, it's inviting and nicely decorated. My friend and I were seated at the stools with mirrors for part 1 of our experience. Here we were shown the current condition of our scalps so we can compare before and after. Very interesting! Next up a changing room so we can have shoulders up exposed for full treatment. They provide a basket we took with us for our belongings to go in which we placed at the foot of our treatment bed. The experience was wonderful. Very relaxing. Despite being in a shared room, with the calming music in the background, I completely forgot there were others nearby. The set up was great. Post treatment, we gathered our basket and headed to the next room where our hair was dried for us. No styling, but that's ok. My hair looked beautiful, shiny and healthy. It felt so good. We were able to see our scalps once again and a huge difference after being cleaned properly. Kathy took care of me during my treatment and did an amazing job! I saw a New Year promotion from Aroma Headspa on Yelp, so I decided to check them out. I made the appointment online, and paid a $20 deposit via credit card to hold the time for my appointment. However an hour before my appointment, I received a text that they preferred cash payment, zelle, or venmo or there's a 3% credit card processing fee. Annoying how they didn't care about taking my credit card to charge me for a deposit, then all of the sudden want cash. The thing that bothered me the most is how they didn't mention this up front while I was making the reservation, because I wouldn't have gone here at all. Their Kaori Head & Scalp Treatment ($138) is a 90 minute service that includes a 9 step treatment to promote scalp health and relaxation. I went to a private room to change, and one of their staff members did a scalp analysis. I got talked into a Scalp Purification ($25) add-on to exfoliate my scalp cause my pores were a little congested. Then I was led to the back room where there were 5 head spa stations, separated by curtains. Their Laguna Beach location has private rooms, if you prefer that. I was the last and only guest for the evening so that gave me a chance to chat with Naomi, who took care of me for the evening. She was fantastic. Such friendly personable service that helped me forget all of the annoying drama with payment. She's an employee so I'm not going to hold management's decisions against her. She put a cozy heating pad on my stomach. Please note staff will ask if you're pregnant regardless of your size because of the health risk of a heating pad to someone who may be pregnant. They also put on these comfy foot warmers, which is also cozy and comfortable. The relaxation begins with a essential oil scalp massage. Naomi was thoughtful to ask me if I have any allergies, and if lavender was an okay scent to use with me. Then we shampooed. There was a good amount of massaging for the neck, shoulder, face and scalp. She also did a facial with steam and a collagen facemask. There was hydrotherapy steaming of the hair. They also do a alopecia (hair loss) and dandruff prevention therapy. And they finish you up with drying your hair and checking once more for your scalps condition after the treatment. I could clearly see the difference. I was also pleasantly surprised that Naomi took great photos and videos of my hair during the treatment. She even instructed me on doing a video flipping my hair, that turned out really great. She airdropped the photos to me and I got to enjoy the benefits of the treatment. I'm still annoyed by their payment options but I really like Naomi, so I'll begrudgingly come back to visit her and enjoy the treatment. read more
