    #3. Huli Huli Chicken
    Sheila A.

I'm not sure what people are expecting from Hawaiian Time, but I got a Regular Huli Huli Chicken plate today and it was delicious. There is a sign at the drive-thru speaker that they are under-staffed (no shocker there these days), but I didn't wait more than 10 minutes for my order. I believe the owner was working the drive-thru along side a skeleton crew. I would 1000x's rather support a local place versus the mega chain next door. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because they didn't have chicken katsu, but knowing what the options are now, is still go back. And also their hours are pretty limited it seems but that's probably to do with staffing. Overall, Portion was a good size for the price, tasted delicious, service was great.

Oh Hawaiian time we gave you one more try. Last night we got huli huli chicken. Two large orders for $10.50 each. Leftovers galore. The girl at the drive up was nice. Inside it looked clean enough. Today we are both miserably sick with tummy issues. I will spare you all the gory details. Nope. No more. If you want Hawaiian go to Roxy's or 808 or the place in Forest Grove. Skip this.

They were really short handed and I felt bad for the employees. But other than a short wait to order, they got the food out in very little time. So very tasty. And the staff was really friendly. It's a shame they don't have a kids menu, but honestly you can just order the large version of the platter and share. My 7-year-old, when asked if he was done, said "it's too good for me to be done!" He then ate every grain of rice off his plate. I'd like me you don't care for macaroni salad, they are happy to sub extra rice for it. Plus, cool surfing photos!

I come here at least twice a month, if not more! The huli huli chicken is always moist, flavorful, and so reasonably priced! Do yourself a favor and get Hawaiian Time!

His place is always really good. I have enjoyed everyone I eat here . It's a unique place great menus . The menu is really good . The flavor on the meat is really great nice smoky and delicious . I recommend this place totally . It is really good Hawaiian food . The macaroni salad is to die for . I always try to get an extra helping of this stuff ... I give them 4 stars for this it's definitely a place to check out if you like Hawaiian food ..

This is the third Hawaiian time I have gone to and the food is very good. I have had better but it's never a bad meal. That alone would give it 4 stars. This group seems to find vacant buildings and re purpose them to become Hawaiian times. The ones in Eugene and West Salem are old gas stations. This one is obviously a former Burger King. Not the best in atmosphere but as long as the food keeps coming out like this I'll keep coming back

I have driven by a couple of times and really wondered how this place would be. I happened to be there this time around lunch time, so I stopped. I decided on the chicken plate. YUMMM. The chicken was perfectly tender and delicious. Added some of their teriyaki sauce over the rice and again, YUMMMM. The mac salad was the only weak part of the meal for me. Very heavy mayo taste and I'm really not a fan of pepper in mac salad. Maybe next time, I'll try to order an extra scoop of rice and skip the mac salad. They come in 3 sizes. Small was good for lunch as I wasn't too hungry today. Regular would probably be fine most times and the large, well, I'd have to share that one!

Sign blaming unemployment for lack of employees

While I probably won't ever come back to these restaurants I was always a fan before recently. I used to live in Eugene right next time one of these places. I didn't know there was one here until about two weeks ago when I was working nearby! The food is pretty good pretty consistent between all locations I have been to. They have three side options and each comes with a good amount of food for the price. So if there is nothing else this place isn't too bad to eat at. The problem that I now have with the place is the sign they have posted around the restaurant blaming their lack of employees on people collecting unemployment. I personally couldn't imagine someone who would post a sign like this being good person to work for. I would bet their staffing issue is caused by not paying their employees enough and being a poor work environment. On top of all that they don't accept pennies, which i get it can be annoying accepting change but it's still valid money.

We took a deep breath in and agreed to branch out. This pizza was delicious! Fresh! Definitely wood fired and thin, but not soggy. We ordered a pepperoni and added mushrooms, which were wild mushrooms. And yum! Pepperoni was crisped on the edges. The pho pizza had a nice Chinese five spice flavor with a sweet glaze as well. Lived the crunchy bean sprouts, and although I am not a cilantro fan, it was well used and not overwhelming. Overall, a really good pizza. And unique. I loved the simple concept of this restaurant and the honest execution of the food and service. I would happily return.

Service is on the slower side even on a non-busy day (Saturday @6:30pm, surprising I know) but I get it, everything is made to order... Items we ordered: -Tom Yum Caesar Salad - Pho Pizza -Tom Yum Pizza The pho pizza was the only standout dish for us as it was unique and different. Their pizza dough was chewy, fragrant, all of the toppings including the brisket was fresh and tasty. Tom Yum Pizza wasn't as exciting. Needless to say, we've had better in Long Beach, CA where the tom yum flavors and ingredients really pulled through. This pizza was garnished with some French's crispy onions and cilantro on a lost sauce.. shrimp, unseasoned. Lastly, salad, meh- skip. Again, tom yum flavors had no depth and was just lost in the salad. I would try the kimchi burrata next time instead. Overall, it's a 3.5 stars for us- maybe if we have another experience it will be better next time. We shall see!

The chicken was great as were the veggies. Also for $11 I think the price was definitely worth it. The veggies are comparable to Panda Express, which isn't a bad thing, that's just what I thought of. I ordered to go and it took less than 10 mins to get my food out so that was great! While it's not the most amazing chicken teriyaki in the world, it's a great tasting and affordable option if you're looking to grab a quick lunch. I'd eat here again and maybe try their spicy tofu or something, that sounded good when I saw it on the menu. But yea, solid lunch spot!

As I drove up a few customers were entering the business, as I walked in a few folks were waiting in line, this gave me a sense of comfort that folks would be waiting for to go orders and dining in. The gentleman at counter greeted me and gave me ample time to review the giant menu board. I landing on the Hot and Spicy Chicken, the meal comes with two scoops of white rice a large portions of chicken and a good sized green salad with dressing. The portions were huge, good tasting chicken, it was not that spicy but maybe for some they may find it to be, if you decided to try it is the T8. The food price was reasonable, they served the food quickly. They also have a soda fountain for a few bucks more. I will be returning to try a few other dish options. The vibe is very chill, nice quiet atmosphere.
