Love this place! My husband and I went here after our wedding ceremony and the staff was so accommodating with our large party. This place has something for everyone- great beer, cider and even FROSÉ! Will definitely be coming back. Parking lot is small but plenty of nearby street parking. My girlfriend and I decided to try a new brewery in the area, and we came across this place. We both enjoyed hazy ipa. We tried the frozen wolf, Las trampas, and ka pai. My girlfriend enjoyed the new Zealand hazy ipa (ka pai). I really enjoyed the cryo hazy ipa (frozen wolf). Service was impeccable. It feels very at home. They even offered us more nachos since they made too much. There are lots of comfortable outdoor and indoor seating. They have outdoor fire pits if you aren't a fan of the cold. By comparison, Lovely's at Two Pitchers Brewery in Oakland absolutely crushes these burgers. Owners might want to pay a visit and learn something about comfort food. We love bringing our dog here, the outside patio is set up perfect, the burgers are the best and the selection of beer is great. Great variety of really good beers, great outdoor patio with curved wrap around benches and many tables for seating, great trees, umbrellas, lovely setting, great staff. Why 3 stars? Have been there a few times and recently left twice before even ordering because of kids running around and sprawled out all over bench seating, parents oblivious because they're busy drinking. I'm afraid of getting banged into by a child and who's liable if me or a kid gets hurt? Why bring kids to an environment where everyone is getting inebriated?? Visited for the soft opening today with my Dad and the venue itself was excellent! I love the new Headlands beers they have on tap that I haven't seen at the corner stores in the past. The fire pits are a great addition to the place as well since it was kind of cold. As for the food, I did not order any tonight, but I'd definitely recommend adding fries to the menu. First visit to Headlands yesterday afternoon. They've got a great vibe-lots of mingling because of the way their space is laid out. Yummy beer!! Very dog friendly. My only recommended change is to offer a couple more snack options for those that are looking for something lighter than a sausage. How about pretzel bites? So glad Lafayette has its very own brewery! Unique, whimsical outdoor spaces and nice indoor space. The staff is very helpful and patient as you taste samples to find your favorite. The smash burgers are fantastic, but a little small (3oz patty) but they've largely rectified this by offering double meat! In sum, the space and the staff make Headlands a 10/10. read more

Went very soon after it opened with a buddy of mine, another craft beer aficionado. Did a sampler and some glasses. Did not find any beer I would go back to. Pretty boring, bland beers. Space was nice, did not try the food but looked good. We both agreed we can cross this off our list. read more

Headlands Brewery is a nice addition to Lafayette. The beer is great, the patios and the relaxed vibe is wonderful. I gave it 3 stars because the food is absolutely awful!!!!! They have a great opportunity to make Headlands truly wonderful if they served decent food. We had the sausage plate and a hot dog.....just yuck. You use a QR code to order, however, if you order inside you have more choices. It would be nice to see the full menu on the app when ordering outside. read more

Had a nice time at Headlands. Their location is nice, food choices were awesome, and beer was tasty. They have a flight option that is acceptable and their own beers are 8/7 bucks for a pint but you can get a taller glass for a buck fifty more. A little pricey, but acceptable enough with the nice water station and nice outdoor tv area. read more

Nice space, but beer was only 'meh' - nothing to write home about, especially for $8+. We ordered the mucho nachos thinking they would be a sharing size for two. We got a little plate with the gloopy cheese sauce you get at the movies, not even real cheese. The only thing on the menu for a Main meal are sausages, sausages, and sausages. Wish we'd know Pon before going. Ended up getting take out from Local Kitchen down the street (which was excellent). Doubtful we'll be back here. read more
