Can't say I've golfed at a ton of courses (okay, really I've only golfed two), but I really enjoyed this course. It's pretty easy, which is good for a beginner like myself. There's a bit of shade along the course, which is nice. However, not all holes have a bench. Not super important, but we went on a busy Saturday and there was a lot of waiting. My husband tells me almost all courses have real grass tee boxes (our local course does not, so I had no idea), but I'd still like to mention this course has real grass tee boxes and I liked that much better. read more

Not a bad course. Great for practicing and playing your short game. DON'T play night golf here. Lights haven't been working for over a month and when I mentioned it to the guy in the pro shop he seemed quite surprised. Really? I had no idea the lights weren't working he tells me. Then how bout you get a clue and do your job. How bout stop charging people for night golf if you don't have lights. WTF people. Avoid it! read more

I joined the Players Club and what a disappointment. I mostly use it to practice, so expect the driving range to have balls...but 2 of last 3 tines they didn't due to either broken ball machine or no one to collect balls! I'm cancelling my Club membership. read more

The driving range and golf course being lit at night makes for a great evening of golf fun. The only issue that I have with the place is that the range balls have definitely seen better days. And those better days passed long ago. But overall Heartwell is a great place for golfing fun for all skill levels. read more

Played my first ever 18 holes today! (I'm usually a driving range guy) and the price was great and I had a blast! Staff was friendly too!

I reserved a Tee Time on Golf Now and Kim in the Pro Shop Failed to charge me the Golf Now Rate of $18.50 for My Grandson. She instead charged me the $9.00 Junior Rate. This would have been Fantastic except Heartwell Golf Course then requested the $18.50 be charged to my Credit Card as well. It wound up costing me $27.50 for my 12 year old grandson to play golf. Neither the Management at Heartwell, nor Golf Now would reverse the additional monies that I was charged!!! In my Phone conversations with both, they each blamed the other for reason for the additional charge to my Credit Card. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! read more

The golf course itself was great. It was the guy named Harris or Harrison I can't remember but he was so rude. If you hate your job that much you should really look for something else. He didn't say a single word to be during the entire transaction, didn't give me keys to my golf cart, didn't tell me when I'd be teeing off or how many groups were ahead of me, and then acted annoyed when I had to ask for those things. This guy brings a terrible attitude to this golf course and I really don't think he needs to be working there because he seems completely miserable and it's not something anyone should have to encounter before their round of golf. Please do something about this guy because I don't think I'll be back until he's gone. read more

Very badly managed pro shop. They give you wrong information over the phone and when you show up they uncharge you. The supervisor/manager is very poor at dealing with customers. Had a very bad experience 2 weeks ago. Wasted a lot of time. Course is not well kept and all the tee boxes were up front. Every hole had the same yardage 90-110 yards. read more

Will not be back to this driving range. Was at a soccer game down the street last Saturday, 9/15/18 and wanted to work on my golf game after so thought I would pull into Heartwell as it was practically next door. Purchased a large bucket in the pro shop, got my pin and went to the ball machine. There were no baskets there or anywhere. Four people were hitting on the range, two people had balls in baskets, two others had no baskets, balls in their trays only. Searched everywhere, up and down the line for an empty basket. Went back to pro shop, the woman searched in the back room and said "you are lucky, I found one". How are they operating a range with 3 baskets? I should have left then. I got the balls and went to the least worn mat I could find. Dumped the balls in the tray and rummaged through them trying to find balls with dimples. The woman working in the shop was courteous, that's about the only positive thing I can say about this visit to this range and the reason for one star. The range mats & balls condition deserve negative stars. read more

I come here often since it is the closest to my house. The ball quality is pretty bad here but that's bearable. Waiting 30 minutes for balls is bearable as well. Today I waited over an hour and a half for balls because they were out of balls. Even if it is due to COVID the other golf ranges never make these kinds of mistakes. It's so frustrating waiting over an hour for bad quality balls. I do not recommend coming to the golf range here. read more

Legend has it Tiger Woods has played here before. It was a good outing for me and a couple work companions I'll admit who invited me. Greens were lush for the day and helping me as I failed on my drives throughout. Nothing new for me. Everyone had a good time. Will be back soon for another round of golf. read more

Played here on a Sunday afternoon, my buddy and I were able to walk on and play the first 9 holes. You pretty much only need a pitching wedge and a putter. Carts are for sissies...use your legs and walk.The greens are in good shape and the course is pretty fun. I would definitely be back to play the full 18 and hopefully it'll be the same great experience I had today. read more

Great course for a simple nine hole. If you're 2 people or slow like myself you can finish 9 in about an hour and a half. Love the water hazards and the bunkers on the back nine. I really want to come and play in the dark which they do offer. The greens are very speedy so watch out for all you strong putters. I give 5 stars!! read more

Been playing this couse for the past 15 years and even learned here!! Fantastic par-3 course that is beginner-friendly but also challenging for the experienced player. I particularly enjoy the water holes and the well-kept greens. This place is an average city golf course that lets players get seriously backed up. Also the shop and restaurant are overpriced. There is no refund if you can't stant waiting for the four groups ahead of.you to tee off. People.stop.at the turn and sit down for.lunch, parking their carts when others are waiting for a cart. We had a mind numbing day waiting for families ahead of us offering instruction to the children while they played.multiple.balls and.took.pictures of every shot their children took, as well as each tree, flower, squirrel and hole. Great place to play golf if you're a beginner. You see a lot of noobs here. It's an 18 hole Par 3 golf course with lights. I usually play here on weekdays because they close at 10pm and its usually not crowded. Not a very difficult course at all. If you are a good golfer and want more of a challenge then play each hole from the back of the tee boxes and bring a 12 pack of beer. Don't buy beer there because it's $5.50 a tall can. The more beers I drink the more putts I miss but if I get a little bit of Maryjane in me I drain everything, go figure. read more

18 hole all par 3's. One hole after another all look and play the same. Even though it hasn't rained in a long time there is water in the bunkers and the sand is almost like rock. Also water in the cups so when you reach down for your ball you dip into the water. They charge$13.50 to play 9. You get a better deal playing Cerritos ironwood 9 $12 plus there are 2 par fours and much more variety between the holes. read more

This is the course where i learned to play golf. Its an all par 3 course so it's pretty easy. If you wanted to you could take 2 clubs, a 9 iron and a putter. The longest hole is 140 yards, which is really short. I used to be in the Junior Golf association back when i was in elementary school and went every Friday until high school. It was a great learning experience for me and now i just go there sometimes to hit balls off the range. The driving range is usually open until 10 so it's a fun place to take your friends who say they are good at golf and watch them hack away at the ball on a Friday night. And if you didn't know Tiger Woods was in this Junior Golf League, which brought so many young golfers here like me.There are two putting greens and a chipping green to practice on. There are a lot of parking spaces so you don't have to worry about that. If your a parent and want your kids to take up golf, try and get them into this golf program. I've heard it's a little hard to get into, but get on the waiting list. I don't know about now, but when i played it was only $4.75 on Friday evenings. You start off with the first few times by practicing putting and chipping. Then they start you on the back 9 until they feel you are good enough to start you on the first tee. Also since the 9th hole is the longest hole at 140 yards, if you get it on the green off the tee you can get a snickers bar. But then again that's when i was playing. It has been about 8 years since i've played in the association. I've met with the General Manager there once for an interview for a class i took in college and she is very nice. She was very helpful and is doing a great job keeping the golf course in tip top shape. Kudos! read more

Pulled up to the course parking lot around 0630 after navigating my way through the empty beer boxes in the parking lot I went to check in.. Checked in now ready to work on my short game.. Get hole # 2 beer cans smashed at the tee box.. That's fine I pick the up and put them in the trash.. Hole 4,5,8,11 and so on.. Now, I am known to have an adult beverage or 12. But C,mon people pick up after yourselves. Or Heartwell have your staff clean the course before patrons arrive. Especially for the price you charge for two players.. Kiddo has been taking golf lessons here for a few months now and though he's far from making it to the pros, he's enjoying himself and doing better as time goes on. Level 1 classes with Phil Kessler has been great for him. The pricing is incredible too. With an hour long class, hang out in the pro shop, grab a snack in the restaurant, chill out on their patio area, practice your puts or swings, or watch the kiddos in their lesson. Perfect for the busy, working person! You can dash over to hit a bucket or play 9 holes and be done in a couple of hours. Excellent for the short game. Also, if you have an opportunity to play Glow Ball Golf, it is worth every penny! They start the festivities with a little music. They give you two beers, a hamburger and chips, a glowing necklace and a glowing ball. Then they put glowing markers on the pin, turn off all the lights in the golf course and you play as long as you want to, in the dark, with a shotgun start. What's not fun about that? read more

For a par 3, Heartwell is challenging, fun, and makes you feel like you're playing on a real course. Mostly due to its scale, which is pretty large, and the tricky water and sand traps. Play 9 holes, 18 holes, or just smash balls at their driving range. Tip: you must be sober and wear your underwear UNDER you pants. read more

Came here with 11 other guys where we're all members of a local private club. Playing 18 holes of casual night golf in less than 4 hours (2 sixsomes) was a total surprise. The course was in pretty good shape and while the greens were a little soft and barely slow, they putted true. Playing in flop flops and shooting 2 under while toting a bag of beer was a total blast! read more
