Each time, the donuts tasted stale and lacked the soft, fresh texture you'd expect. Even the toppings seemed old and dry instead of crunchy and flavorful. The presentation is beautiful, and the donuts are very visually appealing, but looks don't make up for the taste. Paying nearly $20 for six donuts feels overpriced when the quality doesn't match the price. I really wanted to love this place because the designs are creative and eye-catching, but freshness and flavor matter most, and unfortunately they missed the mark both times.

For the prices you charge, serving food this bad is insulting. Warming up breakfast food should not be a challenge, yet somehow this place failed at the most basic part of its job. This wasn't a minor mistake, this was lazy, careless food prep and zero quality control. If you can't serve hot breakfast, maybe stop selling breakfast.

I didn't realize I was inconveniencing her by ordering donuts at a donut shop. Disappointing. It doesn't even matter about the donuts the experience was ruined by such a poor display of humanity. She didn't know but I just took my sick old dog to the vet and it was hard. All I wanted was to get some donuts for my family and reset my day with a sweet treat and positive mindset. It goes to show that you never know what someone is going through and we should lead with kindness. I felt no kindness at a time when I could have used a little of it. Do better.

We found Dolfo's at one of Elk Grove's outdoor events at the aquatic and civic center. The donuts were there at the right time because I was craving donuts! I ordered 2 dozen donuts, one cinnamon and one powdered. The workers were friendly and I received my fresh order about 15 minutes after I ordered. The donuts were not oily and my favorite of the two was the powdered donuts. Only after I ordered did I realize there was a bucket bucket special for $20 and I intend to order that next time to try out the other flavors.

For starters I've had friends who worked at multiple locations have a terrible time, which they only hire women, one of those friends was a person of color and would be treated differently then all the other workers and ended up getting slowly taken off the schedule. The other issue is they never restock. I came a couple weeks ago and asked for a roast beef sandwich, they are out. So I ask for pastrami, they are out. I ask for grilled chicken, guess what, they are out. I thought it mightve been because it was later in the day, but ever time I've tried again they NEVER have it restocked. I dont understand how you run a business but treat workers like that, and never have anything. I forgot to mention the donut crumble is just old donuts that didnt sell, so they crush them up and leave them in a bucket for rats to get to (true story from the inside, maybe run a business right and these reviews wont happen, dont let me get started on all the corners EVERY restaurant out here cuts.)

I used to come here all the time, but over the past visits the customer service has really pushed…read moreme away. Almost every visit feels unwelcoming. No one greets you when you walk in, and I usually have to start the conversation at the register. The staff often comes across as rude, which makes ordering uncomfortable. The only exception is one younger girl who always seems friendly, welcoming, and like she actually cares about giving good customer service. The donuts are okay, but nothing special. I've also ordered the breakfast sandwiches a couple of times, and when I asked for sourdough bread, I was given wheat instead (or at least it definitely didn't seem like sourdough). I wanted to keep supporting this place since it's local, but good customer service is just as important as good food, and that's been consistently disappointing.
