Some of the worst service I have ever had. They actively ignored us and were rude!

The meat was tender and incredibly flavorful. They also started the table with some bread which was welcomed and fresh! The vibe here is truly unique and really makes you feel like you've stepped into the Mediterranean. I would love to come back and have some coffee next time! Service was great: friendly, quick, and always very accommodating. This is truly a one of a kind restaurant in Fort Worth! Definitely don't want to skip this spot!

This place does Turkish food justice and has so much cultural charm with the decor and warm, cozy atmosphere. We started off with the complimentary bread, which was fresh and warm. I do wish that it came with an oil dip, but it was nice to have with my meal. For my entree, I ordered the lamb gyro and absolutely loved it. I sometimes find an issue that dishes at Turkish/Middle Eastern restaurants can be salty, but it wasn't here! The salad it came with did have a bit too much pepper for my liking, but the tomatoes were incredibly juicy. Overall, the meal was delicious and light. The staff was kind and attentive, but we were also the only customers there on a late Tuesday afternoon. There's a dedicated parking lot for Flying Carpet, which is a huge plus especially for it being on Magnolia avenue. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be coming back!

We started with a meze platter that was flawless when eaten with their warm bread and pita. It was plenty but we didnt want to stop there. For entrees, we went with a chicken kabob and an amazing dish: Beyti kabob (I think I got that right). I loved the combination of the tangy yogurt sauce and the Turkish seasoned beef. I'm returning just for that dish. Of course we shared, which is the way to go here so you get to try more than just one entree. Being a new place, the service had some minor glitches, which Im sure will get ironed out, but they were so nice that it didnt affect our dinner one bit. We skipped dessert but they looked home made and again could be shared. We will return as this menu deserves to be explored on more than one visit and the place will get even better once it grows some whiskers (gains experience). Its a unique dining experience for Ft. Worth plus the space and the building are very interesting to see and to be in. The owner, Charlie was a very gracious host! Jerry K.

The fresh salad really complemented the meat, and the rice was incredibly tender with pine nuts mixed in. Finished with baklava and Turkish coffee, which was the perfect combo. The baklava was crisp without being too sweet, and the coffee was strong and rich. Solid food, welcoming energy, and a place I'd definitely come back to.
