My husband and I have been coming here for the last two years. Let me just say, we love this place! The restaurant is run by a Vietnamese couple. Everyone who works here is very friendly. Heidi's serves Vietnamese dishes as well as a variety of other Asian dishes such as Teriyaki, fried rice, General Tso's chicken, and yakisoba noodles. They have great prices. It does get packed during dinner time so I'd recommend going before the rush or afterward. I usually order the Vietnamese dishes. However, I have tried their beef yakisoba which was delicious. Heidi's has the best pho place in Silverdale in my opinion. The Bánh Xèo (Vietnamese fried crepe stuffed with bean sprouts, tofu, and shrimp), Bún Bò Hu (spicy Vietnamese beef noodle soup), Vietnamese lemongrass dishes, and vermicelli bowl are tasty! Their Cà Phê Sa Đá (Vietnamese iced coffee) is also delicious. read more

Ive been eating at Heidi's Teriyaki for years (decades?!) and I've always had a positive experience. It's a great little place to grab something quick, healthy and inexpensive while you're running errands or shopping in Silverdale. Bountiful bowl of deliciousness with stir fried pork. It's a bowl layered on one side with lettuce and crunchy bean sprouts, cool rice vermicelli noodles on the other side, then julienned pickled daichon radish and shredded carrots, fragrant cilantro, sprinkling of finely chopped peanuts and finally this vermicelli bowl was topped with a hot chopped up egg roll. This is served with a light fish sauce based dressing that is so mild and tasty. Very nice dinner. I'm coming back again soon. read more

I definitely want to go back. We were pretty pleased with the food, especially after a disappointing meal at Simply Pho the night before. We went with Chevelle's advice and got Vietnamese food instead of the Americanized Asian usuals like teriyaki. We're glad we did... definitely not Panda Express-like. I ordered the #10 (Vietnamese name that they didn't bother translating = promising): shrimp, pork, and imitation crab in rice and egg noodle soup. It came with the bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeno like with pho. I like egg noodles better than rice noodles, but their rice noodles were way better than Simply Pho's. The pork and shrimp were maybe slightly overcooked, but the broth was delicious. Hubby had the curry tofu with lemongrass. Not very much curry, but it was good. The accompanying eggroll was not bad (and I am extremely picky about eggrolls because I've been spoiled by my grandmother's). Another plus: clean bathroom with nice, recent magazines. :) read more

The food was okay. None of us got the same dish but: My mom enjoyed the Teriyaki, said it was better than most that she has had. My dad doesn't really say much but seemed to like the sweet and sour he had that was super orange (how do they do that?) My uncle thought his was ok, I can't remember what he had though. I had Vietnamese Curry. I told her I wanted it spicy, but it was lacking in that department when I got it. The portions were nice, the service was quick, and the place wasn't that hard to find. I tried Thai Tea for the first time, aside from only knowing it was bottled and had milk added to it, the orange looking drink was really tasty. My only problem was the meat. It didn't taste like meat that had actually been prepared per order. Mostly like meat that was store bought and frozen, then heated to order and drenched in sauce. Best Pho! Very very nice owners and operators also! Yes their teriaki is delicious for sure as well. But honestly the pho is unreal. I swear it must be made with real bone broth it is so rich with such a nice depth of flavor. They don't short you on the meat either. Portion sizes are average, not to huge and not small and stingy either. Everything about this place is just right. The prices are fair as well. Honestly I that they were just nice people trying to make a decent living for their family and not out to gouge anyone. The service is not super super fast like fast food but it's not slow either. Although this is place is on the smaller side, their food is pretty delicious. I had their beef pho and it was probably one of the best ones I've had. I tend to judge pho restaurants on their broth and I'm telling you that theirs is pretty darn good. Their service is also pretty good and quick. Been coming here for over 15 years! Mom and pop shop OG to the Silverdale area. Highly recommended if you're looking for some good Vietnamese home cooked food, or Teriyaki. You get large sized portions at a great deal. I would recommend anything on the menu but my personal favorites are the Vermicelli Bowls and the Pho (the soup of the most delicious authentic kind I could find on the peninsula). Don't get discouraged when you first walk in; their lack of space makes up from their food. My absolute FAVORITE place for pho! The best in the area. We moved about 45 minutes away from Heidi's, but I often make the trip because it's worth it. Great prices too. My husband and kids order other foods from the menu and are always pleased with it. Their pho is great, yakisoba is great, lemongrass chicken is good. The bahn xeo is good, but need to add salt and always sriracha for me. Summer rolls are delicious as is their peanut sauce! I don't come here for plain jane. Everyone and their mother that owns an Asian restaurant around here serves teriyaki, orange chicken, and sweet & sour pork. Seriously, you're doing yourself a disservice if you're coming here for the same dishes you've had every where else. Get something here that's Vietnamese. In fact, I suggest the #7 Vietnamese Beef Salad, and as it says on the menu, LOTS of beef topped onto salad with a vietnamese dressing, and served with rice. It was not only refreshing, but filling and very good. I actually felt like I was eating healthy for once. Or the #28 Com Dac Biet Tom, Thit, Suon, which comes with grilled pork, a pork chop, and grilled shrimp, with a delicious dipping sauce, served on rice. My bf and I came here looking for something out of the ordinary, and we were extremely satisfied with both our orders. The service is also great, really nice people, and the food came out pretty quickly. I don't think many know of this place other than 'another teriyaki joint', so give this place a try, but for something other than normal Asian-American fare. read more

Came here a couple weeks ago for pho. It's a small space right next to the military recruitment centers and in the same complex as Safeway and Jo-ann's. However, it had such a hole in the wall vibe to it that reminded me of the very first time I had Vietnamese food in Hawaii. So instead of pho, I decided to order the chicken lemongrass curry. Just cause I had a good feeling. I was not disappointed. It was awesome sauce. Literally. They ask you how spicy you want the sauce on a scale from 1 to 5. I went with a 2 to start, and I would go for a 3 next time. My companion had their pho tai and the broth was comparable to our favorite pho joint in Vegas, which is to say that again, it was great. The only thing of note was that all of the meat looked cooked all the way through. I guess I'm used to seeing thin slices of raw meat being put in the broth right before serving it and seeing it cook right before my very eyes. No biggie though. We also had their fresh spring rolls. And they were FAT! With love and with yumminess. So yeah, I pretty much love this place. The service was great, the food took didn't take long to come out, and the prices are reasonable. I am so happy I found this place! The food is wonderful and tasted so authentic. I am so picky about Pho soup and it is wonderful! So much flavor that I crave it often now. I have also had a few other items too and they have all been good! I had the curry chicken today and I was very pleased. The people that work there are so nice . It appears to be family owned and I like that! When I leave I always feel like I just got back from a little trip from Vietnam or as close to as I am going to get. Wow! So glad that we stopped here tonight. Have eaten here 1x years ago and man I wish I had remembered how good it was before today. This will probably become a regular spot. I ordered the #4 Pho Tai Nam (Pho with eye of round and brisket) and the Heidi's Special teriyaki, sub-ing in fried rice for the steamed rice ($2 extra) Everything was soooo good. And the large Pho will serve us as lunch for tomorrow. It was everything we were hoping for and more. Definitely worth a check out. read more

LOVE Heidi's Teriyaki! They have generous portions for low prices, the food is fantastic, and the folks there are always very friendly! In my opinion, the best pho in the area! My husband and I always go here for our pho fix! Which of course is great for the winter months (and amazing food therapy when you have a cold), but I will even get pho in the heat of the summer because it is THAT good, I just have to have my fix! They also have delicious cream cheese wontons, and their chicken teriyaki is super tasty. I usually can't finish the pho or teriyaki in one sitting, which is fine for me to have leftovers for another meal! Sadly I just moved to Port Orchard, but my husband still works in Silverdale- so I'll have him call in an order on his way out of work, and have him pick it up on his way home :) I know it may not look like much, but this family owned restaurant is more than meets the eye, and your taste buds will thank you for giving it a try! read more
