The perfectly preserved railcar diner (even down to the original refrigerator and clock on the wall) is only one of a few dozen still operating as a diner out of the hundreds that built by the Worcester Lunch Car Co. in the 1940s and 1950s. Maria Kitidis Mackay and her father George bought the diner in January 2020 and one or both of them are usually working the griddle daily.. as they were when I recently visited. I recently stopped in for breakfast two days in a row while visiting friends in Concord and the food was excellent both times. On my first visit, I had the two-egg platter ($8) with a unique Greek loukaniko sausage (+$7). The next day, I had the same platter with traditional pork sausage links (+$3). Both platters came with home fries and toast, and everything was incredibly fresh, hot, and really tasty. My dining companion also thoroughly enjoyed her meals and the classic diner ambiance. She tried the Florentine benedict ($14), which came topped with perfectly sautéed spinach and tomato, and on the next visit went with the spinach and feta omelet ($13). Our servers stopped by a few times to ensure everything was good. The only minor disappointment we experienced was that our servers didn't offer to refill our coffee, but otherwise, it was a fantastic visit. Maybe I should have asked? It is a terrific experience all around. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want great food, unique history, and a classic diner atmosphere! Even taking away a 1/2 star for our coffee snafu, it's still a solid 4.5 stars for the overall experience -- rounded up to 5 stars. PRO TIP: Bring cash. Wilson's does not accept credit cards.

So i came onto Yelp just just to write my review of this place. So i came in with my buddy around 3am with with extreme munchies. having heard alot of things about this place and people going here drunk i was compelled to give it a try. I came in and the waitress was pretty nice but looked a bit like she had done too many hard drugs. The greek owner guy looked bored and kind of pissed off. The greek lady in the back making the food seemed like the person you would want to make your food, but as i got my potatoes there was a big clump of greasy greek person hair. Not to mention the entire other room was encompassed by a bunch of ghetto gangster wannabe assholes screaming and acting rediculous. I will never come here again, it was a terrible experience and a waste of time. By the way everything was GREASY GREASY GREASY almost as much as the HAIR IN MY FOOD. Fuck this place. read more

I did not have a complaint with the food, but the service was beyond sucked. The waitress tried to take our order before we were ready so we asked for a few more minutes. Then rude "fat ass" came to the table and asked to take our order and before we could even speak he said, "I ain't got all day." Heidi's is a fantastic place! Its breakfast menu is varied, featuring home fries and omelets. They also have grits, which are excellent. Lunch is also available, with sandwiches and burgers and soups. Both are available at all times. The people are friendly and polite. read more

My burger came and I ordered it medium rare and it was well done. I sent it back to be refired to the proper temp and while I waited I ate the tater tots. I expected a $2 upcharge to be at least fresh garlic but it was garlic powder. On top of that, when I finished the tots(before the second burger) there was a pool of oil at the bottom of the basket plus 2 pools that leaked onto the table. The refired burger came back via a food runner, not a manager, and this burger was also not medium rare but I was hungry so I ate it. When we let Hannah know about the out l oil she explained that they regularly are cleaning up oil and not to worry about it. I'll be going to the Muffin House down the road from now on.
