I bought a new mazda 3 hatchback in November 2012. It took almost 6 hours to get out the door for a loan that was easily approved. That's fine I can deal with that . The first problem I noticed is I was missing floor mats. Went through hell getting those. One manager said , "go down to the dealer, we will take care of you" ... So I did . 3 hours after sitting around , another manager says " oh that manager is off today, I can't honor your request". 5 phone calls later , my fiancée got them to finally give us some, which were completely used and worn. Keep in mind, I had referred a friend to buy a Mazda 3 from John Hein two weeks after I bought mine !! This is where it really gets good !! My first oil change, I pull my car into garage and notice a huge pool of oil , that's fresh ! I drive it back down there and they tell me that it's normal for oil to spill over the fill cap and make puddles on your floor! Have they heard of a funnel?? My second oil change was a week ago, and against my better judgement I decided to give them one last chance , and 30 mins after I'm driving it tire pressure warning light comes on, and I find out that when they rotated my tires they did not reset the tire pressure system ... What a nightmare this place has been for me !!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING YOUR MAZDA FROM ANOTHER DEALERSHIP! Don't let these guys get the best of you! read more

While the salesman was courteous, he was overly insistent on selling me an extended warranty, and the sales manager offered only a marginal discount on it. At the time, I thought little of it, attributing it to standard sales tactics. However, after just two weeks of ownership, my vehicle has been in the service department twice this week alone. I initially brought it in for a minor engine noise, which was not present during the test drive, suggesting a possible quick fix to resell the car. Unfortunately, I picked up the vehicle with a significantly louder noise. I called the dealership on my way home, but the service department had already closed. The following morning, I returned the car, only to be told by the technician that no noise could be heard. To add to my frustration, I was informed that during their initial inspection, the dealership discovered electrical issues with the vehicle that were not disclosed at the time of purchase. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and has left me questioning the integrity of this dealership. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and the condition of the vehicle sold to me. Amazing experience...but I had to kiss a few frog dealers before I found my Mazda Prince! The team at John Hine Mazda in Temecula has changed my mind about car shopping. They made the purchase of my new 2018 Mazda CX-5 a dream come true. Their internet manager, Garrett was responsive, honest and provided full-discloser. I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Mazda of Temecula. After driving over an hour and a half for a scheduled appointment to see a 2024 CPO vehicle, we were told that the car was having mechanical issues upon arrival. This was frustrating, as we had expected to see the vehicle ready for a test drive. They hadn't bothered to even attempt to review the vehicle till we arrived. We then spent about 20 minutes browsing other options, but nothing met our needs. When we finally selected another model, we were informed it couldn't be shown due to it being reconditioned. A total waste of our time, why would you show us vehicles we can't even see physically nor purchase. To make matters worse, the car we were shown was in disgusting condition and seemed overpriced. Ultimately, we walked away and purchased a Subaru next door, and we couldn't be happier with that decision. I cannot recommend Mazda of Temecula with good faith AT ALL! read more

This visit I needed a shuttle to a nearby shopping center because of unscheduled and unforeseen added service resulting in a longer wait time which she arranged promptly and happily.
