I requested the replacement of the glass in my back door and a basement. I was given an appointment 3 days later, arriving between 9-11 am. I told them that this is a house going up for sale and possibly no one would be there but that the back door is broken and unable to be be locked to just go in and then call me with any questions as I would be at work. At 11 the person I had waiting called and was told that it was 9-12. At 11:55 no one had shown up so he left. At 2 pm no one had called or fixed the window. When I called I was told the guys had arrived and the doors were locked and when they called I didn't answer. The office person was not helpful and kept putting me on hold. I will never use them or recommend them. They also need to realize that we can see on our cell phones if anyone has called. It's freezing outside, and I am still heating the outdoors. read more

Absolute worst customer service I've ever seen in any business and even poorer quality of work . Came in to replace windshield and they damaged my trim forgot to mention it to me and my windshield is full of water at the bottom. They admitted fault and refused to refund or replace. Corporate isn't any better they just say the Gm will call you it's been a month and still no refund no apology or anything. Needed to get my windshield replaced due to a large crack. They quoted me over the phone and offered mobile service (free!) or bring in my car 2 days later. Chose to bring it in as I live down the street. Finished in about 2 hours. PLUS they were able to remove my state & county park stickers and get it on to the new windshield with no issues ;) pretty cool. Glad I called here cuz they quoted me $100 less than Safelite! Didn't even know Henderson did auto glass! Highly recommend! read more

I needed a window replaced during the process of moving and turning my condo into a rental property. Henderson Glass made the process much easier by going to look at the window for free, giving an estimate, taking half the money as a deposit, ordering the window, then installing it and taking the other half the cost all over the phone. We made it in time for the rental inspection, the window looks great, and I never even had to be at the property which saved me so much time!! I definitely appreciate their flexibility! read more

We went to Henderson on Carpenter Rd. Ypsilanti for a back hatch window replacement. They kept the car for a week claiming they could not get a hinge and a washer. Finally, when I said forget, I'll just pick up the car, they miraculously said they could have it ready by 5:00 pm. At 5:02, they called me saying there was another issue - they broke the hinge on the other side of the window. As you can imagine, I expected them to cover the cost of what they broke, however, they said: "No, because it happens all the time". I called the corporate office manager, who said she'd talk to her boss and call me back. I'm still waiting! I have called my credit card company and they have removed the charge. DO NOT go here. Go to Safelite. BETTER SERVICE and they don't break things, and their workmanship is awesome!! read more

Scheduled mobile service because it was free. I was on another call when the tech called. He left a message he'd be there in 30 minutes. I needed to confirm that he was coming to my work and not my home (a mile difference). I called back in 5 minutes, no answer, voicemail not set up. I called 8 times and he never answered. I texted the number. Nothing. I finally called the main number and was told only that he was on to other customers. No explanation, no apology, lady is kinda snotty. Scheduled for a few days later between 10am and noon. Called the main number at 12:30 pm and was told he had "in-shop" customers to do before he could get to mine. Same snotty attitude. I cancelled. Tech called me at 2:40pm to say he was on his way. If communication is this bad, I don't have a lot confidence in a job done well. read more

I ended up with a chipped windshield after getting my first car wash in my brand new car (that's a whole 'nother review entirely), and I wanted it fixed ASAP as I was afraid it might spread. I called too many windshield repair that gave me ridiculous quotes, and I just wasn't interested in paying $100 for something so small. Then I found Henderson Glass. Henderson quoted $30 to repair my windshield! I was ecstatic, and more than willing to pay that price. I found myself paranoid after having to sign a waver stating that I would not sue Henderson Glass if the crack spread while they were repairing it, however my mind was partially eased by the kind workers who claimed it was rare. The whole repair took all of 20 minutes. I enjoyed the displays in their lobby/waiting area and chose to just stay there, but they are very close to a coffee shop and a shopping center in case you wanted to do something else. The chip is still visible, but I was told that ahead of time, and they did stop it from spreading. I did really want it to be completely invisible, which is why I've rated it four stars. Otherwise, Henderson Glass was a great experience. The employees were kind, and they got the job done for a decent price in great time. read more

I came to Henderson Glass because I had a chip in my windshield, so I found a Groupon for this business. The groupon was quite the deal, at 3x chips for $19 bucks. This review is only on a single experience so take it at that. I was very happy with the service, and while my car was being fixed up, I was able to simply cross the street and grab myself some Starbucks while I waited. The wait was only 20 minutes while my car windshield was sealed and made 'whole' again. After the fix, I can honestly say, that there is no visible damage of the chip, so I'm very very happy with the work. Now would I have gone in on a regular price fix? Probably not, but its good that the Groupon got me a sweet deal. read more

This place really helped me out. I had a problem installing a window screen that I purchased here. I went to the store to return the screen, the installer said he would come out to my Condo and help me put it in. He followed me home in his vehicle and installed the screen in 5 minutes and did not charge me anything. He was friendly and did not look down on me for not being able to put the screen in myself. I am a big fan and will come back if I need glass for my car, windows installed or a windshield repaired. read more

I called on a Saturday after having my windshield broken by a rock, and the lady I scheduled with was very sweet and sympathetic, and made sure she got me scheduled as soon as possible, as well as telling me what the total cost would be. I dropped it off Tuesday morning, and they had it done in about 1.5 hours. Terrible my window cracked from very edge in frame area for no reason. They told me i must have broke it in insulation 6 months ago. I had the best experience with Henderson glass! I had actually called a different Henderson glass (the one in southgate) and they were able to book me an appointment with the one in Ann Arbor. Then, they gave me all the information I needed to file a claim. It was the easiest procedure everything and not stressful at all! When the day came to install the glass, Rich was professional and timely. He called when he was 20 mins away and told me my quote right away. I recently used Henderson glass to replace a broken thermal pane sliding glass door window. They came out quickly measure the door and then order the materials. As promised it was in, in three weeks and they came out again very quickly called before they arrive so I could be ready for them. They installed the glass, cleaned up all around where they had to work and left in my home in good shape. The worst service, unprofessionalism (highly arrogant in addition). Ordered a few rectangular glass plates for my lab in the Hospital. After all, half of the hospital was laughing at what they made. It looks as if they do have an idea of what a straight angle is. Incorrect sizes. I asked them to remake two of such plates, but after a week it looks as they just returned the original ones. I took my car ,xke to henderson this morning it needed a new seal put in around the rear window I had the seal but needed the glass but in with the chrome trim.Chris did the work and did an excellent job.Bills back was bothering him so not in a very good mood.They charged me 150 dollars.
