Went to pick up my car after being told it was ready. Paid my uninsured motorist deductible went to go see the car and a whole panel was never even touched, still have paint damage and an obvious scrape. What's stupid is they circled everything damaged in green marker on white paint, it's pretty obvious not to mention they replaced a taillight that's literally touching the damaged area.... I understand mistakes happen, they are going to fix itntue damage. But not after trying to rip my insurance company off for $1000s more... They're saying that have to repaint the entire panel for a 2 square inch clear scuff... going to be 7-10 more days. They've already had the vehicle 28 days.. they admit they missed it, and it's a pretty obvious miss.... THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. My SUV got tapped in the parking lot of my job--no big deal. I decided to come here because I got my vehicle from Hendrick Lexus. It seemed like a good decision...I was wrong. A few days after getting it fixed, I noticed that the passenger door handle was loose on the outside. I looked at the paperwork and in fact, they took the door panel off when fixing the dent. I called and was told I could come in anytime between 9 and 6. I stopped by around 5:15 the next day and was told the techs leave at 5. So the manager, Craig, came out and spoke to me and said there was a tech available to fix it. I waited about an hour and it seemed like the issue was resolved. I was wrong. When I made it to my next destination, I realized now the door wouldn't lock!!! It would just make a funny noise when I pressed the button. So by this time, I'm annoyed. I called the next morning which was a Saturday to speak to the manager, who wasn't there. And I was told they don't do any services on the weekends, just drop offs and pick ups. I called the following Monday a few times to seek to Craig, however, he was always "in a meeting." I expressed my frustration and said I wanted a loaner car while my car was being fixed. When I came in for my appointment, I was asked if a loaner car had been already arranged. I had no idea...this is something they should know, not me. The Enterprise shuttle picked me up to take me to the nearby branch to get my loaner. I HAD TO WAIT ABOUT 45 MINUTES FOR A CAR!!!Enterprise didn't have any cars immediately available because THE COLLISION CENTER DIDN'T CALL IN MY RESERVATION UNTIL I ARRIVED FOR MY APPOINTMENT. By this time, I'm beyond frustrated! I get my car back the same day. Everything seems fine with it. A few days later, ANOTHER ISSUE occurs. My boyfriend goes to get out of the vehicle and the handle doesn't work at all!! He pulls and nothing happens. This took place on a Friday. I called Saturday, made yet another appointment, and left a message for Craig stating I wanted a call back. Monday afternoon rolls around and still no call back. When I arrived for my appointment Tuesday, I spoke to Craig and expressed my frustrations and concerns about the lack of communication and customer service provided throughout the process. His excuse for not calling me back...the beginning of the month is busy and he had to get payroll done. You have to be kidding me!! What type of awful excuse is that for you to tell a customer. Then he shifted the blame to the tech. Yes, the tech was completely at fault for not being able to get my door right the first or second time. However, the tech has nothing to do with him not calling me back. When I have to make THREE trips to their facility because of errors on their end, I expect some type of decency from management which is a courtesy call. I don't want to feel like I'm being avoided. They had our car from August till November. Not because of any shortages. Because they paint was wrong color. They forgot to put the metallic in it. Then you could see it running down the side. It was a front end collision. They put new headlights in the car but didn't put new bulbs in the headlights or turn signals. They put the broken bulbs back in. They forgot to put radiator fluid on the engine. Forgot to recharge the AC after replacing condenser. Do not use them. Horrible service, horrible work. The way they treated my wife was horrible & also the way I watched them treat others with same issues. Use anyone but them. Our vehicle still isn't correct. Take your vehicle to anywhere but them. The company hides behind text messaging and refuse to call customers to have difficult conversation about lengthy delays. My vehicle was promised to me 7 weeks ago! They have had it for 9 weeks, for a 10 day repair! Nine weeks. understand that delays happen, but this company cannot even give me a projection for a completion date. I recently had an accident and since I have purchased 8 vehicles from Hendrick I figured I'd use their body shop too. I had USAA list Hendrick Luxury Collision as my shop of choice. After finishing with the adjuster and getting the referral set up I contacted Hendrick to make an appointment to take my vehicle in. As soon as the lady answered the phone I knew I didn't like this place. I didn't catch the woman's name but she was the most rude and unprofessional person I'd ever dealt with at a Hendrick establishment. She couldn't be bothered by someone who had just had the front of their vehicle crashed in. Dealing with an accident is stressful and hard enough. If the customer service sucks before you even get the estimate or drop the vehicle off what's it going to me like when they have your vehicle torn apart? Needless to say I called USAA and changed body shops. I made an appointment to take my car here because they were Volvo-certified. I made the appointment a month in advance for a 9/3/2024 drop-off. As of today, October 2, 2024, my car is not repaired, and Hendrick Collison cannot tell me when it will be completed. Yes, they have had the car for a full month and the necessary parts for at least two weeks. According to the car app, THE CAR HAS NOT MOVED SINCE September 11. It's sitting outside the shop. Truly the worst body shop. Vehicle went in August 12. Picked it up today November 16 and it's still not correct. Forgot to re connect wire harness for windows. The drivers side window was cracked while it was a rainy day so car is flooded, refused to pick it up 2 other times because paint was bubbled & runny. Now another Hendrick dealership has told us they will only purchase our vehicle for a fraction of its value because of the cut frame. Along the way, Hendrick Luxury Collision they told us numerous things that were not true, refused to provide photos of the repairs that we requested, and continued to add costs without informing us. In many cases we could only find out what was going on with our vehicle by visiting the shop in person. They cost us months of aggravation and thousands of dollars in the value of our vehicle--doing repairs we never authorized and even specifically told them we did not want done. read more

Without a doubt the most dysfunctional, fragmented repair shop imaginable. Apparently, if your repair needs a part, then that is handled separately and there is an entirely different ordering process...which takes days. Poor communication the whole way through. All I needed was to have my side mirror replaced. It took 5 days to arrive somehow. In the meantime, the car got a flat tire and I was expected to figure out what to do...They actually wanted me to come out there physically and change/replace the tire before they could continue. Is this not their job that I could pay them for? I said to order a spare tire and they said it would take 3 days (really!?). Now, 7 days later it appears my car will be ready. I have never done business with this body shop prior to two recent fender benders. Years ago I always used a backyard repair guy and all was good. But now its harder to find those guys and it seems you have to deal with these larger guys...but I got lucky! I found Natalya...she is super professional, timely and communicated well. She sent me pictures of repair progress (I love it) and estimates on time. She communicated with the insurance company and her repair estimate came down to the nickel in agreement with the insurance! I am in construction and get up early. This place really doesn't open until 8 am or so but Natalya came in EARLY every time just to accommodate me! Based on other reviews from this site and others, I was skeptical, but I feel I stumbled across the one person who cared about their customers satisfaction...I will be back, IF I'm ever in another accident...but hopefully not any time soon! read more

This is, hands down, the WORST experience I have ever had, in any capacity. They're worse than Walmart. This is the second time I've had work done, & I really am an idiot for not learning after the first experience. My car has been there TWO MONTHS. I finally pick it up & realize on the way home that my back lights don't work, making it unsafe to drive. I called first thing in the morning on their next open day & they agreed to send a tow truck out to bring it back to the shop & find the problem, but failed to tell me I was supposed to ride with the tow truck to "see if they could figure out the problem that day". They KNOW I have two kids, because the girl on the phone heard me ask them to go play while I'm on the phone & asked me how old they were. Anyone with half a brain knows that kids can't ride in a tow truck. I also had about a minute warning before the tow truck arrived, so I'm not exactly sure how I should have arranged for childcare in that amount of time. They're refusing to pay for a rental so I can get to work today. All of this comes after numerous, numerous attempts to get an ETA on when my car will be ready. Tyler Billitier will NOT return your calls, voicemails, emails, anything. He's about as useful as a bra on a cow's udder. The day I was called to be told my car was finished & ready to be picked up, they told me I had a balance due. That's impossible, because I was rear ended & the insurance was paying for it. Come to find out, State Farm had informed them the day they did the inspection that $500 in damages was prior, unrelated damage (they were correct) & they weren't paying. Tyler called me the first week my car got there to inform me of said prior damage, so he was fully aware, just incompetent. So I asked if they fixed the damage by mistake, & that's why I was being charged. NOPE. They didn't fix it, but were still trying to collect. It took another 7 days after that of calling every day, multiple times per day, & getting no response back from Tyler before I finally got in touch with the body shop manager to rectify the problem. They then tried to blame State Farm, who was the ONLY reason the problem was fixed. Do. Not. Bring. Your. Car. Here. Ever. Oh!! Once we dropped the SUV off the service department called to let us know the cost was actually 3x original estimate. After negotiating we got it to 2x estimate. We were ill-advised, embarrassed publicly by their staff in front of the entire front office staff and customers (for no reason) and the best I got was an apology after turning my fiancee away without a rental car, nor taking the car in for repair. They insisted on using the insurance estimate (so they could make more money) and refused to do the work as an out-of-pocket repair. In the end, we wasted two trips to them, an hour's extra time, all for naught, only to be ridiculed by their staff. Bought a 2021 Trailblazer new in June and was involved in a front end collision at the end of September. Brought the car to the collision center at the end of October and was told it would be done at the beginning of November. After getting the run around from Natalya for 3 months, we were told that it was scheduled for paint end of January. 1 week later I stopped in to check on the status and was shown the car in the back with no front tires, no engine, at least an inch of dust (someone in the shop had actually written WASH ME on the window) and no repairs done. I was informed by Justin that it would be going on the frame machine "hopefully" by the next day. That was 2 weeks ago. I stopped in today to find out that it still has not been put on the frame machine because there were 3 cars on the frame machines that could not be taken off and they did not have the parts to fix them. I have never experience the level of dishonesty and incompetence that I have found dealing with these people. The two times that I have been in Natalya has not even had the guts to come out and face me in person. My wife emailed her 2 days ago looking for an update and Natalya told her that she would get back to her when the tech came back from lunch, but she never replied. Oh and let's not forget to add that they were paid in full by the insurance company back in January. I don't know the man but I would expect that Rick Hendrick would not be happy with the way is name is being represented by this collision center. I've been driving for over 30 years and along the way had a couple of accidents but I've never seen the gross negligence and lack of proactive communication in the face of a mass repair delay from a business as I did Hendricks. I'll highlight my experience: + Car accident in early November (8th I believe) + Given to Hendricks 4 days later + Hendricks didn't even move it to their lot until 5 days after that + Hendricks took 1 month (December 14th) before doing a evaluation and notifying the insurance company about the damage cost. + Over 2 months three different agents played ping pong to answer my calls on the status of the car. Only one person took some actual ownership of the vehicles update + Car was supposed to be completed by early January but was delayed multiple times until I received it on February 10th. + They blamed the insurance company (USAA) for the delay but the insurance company said they had been paid a month before it was ready. + The front desk ladies were both snarky and aloof when I came to pick up the car. Overall I would try anyone BUT Hendricks again. I'm only giving one star b/c the guy who gave me the car gave me a good walk through and the car was fixed. However, the 2+ month it took to fix the car were massively frustrating. Stay away! read more

I had to return to the repair shop twice because the repair was not up to par. There is still a loud noise that was not there before or after the accident. Nightmare. Rude staff and manager. Had my car STOLEN from their back parking lot after I dropped it off to be fixed. Very clear that employees were to blame as they knew where my car was and had access to my key fob. Manager denied any wrong doing. Had to file a police report. I Dropped the car off on a Friday morning. Company informed me on Wednesday morning that my car was stolen while their staff attested to the police in their police report that they noticed it gone from the the lot two days ago on Monday. It took them two days to inform me my car was stolen from their lot. While I thought they were calling me to tell me the car was fixed and ready for pick up, they called me to tell me it had been stolen on the previous Friday. The thieves abandoned the car on the middle of North Charleston and it had to be towed. I received a bill from the tow company a week or so later and that's how I finally found my car. Manager offered no apology at all. Still had to get he car fixed after all of that. Went to caliber collision right down the street. They were honest, professional and dependable. read more
