Tribes coffee house is a place that is tucked away from the traditional tourist hot spots, across from a movie theatre. Tribes is all about local! Personal counter service and ample seating, the menus is a mix of New Mexico and Mexico cuisine. They make a tasty Migas and their coffee game is strong. Also, helped that Tribes is opened on New Years Day!

This coffee was absolutely tasty. I ordered a large, hot, white chocolate mocha with whipped cream on top and it was absolutely perfect. My attendant really took her time making it for me and even gave me extra whipped cream on top. You could taste the coffee in it. Made to perfection. Additionally, I got the pecan coffee cake. It was delicious but a little dry. This place is affordable and has indoor and outdoor seating. I came just before they closed and it seemed to be chill and clean. When in Santa Fe, I will be here!

I'm a student at a local college, and tribes is the go-to spot for an oat milk lavender latte and feta omelette. I come here all the time with my friends to sit and do homework, and the art all over the walls feels like a hidden gallery. The servers are always super nice, and while they make take some time preparing food or drinks, it's always worth the wait.

Lavender Latte with a sweet treat!

I was in need of an afternoon pick-me-up, so I popped in Tribes for a coffee and something sweet. The atmosphere was comfortable, the staff friendly, and my Lavender Latte was just what I needed. By the time I finished my treat, I decided to take food home! I ordered a pasta bowl, a beef fajita burrito, and a chicken fajita burrito. Everything was seasoned to perfection and enjoyed by my family. Here, I thought I was just grabbing a coffee and ended up taking home dinner. I will be back to test the breakfast menu.

Descent quality of food here but not so much for customer service. Expect at least half an hour if not more for your order to be made. Menu is quite expansive compared to the size of the restaurant[. They also sell various forms of art. Overall the place is clean and enough space to sit both indoor and outdoor: the Dodd quality is average four prices are a bit on the higher end. I got the breakfast burrito and it was delicious expect it was soaked in green Chile sauce and dripped all over.

Great food, coffee & customer service. Comfortable atmosphere!

My go to when in Santa Fe. The coffee is good, the service is good, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I have always been pleased with the food I have ordered.

Absolutely wonderful staff and delicious food! The best cinnamon roll I have eaten in a long time. Bottomless coffee and hot tea! Plenty of outside seating and indoor seating spaced far apart. Local artists' work for sale. SUPPORT LOCAL!

Had a large mocha, which was good. The biscotti looked sinfully good, but didn't try it. Loved the local art, too.

The employees/baristas and customers were so friendly here! I'm from San Diego and was visiting Santa Fe for a week with my family. I tried to sample many of the coffee shops in town and this one stood out for its friendly service and warm atmosphere, plus quality coffee. I ordered the horchata latte and it was delicious! However, it didn't seem very strong coffee-wise (I believe my latte had two shots of espresso?), so I had to come back like an hour later to get a second one to satisfy my caffeine needs. The breakfast/brunch options looked amazing and were reasonably priced, but during our stay we did not end up eating here...we simply ran out of time! The space is within a shared work building right off the street, walkable from where we were staying and close enough to walk to the Plaza. I enjoyed walking here on a few mornings and getting the feel of what it might be like to be a local in town, while scanning the many clothing and other types of shops along the way. Overall I'd recommend this coffee shop for friendly vibes and yummy coffee drinks...but next time I'd add an extra shot to my latte.

There were a lot of customers with their laptops and tablets enjoying the free wifi. They have a limited coffee menu when compared to Starbucks, but who needs that many choices. I enjoyed drinking coffee from a ceramic mug instead of a paper cup. They have a really large roaster right next to the seating area. Just which I could have seen it in action.

Cafecito has been showing up on my reels and it looked like the kind of special I wanted. Just a few steps away from the Railyards, this place seems to be in its own island, in a quiet corner. The place is simple in decoration, with lots of plants, plenty of natural light, and a cozy vibe. The manager or owner greeted us. We started special the right way . Staff took a little longer than I expected to take our order (or I may have been veeeery hungry). However, our order came quite quick! The hubby ordered the Santa Fe and Carne Empanadas with lentil soup. I ordered the Gaucho to get some range. The empanadas were quite good and tasty. They were on the medium size, well packed with protein, with a nice and soft pastry. The Santa Fe had very fragrant green chiles and good seasoning on the chicken. The Carne had an amazing taste on the wagyu with a bit of spice and sweet with those peppers. The lentil soup was thick and tasty with every spoonful. The Gaucho, unfortunately, was not as successful as the empanadas. The sourdough was thinly sliced and perfectly toasted, pairing well with the butter and quince jam. The provolone and tomatoes were confusing, but they were well portioned. The eggs were fluffy and ok, nothing to die for, just well executed. The flank steak relied a lot on the chimichurri, which added great acidity, but without it, the steak did not have its own seasoning or flavor. It was satisfying, but the visuals tricked me into thinking it was going to blow my mind. Overall, this is a nice space to hang with friends for a special occasion and enjoy some tasty options. I'm interested in returning to try other things. I like when a place sparks my curiosity.

The minute we walked into this coffee shop, we were kindly greeted by everyone working. Then, we were given a sample of their caramel sauce that is house made. Apparently, a majority of their syrups and sauces are made in house which is a PLUS. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with caramel drizzle. I've been to a lot of coffee shops and dare i say that this was the BEST VANILLA LATTE i've ever had! We sat outside (they have outdoor and indoor seating which is nice). We had accidentally spilled some coffee, thankfully Kagome was so SWEET and HELPFUL, she immediately came to clean up the mess. Thank you again Kagome! The girl at the register was really friendly. They had brewed coffee ready in a thermos, and when I asked if it was fresh, she let me taste it first, which I appreciated.
