Out of a couple companies that quoted me for either repipe or reroute, Repipe & Water Heater 4 Less seem to have a better price overall. Most companies recommend I should repipe it because the age of the house (36-year-old house) but since this my first water leak, I take my chance and choose to reroute it instead. Geroge from Repipe & Water Heater 4 Less is the one that talked to, very nice guy, answer all my questions, and concern, and Oleg is plumber that do the hot water line reroute at my house, very thorough guy, he makes sure every pipe correctly installed, double check all his work, and makes sure no leak before he patch up the drywall, he patched and texture my drywall make it look like it never been cut out before, he even patched and texture two of the drywall that cut out by the other leak detector company without charge me extra. Overall, I do like their work, their price seem more reasonable and affordable than others. I would highly recommend Repipe & Water Heater 4 Less to anyone whose need to repipe or reroute their water pipe or any kind of plumbing need.

I explained my need and she said he would be able to come by that afternoon. She even texted me to let me know he was still coming but had run into lots of traffic. When he arrived, I showed him the broken hose bid. He quoted me a price (WAY BETTER THAN I ANTICIPPATED), went to work and had it done in 10 minutes. Georgi is an honest plumber with integrity and honesty that is rare in this business. I will use him again for my water heater and another valve that needs to be repl;aced. Had a sudden shower leak in an upstairs bathroom on a Sunday night. Water flooded our kitchen…read morethrough the ceiling .I called Carmel Valley Plumbing and spoke with Jeff Monday morning. Jeff came out immediately that morning, identified the leak and initiated repairs. Knowing we would have to file a claim with our homeowners insurance because of the moisture damage on both floors, Jeff then began to perform mitigation of the wet drywall in the bathroom and our downstairs kitchen. He was very efficient and took all the necessary photos and wrote up his report for submission to our insurance company to open a claim for reimbursement. Within about four hours everything was sealed off and dryers were in place for the next 72 hours. The entire time Jeff was in constant contact with myself and my wife Guiding us through the steps we needed to file our claim. He also worked with our insurance company adjuster. We were able to get 100% of our cost for repairs covered because of his effectiveness getting the proper documentation to our insurer. Without hesitation if I ever need any kind of plumbing work in the future, CARMEL Valley Plumbing is on my speed dial. I cannot recommend them enough. Honest, excellent service skills, straight shooter, very fair pricing. I had used Carmel Valley Plumbing once before in the past regarding a drop in water pressure to my house. A service rep from ASI Heating and Plumbing told me I had to cut a mainline and replace a shut-off and a pressure regulator valve. The estimate was almost $1500!. On a recommendation of a neighbor, I called CVP and Jeff came to my house. In 15 minutes he did an inspection of the lines and valves. Explain to me his in process the entire time. Jeff then went outside to the side of the house and turned open a water valve.....lo and behold my water pressure was back to normal again. Apparently our gardener or someone must have partially closed the valve. He saved me from a very expensive and unnecessary repair! More important to note is that Jeff did not charge me anything for his 15 minutes of time and his service call. That's the type of company Carmel Valley Plumbing is. High integrity and very fair. Later on I learned how many of my neighbors have used Carmel Valley Plumbing at their homes. All with the same positive results. In my opinion, you are taking your chances using anyone else

It would be hard to detect where the leak was located so Bob had me call a leak detection service and they narrowed down the location. Unfortunately, the leak was under the concrete and couldn't be accessed via an easier route which was his preferred method which he checked first. Bob's professional and you don't have to worry about price gouging. Oh, while he was out, I had him replace our pressure regulator as well. He's an independent contractor so you're not paying for a dispatcher, a company brick and mortar location, and other people up some business chain. He got back with me promptly with my inquiry as well as the repair but just remember that he's one person and is doing everything himself including getting the supplied needed for the job. I've seen some other reviews that complained about appointment times but I'd rather hire Bob and know that I'm going to get good service and pricing than wonder if I'm going to get a fair price.

A skilled plumber with great customer service…read more I had an obvious slab leak. Detection was not an issue for me. I turned to Yelp to find a plumber. I found three that were fairly close and high ratings. Two of the three were fairly well known throughout the San Diego area (advertise often) the other guy said he could not come for several days. I return to yelp, call the next several highly rated plumbers. ReNew was the first to return my call. I had made arrangements for estimates from all three. The first two that came out were very good salesmen, one even had a contract in front of me before he was done assessing the solution. ReNew came and unlike the others ReNew is a plumber. He spent some time assessing both the situation, and more importantly, the solutions. After he was done he explained the repair options (in plumbing there is usually more than one solution to consider) we discussed the impact and benefit of each. After I made my decision on how to proceed with a repair, and discussing his availability he told me he would put together an estimate and e-mail it to the next day, then left, without a sales pitch, up sell, or any other kind of added stress. Later that night I received and estimate that was very competitive. Needless to say I chose ReNew to complete the repair (a hot water re-route). The job took a couple of days (as discussed). They completed the work with minimal destruction to my walls, even corrected some code discrepancies that have existed since the house was built. A few days after the repair was completed Renew came back to check on the repair and fix a couple of issues (un related to my repair). Hot water is now re-routed with better flow than before, no leaks. It was a pleasant surprise to get professional, competent courteous service. There are lots of new products, and technologies in plumbing these days. There is also a great deal of sales strategies being used as well, talk with them before you make any decision. So, If you need a skilled "plumber" and want great customer service call ReNew.
