OK, let me start out by saying I have earned my Yelp! Elite status 2 years in a row due to my writing skills ( I believe ) and it is not reflective of the places I frequently visit. I primarily enjoy eating pizza and have written around 30 reviews for different pizza places in my town and along with all my other reviews I receive high marks all around. I am not a culinary critic or master and I am DEFINITELY not a food snob, so I cannot critique what I really don't know and truth be told I like my food plain and simple. That being said I was invited to a VIP reception at Henry's Steakhouse at the RedHawk Casino along with my Aunt and I really didn't expect much cos I thought it would be an average dinner at a run-of-the-mill place. WHOA! WAS I WRONG ON ALL COUNTS. This was my first experience at a casino and I really enjoyed it ( and even made a little money at the slot machines ) but the restaurants, OH OMG, the RESTAURANTS looked delightful and when we got to Henry's reception the food was not only FIRST-CLASS ALL THE WAY but it was expertly, exquisitely prepared as well. They gave us a buffet-style menu chock-full of expertly prepared dishes that were a feast not only for the eyes but for the senses too. Poached salmon, creamed brussel sprouts, yummy Beef stroganoff and other things I don't even know what to name, but the DESSERTS were another highlight and that is where I spent most of my time. Eclairs, homemade danishes, brownies, chocolate cake, chocolate covered strawberries, creme brulee, etc. WHEN THEY SAID VIP THEY REALLY MEANT IT. I even had to ask for a non-alcoholic beverage ( they were taken aback by that! ) according to my specifications and the service! They would take your plate away and clean up after you right as you left the table and went back for more. They were all so courteous and their attention to the customer was superb. I spoke to one of the managers there ( a fine fellow named Nicholas ) and he showed me the usual menu and I saw all the great things that a usual top-notch steakhouse would serve, all at standard top-notch prices. This place is pretty darn good and I'll write an update when I come here to sit down for my Bone-In Ribeye steak dinner. Otherwise, you can't go wrong here! read more

Dined with a group last night and it took so long! At the end, just wanted to get out of there. Half eaten plates go unnoticed by the staff. 5 star prices, 2 star service. Food was just ok for the price we paid. We averaged about $125 a person w/ apps, dinner and drinks. Between the 7 of us, everyone except 1 person had steak. We all agreed that a Steak from Mortons or Ruth's Chris would have been much better for paying the same price. Believe it or not, one person in our party ordered the pork chops and they were to die for. If I was to go back, I'd get the pork chops, tempura asparagus, cauliflower and broccoli au gratin and the wedge salad. read more

This was our 6th year of coming to Henry's on Christmas Day for a dinner with reservations for a party of 8 and a private room. Up to last week we always gave 5 stars. But things changed, and disappointment meant we lowered this year's rating. We got there ahead of our reservation start time and were asked to wait, and wait, and wait for nearly an hour and a half before we could be seated. We were told when we asked the desk staff that another party had that room ahead of us, and the restaurant could not tell them and would not tell them that our party was waiting. By then, frankly, I was ready to leave and do something else anywhere else. That wait resulted in the waiter telling us about the menu, and the 4 different entrees that we couldn't have. That's because by that time everyone else was seat in the other parts of the restaurant and orders were taken and they ran out of food for those items. Then we made choices of what was left and asked to substitute a couple of sides like asparagus instead of the chef-mandated turnips. Yuk. Who wants to eat turnips with a $56 bone-in ribeye that my wife and I shared? But when the bill came, we saw we'd been charged $4 and $8 for various substitutions. But the waiter had failed to tell us about the "upcharge" cost we'd be paying for. I don't need a chef who doesn't know me or what I want to force a menu on me and then charge me for a subsitution because we are doing what....ruining his menu? He or she is ruining my meal by forced menu items at ridiculous high pricing. The waiter to his credit did take off the upcharges. But these and other things made the evening much less than previous years. I just don't know if I'll bother to drive that far any more for this odd type of result. Maybe if I learn to like turnips and beets before next year I might change my mind?? read more

This restaurant fails to impress on just about every level. We had heard rumors about the long delays in service and boy were they true. After being seated we didn't receive our meal until 1 1/2 hours after our order was taken. Now this is supposed to be an upscale high quality steak house so that wasn't too much of a concern at the time because your not expecting it to be fast food obviously but this was ridiculous even under fine dining standards. What was really amazing is that there had to be over thirty wait staff on duty and still we were neglected. When our steaks finally arrived one of them was well done when it was ordered medium rare. They took it back and twenty minutes later they returned saying it would be another fifteen minutes. At that point we said forget it, give us the check and we left. Overall it's trying to be something it's not which is a fine dining steak house when in reality it's a glorified Applebees. Very loud, terrible service and overpriced. The food is good but you better be prepared to wait and don't be surprised if your food isn't prepared as you ordered it. Once was enough for me, we'll never go back. read more

So let me start by saying - this place is ok - but when rating an establishment of this cost and style - I have higher expectations than rating something cheaper and low key. That being said - 3 stars seems just about right for our experience at Henry's last night (Valentine's Day). First - I hate that you have to walk through the casino to get to the restaurant. I know that this is well planned by the casino folks- but it is a bit of a strike against them for the "ambiance" bit. Especially on a busy night like last night where the buffet line literally blocked the entrance to this lovely steakhouse. Smoke, noise and all sorts of strange characters - probably not a way to set a Valentine's mood. The bar area was nice and the drink I had was good, albeit overpriced. Once we were seated we were pleased with the surroundings and atmosphere. Nice comfortable tables & booths and an okay noise level for such a busy night. But it was FREEZING! I'm not a small girl - and I don't get cold easy - but it was cold. Bring a jacket. So let's get to the important stuff - food & service. The start: The waiter greeted us (sort-of) and didn't even bother to offer to pour our wine we had sitting on the table. Strike #1 Then we had about 15 minutes to look at the menu before we saw him again. Strike #2 Then when the 1st appetizer we ordered (abalone) arrived it was over cooked to the point that you could not even get a fork or knife into it. It was as hard as a rock. Strike #3 Things were not looking so good. Second act: Crab cake came. To die for. Fabulous. Excellent. Wonderful. The best crab cake I've ever had. Big, full of wonderful succulent king crab. Perfect crust on the outside, great flavor throughout. The highlight of our meal! The Main Event - the steak: First let's talk about the menu. If you want steak here - you have lots of choices. But only if you want a HUGE steak. Most of these cuts were 14 oz plus. Some as big as 26 oz. I prefer a good steak - not a giant steak. So we were limited to a couple choices on the steaks. My husband went for the Steak Au Poivre which was excellent. Cooked perfect, nice peppercorn flavor, tender and juicy. I went for the prime rib which was yet another low point of our meal. The meat was chewy and dry. The flavors were there - but the meat was too tough to truly enjoy. The Mac & Cheese we ordered as a side was dry and had very little flavor. This was the first time we've ever left a pile of Mac & Cheese uneaten at a restaurant like this. Hard to believe. So - to sum up the evening. Atmosphere - 3.5 stars Service - 3 stars (he got much better after a rough start) Food - inconsistent - some 1 star (abalone) some 5 star (crab cake) Total bill with 2 steaks, 1 appetizer, 1 side of mac & cheese, corkage and coffee - about $150.00 So the overall experience leaves me a little disappointed for the price - hence the 3 star rating. The best part of our evening was the wine (which we brought!) We won't be back and wouldn't recommend to friends unless already going to the casino to gamble. I've been to Henry's a couple times now. It's definitely a decent place and worth the venture into Red Hawk to have a meal there. My boyfriend and I had dinner here the other night. We're foodies. We travel a lot for my job, and eat in restaurants across the country. We look young, we're never too dressed up and typically, pretentious fancier restaurants make a judgement call and treat us like crap accordingly. Not here though and it was refreshing. We had made a reservation, and were seated as soon as we arrived. Service was EXCELLENT. Seriously - hats off to the staff. The menu is decent, nothing too crazy. We had the filet, it was cooked perfectly according to my man. I had the King Crab legs, they were HUGE and good, but could have been a bit fresher. The shrimp scampi appetizer came to us severely undercooked the first time, so we had it sent back. The second time it was cooked a little more, but the shrimp was still transparent and glassy in the middle - definitely not done. We gave up after that and just continued to our salads. Overall, a slightly above average dining experience. We'll go back. If only the night didn't end up costing so much more than the menu price...because of my slight penny slot addiction. ;) read more

From the moment my fiance and I walked in, the service was impeccable! The food was with out a doubt delish! We started with the butternut squash raviolis (divine) as and appetizer and shared a salad. I had the 10oz filet and it was THE BEST I've ever had, my fiance had the bone-in Ribeye and he said the same. We actually requested steak sauce prior to our steaks arriving but after taking a bite we both agreed that no steak sauce was needed...that's how good they were...cooked and flavored to perfection! We picked the sauteed spinach, baked sweet potato and mac n' cheese as our sides, all were great! We can't wait to go back to try some of their other sides ;-) Lastly I'll just say this...my fiance and I love a great steak. Just 3 weeks prior we had dinner at Morton's however after eating at Henry's we both agree that without a doubt Henry's was by far THE BEST of the two. Not to mention that at Morton's our bill was nearly $200 (totally over priced) and at Henry's our bill was a little over $115 which was well worth it in our opinion! read more

Went here for my girlfriends birthday on christmas. Fine dining price was reasonable and service was excellent. U know theyre fancy when they serve u water out of a glass bottle. Food was mediocre i ordered a 20oz prime rib medium but it came out a little too rare. The spinach dip was kinda bland but mac and cheese and the mash potatoe was good and fancy. Average Steakhouse is the best description. Henry's misses the mark when it tries to be overly creative on certain dishes. Exhibit 1: Asian Pear and Endive Salad with Goat Cheese. The presentation was amateurish and impractical. Picture pieces of pear and leaves of endive speared into a long piped row of soft goat cheese. This is your "salad". If it had tasted even remotely good, I may have overlooked this frightful presentation.....but unfortunately it did not. The pomegranate dressing barely dressed the salad and did not stand up to the endive's assertive nature. Exhibit 2: Mashed Potatoes with Chive Butter. Fairly tasty, but again the presentation was odd. A small cast iron skillet of mashed potatoes with a tennis ball sized orb of wasabi-colored chive butter nestled in the middle. We had to ask what it was. Again it tasted fine, but it was hard to get beyond the strange presentation. My steak itself (6oz Filet Mignon) was tender and had a smoky grilled flavor. Additionally, the sauteed spinach was very good though slightly under seasoned. A nice surprise was the generous pour given on wines by the glass. Overall, the service was fine, the prices reasonable, and the food average to disappointing at best. read more

Steaks! Prime rib! This steakhouse ages their meats for 35 days. As you know aged beef is expensive but well worth the price. The waste from having to trim the full side/roast/ slab makes the cost per pound go up. Nevertheless the steaks and prime rib is worth the drive. We are steakhouse freaks and we drove the three hours to go. Make reservations in advance. The service is equal to the quality if the food. Our server told us they were behind and the time expectation making the wait tolerable. Top notch service from everyone. They were not intrusive yet anticipated our needs. My family and I have been patrons of Henry's Steak House in the Red Hawk Casino since Red Hawk first opened. Compared to other fine-dining establishments in Sacramento and the outlying areas, we have found Henry's to be the most cozy, elegant, inviting and enjoyable of all! When you first go downstairs in the casino and enter Henry's, the Hostess, Kimberly, welcomes you with a wan smile and usually the bartender or another employee opens the door to welcome you into Henry's. The seating is amazing! When Kimberly escorts you to your table or booth, you will genuinely feel the excitement of what's to come! Kimberly is very gracious and kind. If the manager, Richard, is not busy, he will greet you as well!! The biggest impression I have about the staff at Henry's, is their smiles, and that is the first, most important impression I receive from Richard and Kimberly! The staff in Henry's is very alert. Water and delicious bread with butter is promptly brought to your table. It's amazing that you won't hear any of the sounds from the casino.....other than other patrons dining, the only sound is soft music or your own conversations. The servers are all excellent! Our favorite is an Italian gentleman, Nick. My family always requests Nick, because he has made my Mom's dining experience wonderful since the beginning! Nick is very polite, clean, kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable about all the available options, and if you have questions, want recommendations, Nick is excellent in giving good suggestions! For the first time this last visit, I tried the Marsala Chicken (served with mashed potatoes and wonderful mushrooms)....ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! My Mom always orders the lobster tail, and it has always been cooked to perfection. Henry's steaks, salmon, halibut, scallops are wonderful too!! I want to try everything on Henry's menu!! The incredible Chefs in Henry's are visible from some of the tables and booths, which is very impressive, as you may see the Chefs preparing some of the courses. I have been to many steak houses, and always return to Henry's. The quality and taste of the dining options are mouth-watering! The ambiance, smell and decor within Henry's makes it a wonderful experience. The prices are competitive, but I must say, not to be critical of another dining establishment, but Henry's is 100% better than Thunder Valley's Highs Steak House. Henrys offers the same sides as Highs (potatoes, mushrooms, vegetables, etc) and Henry's prices are better for the sides. Actually, Henry's sides are tastier. EVERYTHING in Henry's is tastier!! Let me talk about dessert!! Elegant, superbly tasty!!! The presentation of Henry's desserts is fabulous!! The cheesecake is soooooo yummy!!! If you have leftovers to take home, Henry's packages it for you and it has a very nice bag with handles to carry home. As we walk out of Henry's, someone always opens the door for us, and both Richard and Kimberly are there to thank us and say good night. It means so much!! The first thing I have to say about entering this steak house was the "BEAUTIFUL" tasting room, situated right in sight through the doors! You have to check it out, well stocked and a good example of the type of tasting room I need! So I am munching on some leftovers from "HENRY'S" and I just have to tell you it is one of the best steak houses in Placerville or THE BEST one for that matter. I believe this is the first time in over 15 years I have stopped anywhere in this town. Since this is a new spot and really off the grid location but I am sure for all you gamblers out there RedRock Casino is where this place is located in. I had Lobster Bisque, 24oz bone in Rib Eye, Crab Cakes, Wild Mushrooms, Spinach, Potatoes, Oysters on a Half Shell, and Mac n Cheese! All were above good and the 28 days aged steak was awesome but I think Medium Well is better suited for me. I had Medium and on a steak this thick, I mean it was perfectly cooked, but I like it slightly more. I will return here again and have to say it was just great to find somewhere the food is good on this side of town. read more

Horrible customer service. The attendant at the front (Kimberly) was rude and her manager was clueless. We waited an hour and 15 mins at the bar for our "reservation" only to be told we had to wait another 15 minutes then "maybe" a table would be ready for us. We left and didn't return. Two years later and the service hasn't improved. This time our waiter was Patrick and he was busy waiting on his large tables and ignoring us. My husband ordered the blue cheese wedge and the lettuce was not a quality head of lettuce. The only edible leaves were the exterior layers. For his entree he ordered the boneless ribeye which he said was very good and tender but it was undercooked. As a side he ordered the asparagus. I ordered the smoked lamb bacon and heirloom salad and it was delicious. I also ordered the chefs cut of meat which came with gratin potatoes and creamed spinach which was also very good. Considering this is a upscale steakhouse and the prices are not cheap, we feel that the service should be much better. Since I last posted, we returned to Henry's and had much better service. Nice quiet service. We went early on a Sunday and they accepted the fact that we weren't dressed nicely and had a 3 year old in tow (he's good guyz, this mama came prepared). We had the prime rib bruschetta as an app. Tasty but hard to cut through without a steak knife. The beef was not tender and just a teeny bit chewy. The kiddo had the crispy salmon over wild rice. Everything went together well but was terribly under seasoned. All I tasted was Meyers lemon and cream. I had to add a bunch of salt. I had the prime rib medium rare. It was a touch too red for me but I ate around and took it to go for another meal (I ate my son's meal). The meat didn't come with horseradish sauce thought it said on the menu so I had to ask. It was also under seasoned. So I plan to salt the crap out of it. I also got the mushroom medley. Love the morels! But needed taste. Other steak houses know what's up, sautéing in garlic butter wine and herbs. I had to pick up the salt shaker again. BD had the ribeye steak. He said his was good and he chose two different sauces that he liked. He said his meat was seasoned well. He ordered a side of Mac and cheese. That was delicious. Doesn't reheat well so finish it there so you don't see all the butter that went in it. For dessert: creme brûlée and cheesecake. Creme brûlée was a little bit of a disappointment. Could be a personal taste thing but it was missing that sweet cream taste. And the sugar was bitter. But my son loved cracking the top with a spoon. The sauce on the cheesecake was LOVELY. I wish they poured more over it. The cheesecake was generous and it seemed more cheesecake than sauce. I wanted to ask for more of it. My favorite dessert of the two. Bill came out to be about $150 without tip. All in all im glad we came in. The buffet line was too long and BD was hungry. But I've had better steaks elsewhere that is yes, a little bit pricier than Henry's but everything was spot on. read more

Ribeye steak cooked exactly the way it should be - over wood fire grill and medium rare with pepper and light salt . We discovered Henry's shortly after Red Hawk opened. Out of about 15 times dining here, we would say we have an outstanding dinner experience about 75% of the time. Our meals are almost always very good, but the service is occasionally not the greatest. Upon entry, I always ask the hostess not to seat us with the older guy. He is very slooooooow. It's always best to book a reservation, which we do online and it is quite convenient. We always go to Henry's for our anniversary since it's the closest high-end steakhouse and it only takes us 5 minutes to get there. read more

Looking for a good steak in Placerville? This is the place. We decided last minute to go while we were visiting the Apple Hill area for the weekend. Searched for steakhouses on Yelp, this was the first choice. Made a reservation online, and were sitting down to dinner 45 minutes later in a classy, modern restaurant. The couple in front of us was told the wait would be an hour or so, but we were seated immediately. Thank you Yelp and Open Table! Service was excellent, waitstaff was attentive without being obtrusive. We each had salad - mine was the house salad with a vinaigrette dressing that blew my mind. Spicy and complex, throw some chicken on there and it could have been a meal in itself. But on to the steaks. Ohhhhh, the steaks. My sweetie had a filet and I had a NY strip - both done to perfection and melted like butter. The side of tempura green beans with chipotle aioli was different and very tasty - a nice contrast to the red meat. Baked sweet potatoes were a bit overdone for my taste. I had a lovely red varietal wine called "Snake Eyes" from the Alexander Valley - perfect compliment to the steak. Too stuffed to even think of dessert, sadly. Henry's Steak House has really good tasting food. The Customer Service here is Perfect! I usually start with their Calamari which is usually pretty crunchy. Then I order their steak which comes perfectly cooked to my liking every time! Their steak is so delicious I want to keep coming back but it is a bit far from where I live. I usually visit Henry's when Im conveniently at Red Hawk playing some slots. Hopefully I will be coming back here very soon! read more

If your in El Dorado/Placerville and want a really good steak, look no further! I came to Henry's saturday night with my gambling buddy and holy smokes the food was freaking amazing. We started off with the fried calamari which was super good especially with the dipping sauce. Then had 2 really good steaks and the baked potato was to die for, especially with the sides. Why Henry's is sooooo good: 1.) food is reasonably priced (rib eye (14oz) = $28, tbone (20oz) = $32, calamari = $12-14, special mix drinks = $14). 2.) service was excellent 3.) setting was modern and classy. So since we moved up here a year ago we've come to the steakhouse numerous times. Twice with a VIP Buffet style dinner and multiple times for regular dinner. We are not impressed with the VIP dinners as its a typical buffet nothing to rave about, but I kid you not the regular dinners are excellent. Expensive but really good. We have had prime rib few times and last night for my husband's birthday we both had steak dinners that were really good. Eating my leftovers as we speak. Mind you they give you a decent amount of food. In fact we had the same waiter last night as we did a couple months ago when we were there. Can't remember his name, but nice man, good waiter. We did get a free dessert for his birthday which was nice. I did have a few bites and it was really good too. We'll be back. read more

I made reservations two weeks in advance for my husband's 80th birthday. We arrived right on time, six o'clock, and they led us, a party of 9, to a side room with a bare wooden table. Left us there for a approximately 1 hr and 35 minutes waiting before we could order and get our meal. We spent an inordinate amount of time just waiting for the waitress to give us menus and then waiting again for at least 35 minutes before she came back to take the orders. When the food finally arrived it was cold and had to be sent back. We spent several hundred dollars on a meal and special occasion that would have been better served by going to cattlemans. It wasn't our first time at Henry's but it will be our last. There is no excuse for such poor service and preparation. They could have at least put tablecloths on the table. All the tables in the main dining room had them, as well as lovely accompaniments of things like salt and pepper etc. But not us. What a miserable experience and one that won't be repeated. read more

Well, if you like food without any flavor, No spices, herbs or salt, then this is the place for you. This is not for the Sophisticated Discerning pallet, it's more for the Mid-westerner's who traditionally do not like anything on there food. Please don't get me wrong, the quality of the Calamari I ordered was fresh and cooked perfectly...unfortunately the batter did not stick to the Calamari, and it the batter was flavorless, as were the 2 sauces. Then when the large cut of prime rib came, it was a beautiful cut! Unfortunately, it had zero herbs or spices on it, and the Au'Jus was a murky brown color and it tasted like nasty dirty water! The absolute worse tasting Au'Jus I've ever had. My husband who will eat pretty much anything, spit it out, because it was so bad! What surprises me is that the Prime rib at the buffet is Herb encrusted, and the Au'Jus is very good...Why can't Henry's Chefs, go over and take a lesson from the Chefs at the Buffet? In closing, the service was very good, the protein was fresh, but the food was flavorless, and darn right awful. And I will not be going back... unless they take some lessons from the chefs at The Buffet. read more

We have been here twice now and enjoyed a fantastic dinner both times. The service from Paulette was excellent this last Saturday. Our party of 4 enjoyed Chicken, Filet , and Lobster as well as mushrooms, the blue wedge salad, asparagus and a baked potato. EVERYTHING was excellent! The steak and lobster where all done absolutely perfectly. The bread is fresh and warm and the cheesecake is the best we have had. I am not sure why the poor reviews because we have yet to have anything but a great experience. Its pricey, but the portions are good size and the quality of the food is phenomenal. What's going on with this place? I used to love the food here. Mediocre at best. I got ripped off the other night and spent $90 here. Last time I was here it was $200 and off the charts. The clam chowder needed so much salt but the waiter never returned and my date just ate it lukewarm without seasoning. The wedge salad with thin slices of sub par bacon and house dressing (ranch) wasn't one thing to write home about..note to kitchen, when you cut a cucumber to look like an avocado it confuses the palate. My date did not even eat his over lettuced fifteen dollar hamburger. The very large wedge/steak fries were not even cooked all the way through but he's the type of guy that won't say anything. Henry's has become our 'go to' restaurant when we want the whole Monte! You get the classy sophistication of a 5 star restaurant along with great service (Nick) and consistently delicious food. We dined there last night since you had to book two months in advance for Valentine's Day. For starters, we both had Henry's famous Caesar's salad. Nick (our favorite waiter) mixed it thoroughly so that every fresh crispy piece of romaine was covered with dressing. The croutons were toasted and seasoned subtly and not overly crisp. The white anchovies on top were tres bon! Then, we opted for the same entree, Seared Sea Bass, and it was heaven on a plate! We both questioned how in the world anyone could create an entree of seafood and, have both of us raving about how juicy each bite was! The delicate sauce on top was just right to compliment but not overpower the fresh and tender flesh of the fish...outstanding presentation as well! It was served on a bed of rice with a medley of veggies, including Brussels sprouts and carrots...cooked perfectly, not almost raw! The entire meal was cooked to perfection. The service, as always, was prompt and not overly rushed. We had time to relax, sip our wine, and enjoy the complimentary fresh warm breads before our salads arrived. The ambiance of Henry's is worth the drive if you do not live in the area. There are very few high end, first class restaurants in the Folsom area but, Henry's is and has been the top of the list since it's first opening. You can get a really great steak in a nice atmosphere with great service in Henry's. I was there yesterday and I paid 32 bucks for a steak and it was delicious. But, they dont serve sides with their steaks, and thats fine, but the mashed potatoes were reconstituted out of a box, pretty lazy. And they had margarine on them. If you want to run a nice restaurant you don't let your customers down on the little things. Otherwise I wont pay that much for a steak no matter how badly I want it. Im doing henrys a big favor by not uploading a picture of the "mashed potatoes". For that price you can do better than the Red Hawk buffet. I should have sent them back. BTW the buffet mashed potatoes are actual potatoes. read more

After the fiasco I describe in my previous post, the restaurant manager, Jim called and sincerely apologized for our inconvenience on my mother-in-law's birthday celebration. I received a follow up call from Walter Hahn, who is the vice-president of food and beverage at Red Hawk Casino who also offered his apologies and made sure to compensate us on the entire meal. I am willing to understand that sometimes these things happen and am willing, after all their efforts to make it right, to give it another try soon. read more

Worst high end steak house I have ever been. The steaks are below par and almost no seasoning on the meat. I can tell you that Texas Road House and Outback steak house are much better. For $55-$60 steak I expected better! We were all disappointed. Will never comeback again, unless its a different chef. read more

I was at Henry's last Friday with my friend. The food was awful and the service was the same. It took us an 1/2 hour to get our food and the place didn't have that many people in it. We made our 2nd trip to Henry's Steakhouse at Red Hawk Casino last night. We had family visiting from Puerto Rico and local friends with us. The service, food and ambience was remarkable. Our waiter Dion, was the best. We were treated as royalty. Jim is awesome and was the most gracious host. Props to Jim. Great steak and the Mac n Cheese is to die for. If you love steak, this is the place. Even if you do not gamble, for a nice drive up Highway 50, try Henry's. You will not be disappointed. read more
