One of my new favorite places to be. Always down for their burger and a brew on Tuesday night with a different burger recipe featured every week. They just started BINGO on Thursdays, my wife and I didn't win, but had a great time. Working at a local distillery, I see a lot of out-of-towners and always point them toward Heritage. This is a bar and a partial kitchen. They do have a full bar but mostly it's just a beer place. We walked in at 6:30 on a Friday and it was empty. It's really just fried bar food. Not a kitchen. Nothing great about this place. Not sure how it has gotten such great reviews. read more

I've been here a couple of times now and the food and service are great. It feels like hand crafted, thought out bar food. The pork tenderloin sandwich is delicious, it's a flattened breaded pork cutlet on a roll/bun. Delish. The hash brown smash burger so good. A burger between a flattened hash browns Tons of bacon and smoked Gouda. I wish the burger had been cut in half as we told the server we were splitting it, but other than that the rosemary curly fries are great and I like the secluded vibe in there. Went here last night before a show at the knitting factory! One of the best places to eat in Spokane! Soo good! I got a burger it was so juicy and perfect! My sister got the meatloaf it was so delicious also very spicy! If you don't like heat I wouldn't recommend it for you. Got the deep fried PB&J for desert! Solid all around. Deserves the great ratings it's getting. Captures the terroir of Spokane with decor and menu in a comfortable, neighborhood bar kind of way. The burger is top notch. We had to see what all the hype was about and we are sure glad we did. Went in on a Friday night at 5 and the place was rather empty but very welcoming and friendly, helpful employees. Was still happy hour so we had discounted beer and appetizers. We had the chicken strips in buffalo sauce over fries. There were so many other items we wanted to try, but we were stuffed after the chicken and fries. People kept coming in and by 6 the place was packed! Not a single empty table. I want to start by saying I love a place where the owners roll up their sleeves and work. It shows they take pride in what they are trying to accomplish. We went for restaurant week and I had the pork sandwich...... life changing. Wife had the hashbrown burger and didnt like but for reasons you would expect when you order a hashbrown burger. Stopped by here because it was Sunday night and not many places were still serving food and we got hooked up! We were the only people in the restaurant section and the bartender took really good care of us. Everyone really enjoyed their food- we got the meatloaf sandwich, the pork tenderloin sandwich, the almond salad & a kids burger plus a couple appetizers and it was thumbs up all the way around the table. Amazing portions, wonderful sauces, nice variety on the menu- all around solid restaurant! We're looking forward to going back and trying some other stuff. read more

I was hesitant when I saw this place had only 5 star reviews but now I understand!! SO delicious and excellent service. I got the hash brown burger and rosemary curly fries and my boyfriend had the cheese Louise and soup special! We loved everything and the dough boy appetizer is a must! Our waiter was energetic and helpful and they even gave away FREE deep fried peanut better and jelly dessert for Valentine's day. We had lunch here and were really pleased. The service was on point. Food was fresh, made to order. We had the meatloaf sandwich which was absolutely delicious (added bacon), and the smash burger, which was one of the best I've ever had. I, too, am quite surprised by all the five star reviews. Here is my experience: -Hour wait to get a table. -When we are finally called to our table a good ten minutes before anyone even greets us. -Ordered appetizer that actually came out with our dinner. -Literally probably 45+ minutes to even get our dinner. -Chipotle meatloaf was hard and dry and the chipotle sauce was SUPER spicy (no indication given on the menu). -dinner came so late (we were at the restaurant almost two hours) that I didn't even bother eating it, took it home, literally just threw the food out when I got home. Only ten tables and two servers...what was taking so long??? Sorry to say that it was a waste if time and money. read more

Waitress was very nice. We got our drinks fast. However I wanted to order doughboys. They were out because the dough for them was frozen.I ordered the chicken bruschetta sandwich. The waitress told me they did not have any chicken because it was frozen. Did not tell me they were out until 15 minutes after I had order the sandwich. Had order my food at 7:30pm. This is an awesome new addition to Spokane! The food here is amazing but simple and unpretentious. I had their signature burger and it's honestly one of the best burgers I've had in Spokane if not THE best. They're next to Whistlepunk which is in my opinion the best brewery in town, Heritage has a really friendly staff, who provide amazing service, the layout of their place is beautiful and you get great views of downtown. But maybe the coolest part is how the owners seek to highlight Spokane landmarks as well as breweries in their selection. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!! read more

We came in for dinner tonight! It was our first time here and we will be coming back! This place was PACKED and despite how busy it was our server, Cassidy, introduced herself by name, was very friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. The food and our drinks were also delicious! The food took a little long but with every seat in the room occupied this wasn't surprising. Just tried the new Heritage Bar for lunch. It was so good! Unique menu options- we all ordered something different so we could sample more dishes. Pork tenderloin sandwich, meat hand pies, and chicken bruschetta sandwich - all were very good! The service was GREAT! Love the decor - the Monroe street bridge over the bar is fabulous. Food was AWESOME, server left a bit to be desired, asked if we would like to sit at the "kids section" IDs in hand at the ba, who couldn't have been any older than my date or I by more than a year. She disappeared as soon as my partner made a remark about that being slightly rude to me and never served us our food and let the kitchen staff handle it. We were a group of six plus a baby. Went there on 2/22, first night of restaurant week. Were told it would be an hour wait. Waited about 40 minutes when we were told that a four seat table was available and an adjacent two seat table would be open soon. We took it and after 10 minutes saw that the people at the two seat table had just been served food! Brought this to staffs attention and that a six seat table had just cleared out. We were able to move. All but one of us ordered off of the "special menu" for restaurant week. Waited over an hour with no follow up from wait staff (we believe that there were two plus the cook) except to tell us that they were out of the chocolate cake dessert (one of two desserts on the special) that 4 of us had ordered. Had to hunt down our own water by getting a pitcher from another guests table. Observed that most tables were experiencing similar waits. Appetizers (minus one that was never received or acknowledged until we settled the bill) came with dinner. All the "special" meals were finally served. I ordered the BBBLT which quickly became obvious that the server had not placed the order. The food was good. When the bill came the server said she would make adjustments. That was a whole other fiasco. Almost three hours and it wasn't fine dining... The epic fail on how the management and staff ignored the guests, provided no apologies until departure and did zero damage control is sad. Hopefully they will learn from this. read more
