We started with a Bloody Mary and a Michelada. Then for our meal my wife ordered the Avocado Toast and I had the California Omelette with tater tots. The Avocado Toast was visually stunning the balsamic sauce was perfect to cut through the richness of the perfect over easy eggs and avocado spread perfectly seasoned! I had the California Omelette with light fluffy eggs and crispy crunchy tender tots! Heroes is a Pub Bar & Grill located in Downtown Riverside . It has fun decor and a good atmosphere. Everything on the menu sounded delicious but we went with the Southwest Spicy Brisket Salad. The salad was fantastic! Fresh and just the right amount of dressing. The service was outstanding! We went during lunch and they were fairly packed, and our food came out quickly. Came here a few weeks ago for lunch on a weekday afternoon. I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with curly fries. The sandwich & fries were both great. I was starving so it filled me up. And not too long after the manager walked by and asked if everything was OK. I will say they are very attentive here. I ordered the steak and eggs, with the eggs fried. Dear Management Team, I am writing to formally express a concern regarding an interaction I had with one of your managers Brian on Wednesday, February 4 time of call 3:45, while attempting to obtain a menu from Heroes in Downtown Riverside. I work at a skilled nursing and assisted living facility, where I coordinate weekly restaurant orders for our residents. As part of this service, I requested a menu so residents could review options and make informed choices. I was advised to access the menu online; however, your website would not load or allow the menu to download despite multiple attempts. When I called to request assistance, the manager I spoke with was dismissive and spoke to me in a condescending and unprofessional manner. Rather than offering help or alternatives, he questioned my phone and printer capabilities and suggested workarounds that were not practical for our residents. The tone of the conversation felt arrogant and discourteous. I understand technical limitations happen, but the manner in which the situation was handled was disappointing. As someone working with elderly residents who rely on patience, clarity, and respect, I found the interaction especially troubling. I am sharing this feedback in hopes that it will be addressed internally, as professionalism and respectful communication are essential when serving the community. We were going to a concert across the street so we decided to kill some time and try this place out. My husband ordered me a drink & a beer for himself. My drink was 17.50 came in a big glass but unfortunately it wasn't even strong. Ive had better at other places honeslty. Our friends ordered chicken strips and fries it was a large portion but the food was cold. We were all still having a good time making the most of the visit. Checking out is were things got suspicious. My husband paid the check and i left cash tip, the check was $60.53, i left $13 for tip cash. My husband gets notification to his phone that said he paid $75. Where did this extra $15 come from?? Right away i thought something was off. So he lets an employee and they couldn't expalin why.. to me it looks like someone was trying to tip themselves an extra $15. I wont be returning to this place ever again. read more

My overall experience was good. The BBQ mac n' cheese was the best part of the meal because it was rich, flavorful, and easily a 10/10. The salmon sandwich was disappointing, as it was fried so much that I couldn't taste any real salmon, and the portion felt skimpy. The toppings and bread were just okay. I think I've been here twice. It's a cool place with a chill vibe. They have a bar and bar top seating. It's been a while, but I remember the food being good. The service was good. We were seated promptly and had our questions answered by our server. Prices aren't bad, and they have a variety of beers on tap. Salmon Dip is good, and I like that it's really hot when it comes out. The Chimichurri Steak with veggies and potatoes was off the hook. We ordered a medium, and it was on point. This is also a good spot for families. The parking situation could be better, I feel like the stalls were kind of tight. Also, the restroom needed some attention. The food was delicious, and the drinks were great as well. We came in with a large party of 15, including kids, and were seated on the outside patio near the main parking lot. Unfortunately, our experience with the two female servers was disappointing. They came across as rude and made it feel like our large group was an inconvenience. We were passed by multiple times without being helped, and when we finally asked another server to get someone to take our order, he kindly stepped in and helped us himself. He had a great attitude and was very accommodating, which we really appreciated. When our food was brought out, one of the servers had an attitude when we asked a few questions, which added to the negative experience. I wish I had gotten their names. I low-key love Heroes. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. Although inflation has us seeing slightly smaller portion sizes, they still serve more food than the average person needs. I like bringing my kids here because the atmosphere is vibrant and there isn't any pressure to keep it down. You can laugh loud and have a good time here. It's also good for large parties. I frequently see tables of 10 dining on the patio. The calamari app is one of our favorites and there's always so many entrées that catch my eye that I can hardly decide. The Philly was different than I'm used to, it was surprisingly good. I'm also a fan of the fish and chips here. I only wish they served a kid size pizza. Pizza is one of a few things my picky eater will eat, and we have to order a full size. I like their service style of sharing all of the tables as it ensures that my drink is never empty and I don't feel guilty about asking a random person for an extra sauce. The downside of that is you frequently have someone asking if you need something even when you just told the previous person two minutes ago that you were fine. We sat in the bar area which looked festive with the red lights but it may look like this all year round. Nice vibes in the bar area. Service was great ! Everyone enjoyed their food selections. My husband ordered and enjoyed the Godfather and I ordered the Jay bird with a side of fresh fruit which was good but the chicken was a little overcooked. I ordered the French dip and I wanted to like it but honestly it wasn't something to write home about. I know it's just beef and bread, but I can say I've had much better elsewhere. It seems they are trying to make up for mediocre food with massive sizes...but the prices have increased as well...we can compare them to Disneyland... $14 for a pretzel with cheese is extreme for an appetizer. Someone ordered the Frank's Mac and cheese burger, and there was more lettuce and tomato than there was chicken. It was mostly a vegetable sandwich with a side of chicken. The noise level was extremely high because of the music and with the overhead heaters, it made it somewhat uncomfortable.
