I purchased my 2024 brand new Atlas Cross Sport in late August 2024. A few months after my brakes started making a horrific squealing and grinding noise when braking. After bringing it in, I was told that its a known issue and that the brake pads VW uses causes a glaze to build up on the rotars. I was told to drive my car fast and brake heavily 4 or 5 times to heat and scale the glaze off. Aftwr research I have found that this is a consistent issue among these vehicles that VW (and i would assume...VW dealerships know about)I attempted to contact Hewlett and have twice now been denied a reasonable fix to the situation. I offered to buy top of the line brake pads to replace the OEM defective ones but have asked that the dealership put them on and resurface the rotars (to get the glaze off) however I have been denied with no other attempt made to solve the situation. I was quite literally told to wait for VW to potentially send a recall notice, though no potential time fram could be given. I realize that Hewlett VW is not to blame for the part, but was hoping they would be reasonable and meet me half way with the brake pad change idea. At this point and time I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone, simply due to their inability to try and work with me to solve an issue I shouldn't have in the first place. The brake noise is highly embarrassing and certainly isn't a good look for the brand. read more

I'm beyond frustrated and angry with my experience at Hewlett Volkswagen, specifically dealing with Paul Berube and Skyler Adams. Last week, I was interested in a 2024 Tiguan and negotiated a price, but we couldn't reach an agreement. I was ready to move on, but Paul later reached out and told me he could offer me the deal I wanted for a reasonable price. I have screenshots and receipts of all our conversations to back this up. Trusting his word, I made an appointment and drove an hour to the dealership, only to arrive and find out Paul wasn't even there! To make matters worse, no one at the dealership had any idea what I was talking about. After a lot of back-and-forth with another sales associate, Ashley (the sales manager) finally came over. Instead of resolving the situation, he belittled my mother and acted as though we were making things up. It was extremely insulting and felt like we were being treated this way because of our background. After all of this, I texted Pau to clear the air and for him to possible reach out to the dealership to get some clarity, but Instead he had the audacity to text me, claiming he never made the deal in the first place, and said we should "take what was offered or stop wasting their time." The entire experience was ridiculous, unprofessional, and outright disrespectful. I truly believe I was treated this way because I am a young, 21-year-old Black woman wearing a hijab. The way they gaslit me into thinking I made things up and talked down to us like we were idiots was disgusting. I wasted two hours of my day (driving an hour each way) only to be treated horribly. I've never experienced such blatant disrespect and poor customer service, and I wouldn't recommend anyone, especially women and people of color, to do business here. read more

This is a great Volkswagen Dealership! I don't ever feel I'm being taken advantage of-throughout my life I cam only say that about 4x. (And I'm a Senior Citizen!). Tyesha was our Service Manager and she was easy to talk to, and reviewed the work requested. The mechanics are awesome and know their stuff! When recommending a nee battery they brought the actual test results so we could see the issue for ourselves. They give you recommendations but its up to you as to if and what you want to purchase! One minor complaint is that somehow the brake pad inspection I had requested got missed. When I'm available I'll return and get it taken care of. read more
