We loved this place- it's so cute inside. Food was delicious and we got a second tom kha soup Togo my fav. Server was nice and the prices are so fair!

This location on Alameda Ave was formely the original Swing Thai in Denver. Back in 2020, the owners decided to convert it to street food model with only 12 choices. It is still here. There are 2 other Swing Thai locations on Colorado Blvd & Tennyson St with larger menus. I started with the Thai boneless fried chicken with a bottle of Blue Moon Belgian White beer. Lots more chicken that I expected for $12. A dipping sauce (thousand island?) was provided. The menu said the beer was $5.50 but the bill said $5. Next was Drunken Noodles with fried tofu. Also a larger serving for $18. First time eating drunken noodles. Nice fat rice noodles. I asked for Hot, but it was not too spicy. My server, Bussayaporn P kept my water glass filled. He paced out the courses, so the bowl of noodles came out after I finished the chicken. I then got the only dessert, Mango & Sticky Rice. Hot Sticky rice with coconut milk & cold sliced mango. Clean tables, cool air and soft music. I saw a takeout window.

Hey Bangkok! A little restaurant where you'll see a steady stream of people coming in and out, grabbing to-go orders. You'll also see the smiles on the few servers helping the people dining in. The food was tasty and great. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and some fried tofu. The Pad Thai was great, while the tofu was good but lacking compared to other locations. But for the price, the food was delicious, with a large portion and was quick to the table. Unfortunately, the leftovers didn't hold up that well, so eat all you can while eating it fresh.

In Denver for a long weekend and meeting one of our twin's friends, who recently moved to Denver. Hey Bangkok is a small, quaint restaurant in a local neighborhood. Parking is a real challenge. The restaurant is small, perhaps serving 30 people. They have a loyal following and a good take-away service. We were quickly seated. We ordered the fried vegetable rolls with dipping sauce, pad Thai and drunken noodle with chicken and medium spice. The food arrived quickly and was hot. The vegetable rolls were flavorful, hot and accompanied with a good dipping. The pad Thai was colorful, bland and lacked flavor. The drunken noodles had a scant amount of sauce and were dry. To be honest, Hey Bangkok is a quick Thai haunt. They have a loyal following and good take-away service. The food is reasonably priced and fulfills a certain spot in the Denver dining scene. I don't feel the need to return to Hey Bangkok. They are not trying to be something they are not, a quick take-away dining option. Over the years,I have found that my taste is for more bold flavors and sauces.

Such a great Thai place!! The drunken noodles and pad Thai were so fresh and flavorful! The service was exceptional as well with the waiter being very attentive and cleaning up and refilling waters! Great spot for some fresh Thai fix!

Tried out this cute Thai restaurant. Love the wall decor, definitely makes you feel like you're in Bangkok. The eggrolls and noodles were fresh and yummy. Service was very friendly. They are a very small, simple menu.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and if you're dining in it's pretty much seat yourself when you walk in, if you're doing takeout, you can walk up and order at the counter! I was greeted immediately and given water and a menu, and ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. The menu is small but the selection seemed to have a good variety of choices. The food came out within 5 minutes of me sitting down and the portion size was great! There were a good amount of toppings and they did not skimp on the amount of shrimp either! Not a mind blowing dish but a very warm hearty meal which is exactly what I was craving! Overall, service was great, the restaurant was clean, and I would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area!

A simple menu, fast service, and great for takeout. The food is ready in record time and the quality is consistent. My drunken noodles could have had more flavor and spice to them, but the Pad Thai and Tom Kha soup got great reviews.

Hey Bangkok is more than a fast casual spot, but not so fancy that you can't walk in, grab a table, and be out the door within 30ish minutes. A cool Thai restaurant located on the corner of Alameda and Pennsylvania, this is a great place to stop in or order takeout. I went with my usual drunken noodles order, and these are some of the best I've had in Denver. The noodles are fresh and there is plenty of minced chicken. The spice here is serious! (Yet still delicious).

I dropped in on a whim and the store was empty accept myself, which says to me this place is criminally underrated. Friendly owners recommended the #7, which I got. Super yummy and perfectly filling for lunch. The interior is super cool. All in all this is a great hang out or quick lunch.

I just had the Tom Kha soup and drunken noodles, both with shrimp. Very tasty. I ordered it spicy and it was just right.

Noodles are a regular fixture when we want a quick fix and our version of fast food. With plenty of seating on this Monday evening, our party of three were seated immediately. Menus and water arrived shortly and we perused the menu. They have a decent selection of ramen, udon, soup noodles, stir-fry noodles, rice bowls, and poke bowls. They also have a few izakaya options perfect for sharing. * Black Tonkotsu $18 - The Little Guy got this and slurped the whole thing up, even the wood ear mushrooms which he usually leaves behind. He actually asked to return the next day because he loved it so much and just loved it. 5/5 * Menya Special $16.50 - I got this one and it was fine. Although I think I was a bit jealous as the Black Tonkotsu looked like it had different kind of noodles. The egg was perfectly cooked. 4/5 * Udon $16.50 - The Little Gal had this as she is a fan of udon any day. She ate pretty much the whole thing herself. Overall, Menya Noodle Bar served its purpose. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helped answer a few questions we had about different dishes. We had about a 20 minute wait for our table, so we grabbed a couple cocktails at the bar first. I had the Harmony in Beijing and my girlfriend had the Oolong Old Fashion. Both were really refreshing and a great way to start dinner. One thing we really liked was the ordering style. Once you're seated, you just keep picking out small plates you want to try, just like a lot of dumpling shops in China and Japan. It honestly brought back memories from my trips over there. The atmosphere and decor was beautiful and felt authentic without trying too hard. Our favorites were the Spicy Cucumber Salad, Spicy Green Beans, Beef & Vermicelli Dumplings, Hot Sea Pork and Shrimp Dumplings, Pork & Chive Dumplings, and the Crab Rangoons. Everything was fresh and came out pretty quick. We also ordered the Chicken Lo Mein, but I only had one bite because we bought it to give to a homeless woman we met at the park near where we were staying. The biggest downside is the price. It's very, very expensive for what you get. Dumplings that were basically the same size and quality as ones I ate all over Japan for $4-$7 were over $14 here. A pretty small plate of stir fried green beans being around $20 was kinda hard to justify. The only dishes we really didn't care for were the Chinese Style Broccoli, which was pretty plain and lacked flavor, and the Pork & Mushroom Dumplings. They tasted good, but they were dry enough that I probably wouldn't order them again. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner and would definitely come back, but probably only for a special occasion. The food and experience were great, but the pricing keeps it from being a place we'd visit regularly or for a casual night out.
