    Fried Tofu

Hey Bangkok! A little restaurant where you'll see a steady stream of people coming in and out, grabbing to-go orders. You'll also see the smiles on the few servers helping the people dining in. The food was tasty and great. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and some fried tofu. The Pad Thai was great, while the tofu was good but lacking compared to other locations. But for the price, the food was delicious, with a large portion and was quick to the table. Unfortunately, the leftovers didn't hold up that well, so eat all you can while eating it fresh.

In Denver for a long weekend and meeting one of our twin's friends, who recently moved to Denver. Hey Bangkok is a small, quaint restaurant in a local neighborhood. Parking is a real challenge. The restaurant is small, perhaps serving 30 people. They have a loyal following and a good take-away service. We were quickly seated. We ordered the fried vegetable rolls with dipping sauce, pad Thai and drunken noodle with chicken and medium spice. The food arrived quickly and was hot. The vegetable rolls were flavorful, hot and accompanied with a good dipping. The pad Thai was colorful, bland and lacked flavor. The drunken noodles had a scant amount of sauce and were dry. To be honest, Hey Bangkok is a quick Thai haunt. They have a loyal following and good take-away service. The food is reasonably priced and fulfills a certain spot in the Denver dining scene. I don't feel the need to return to Hey Bangkok. They are not trying to be something they are not, a quick take-away dining option. Over the years,I have found that my taste is for more bold flavors and sauces.

Tried out this cute Thai restaurant. Love the wall decor, definitely makes you feel like you're in Bangkok. The eggrolls and noodles were fresh and yummy. Service was very friendly. They are a very small, simple menu.

Such a great Thai place!! The drunken noodles and pad Thai were so fresh and flavorful! The service was exceptional as well with the waiter being very attentive and cleaning up and refilling waters! Great spot for some fresh Thai fix!

Stopped by for a quick lunch and if you're dining in it's pretty much seat yourself when you walk in, if you're doing takeout, you can walk up and order at the counter! I was greeted immediately and given water and a menu, and ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. The menu is small but the selection seemed to have a good variety of choices. The food came out within 5 minutes of me sitting down and the portion size was great! There were a good amount of toppings and they did not skimp on the amount of shrimp either! Not a mind blowing dish but a very warm hearty meal which is exactly what I was craving! Overall, service was great, the restaurant was clean, and I would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area!

    The #7 with chicken

I dropped in on a whim and the store was empty accept myself, which says to me this place is criminally underrated. Friendly owners recommended the #7, which I got. Super yummy and perfectly filling for lunch. The interior is super cool. All in all this is a great hang out or quick lunch.

A simple menu, fast service, and great for takeout. The food is ready in record time and the quality is consistent. My drunken noodles could have had more flavor and spice to them, but the Pad Thai and Tom Kha soup got great reviews.

Hey Bangkok is more than a fast casual spot, but not so fancy that you can't walk in, grab a table, and be out the door within 30ish minutes. A cool Thai restaurant located on the corner of Alameda and Pennsylvania, this is a great place to stop in or order takeout. I went with my usual drunken noodles order, and these are some of the best I've had in Denver. The noodles are fresh and there is plenty of minced chicken. The spice here is serious! (Yet still delicious).

Great neighborhood quick dinner or lunch spot, with cool vibes and flavorful food. We had pad thai and drunken noodles and both were outstanding. Friendly service.

After a day of snow tubing in Frisco, I needed something savory and hot to warm up my insides. And what better way to bring in some heat than with Thai food? Sadly, Frisco didn't have much to offer in that arena, so we headed back home to check this place out. I love the atmosphere and decor at Hey Bangkok! It felt like sitting in a sidewalk cafe in Bangkok, truly. Our server immediately greeted us and asked us to sit anywhere. He graciously brought water and menus, and not even 10 minutes went by before taking our order. Before I knew it, I was munching on the veggie rolls. With the sauce, it was a great way to start the meal. And these were NOT frozen. Perfect! My Pad Thai soon arrived and was hot off the pan. It was perfectly portioned, with just the right amount of sprouts, carrots, and green onion for my personal taste. The noodles were chewy and delicious. The chicken was fresh and cooked well. I have no complaints. I inhaled it after enjoying the first few bites! My son ordered the chicken platter, and I had a bite of that, and WHOA. It's definitely worth ordering next time. His chicken platter came with a side salad; I just can't recall which one it was. It was delicious but maybe a bit too overly dressed. I imagine combining it with the rice would've cut down on the powerfulness of the dressing, but it was still very fresh and tasty. With this kind of quality and service, I'm absolutely coming back the next time a Pad Thai craving hits.

This is the only consistent place to get pad Thai around the South East Denver area. Friendly, efficient, and tastes amazing!

Best Pad Thai I've ever had. The coconut cake isn't cheap but it's addicting. Fast and yummy.

My favorite was the French toast, crunchy on the outside and warm, soft, and savory on the inside. It was also good I usually don't like anything with coconut and this has it in there. Never would've guessed that's what I was eating because of the way they incorporated all of the other ingredients! Me and my friends ate the ants on a tree, the Korean chicken, sweet and sour chicken, the potatoes, French toast, and the Korean corn dog. We shared everything and all were very full by the end. It was a great atmosphere to have a delicious dinner with friends!

I heard rave reviews about The Ginger Pig and finally was able to go to try for myself but was…read moreextremely let down. My husband and I were really looking forward to having a go-to Asian restaurant that was walking distance from our house. We did attempt to come one time prior, around 5pm on the weekend but it was already full. This time, we came on a Thursday before 5pm and there were plenty of tables. We started with the Smashed Cucumber Salad and the Beijing Style Dumplings that were on happy hour. I am not sure if the Soy Sauce was confused with the Black Vinegar jar for the cucumbers but they were extremely vinegary and that is coming from someone who loves adding vinegar to many Asian dishes. The Beijing dumplings were good, thicker wrapper but a hefty dumpling. We actually had to dip the cucumbers in the dumpling sauce that was a bit sweet to make the cucumbers more enjoyable. For main entrees, I got the Vietnamese Garlic Noodle and my husband got the Ants Climbing a Tree. As a Chinese person whose parents were born in Hong Kong, I have never had butter noodles before. The Vietnamese Garlic Noodles were butter noodles with shrimp and broccoli and garlic bits. I was extremely confused. It wasn't bad per se but... it was egg noodles with butter and shrimp essentially. Not worth $23 at all. The Ants Climbing a Tree was an overabundance of spice. Spice with no additional flavor. My husband loves spicy foods but he couldn't eat much of this. I took a break from my butter noodles and tried a bite of this and it was spicy upon touching my tongue and spicy as a lingering flavor. As to not waste food, he took this home and begrudgingly ate it for lunch and still was not pleased with it. We also ordered the Hong Kong French Toast. It has been a very long time since I had an authentic HK French Toast in HK but the taste is reminiscent of the actual dish. I liked the kaya coconut jam inside. This was my favorite of the meal. I do not understand the hype of Ginger Pig. If you are used to having Chinese fast casual food and wanted to venture more into authentic Chinese food, I suppose this would be good but I cannot recommend this. It is vey expensive for the basic food. I suppose the quality of the food is good, cooked well, but the flavors do not work for me. I will not be returning. I would rather have gone to Panda Express or Pei Wei (I don't even like Pei Wei) where my expectations would have been met instead of spending a lot of money and being disappointed with my food.
