As someone who is indecisive af when it comes to picking what to eat, a simple menu is just what I need. Protein or no protein, you have the choice of adding tofu, chicken, or shrimp to any dish. We started with the egg rolls and fried chicken -- both were hot, crispy, and delicious. And for the rest of our order? No complaints! I'm always a Pad Thai gal, but the Pad See Yew was toooooo good. The noodles were chewy and full of umami flavor. I've never had Pad Gra Pow, but it's one of my new favorites! It's the perfect protein + rice dish for anyone not feeling noodles. The Kaw Soy Curry is always a great curry option. The portion sizes are large, so I'd recommend getting a handful of dishes and share them family style. The atmosphere was bright and energetic and our server was incredibly kind and on top of it! They're located in a smaller space, so keep this in mind if you're planning on dining in. It was just the broth the extra broccoli and the chicken disappointed. I called the restaurant and asked for a refund as I'm not gonna eat it. She said that she would only refund me if I brought the soup back mind you after I had already driven 15 minutes home. This spot is tasty! I really LOVED the Thai iced tea and Tom Kha soup! The tea had strong, fragrant flavors and the Tom Kha might just be the best I've had to date! I ordered it medium and it was spiced to perfection! The veggie rolls were crisp and steamy in the middle and I would order these again as well. I was drowning them in their delicious fish sauce! It was light and tangy! The fried chicken, we ordered the dark meat and for some reason it did taste a bit over cooked and dry. The flavor was there, but the meat texture and juice just wasn't. Came here on a rainy night cause a cozy bowl of spicy soup just sounded perfect. All my favorite soups are apparently on the menu here- tom kha, khao soi, and noodle soup. Hard choice, but I decided on the thai chicken noodle soup.. and after reading multiple reviews online about how the food wasn't spicy enough.. my dumb butt asked for them to make it thai hot. My partner, who is never really swayed much by what other people think, went with his favorite of pad thai and asked for it to be hot. Still a level up from what we normally order, but not on the same extreme as I went Normally, I think we order thai food at a medium or medium plus.. even though we LOVE spicy food. I'm really not sure what possessed me because omg, guys.. this soup was seriously SO spicy. I definitely cried a bit while eating it and felt like I was breathing fire, but I also couldn't STOP eating it. It was seriously so good and the herbal flavors of the broth still shined through with all the heat. I ended up taking a good portion of my spicy soup to-go, but immediately ate it when we got back home I ate bites of my partner's pad thai to try to cool my mouth down.. Lol. His food was delicious too, even though the pad thai here has varying reviews online. The sauce had a sweet + very peanuty flavor with the perfect amount of spice. Immediately sat down and ordered food with quick turn around time. What we ordered: 1. Tom Kha soup w/ Veggies - $9 2. Fried Tofu - $8 3. Pad Gra Pow - $16 4. Kaw Soy Curry w/ Shrimp - $18 Ever since leaving I've been dreaming of the Tom Kha soup. I want to drink that broth in a glass. Maybe the best Tom Kha soup I've ever had. The Pad Gra Pow had a nice kick to it, I chose medium spice. Minced chicken with veggies was a perfect pairing for rice. The Kaw Soy Curry was also packed with flavor. Rich curry flavor with noodles and shrimp. We chose mild spice level for my partner and it still had some spice to it, not too much. I love spice but she needed a lower level. The fried tofu is just as you'd expect fried tofu to be. The batter was fried to perfection, not too soft and not too hard. The sweet chili sauce paired with was great!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so glad we finally did! It was so delicious! Cute little spot off Pennsylvania, they even have a pickup window outside. They have maybe 20-30 seats inside and incredibly fast service. While their menu may seem limited, the flavors and food offered is delicious! We had the fried vegetable rolls to start. They were light crispy and yummy. Next we had the Khao Soy and Pad Thai. I got mild and my husband got hot. My Khao soy was with egg noodles and chicken. You can choose rice and a different protein or vegetarian if you wish. I've been to northern Thailand and had Khao soy and this was super similar to the Khao soy I had there. The broth was rich, flavorful and full of depth. This had some sort of chopped lettuce which I didn't really enjoy but oh well. The noodles were egg noodles like ramen and then a crispy fried type noodle on top. The pad Thai was fantastic as well! It had so much flavor . For being "hot" it was not. It's more of a 3.5 but I raised the stars because the server was very friendly. The wallpaper of Bangkok captures the atmosphere of the place, the menu is streetfood simplicity and can fit on half a page in large print. It has limited offerings but enough to appeal to the majority of lunch time patrons. I had the poached chicken, a Southeast Asian staple. It is served with ginger rice and broth. It looks boring but if done right it should be moist and homey. It was well enough but lost some of the moistness because it was de-skinned and deboned. Probably to appeal to a western audience. The rice was warm versus steaming hot. However, it was still a pleasing meal. Off of busy Almeda with a private parking lot. Meaning there would be other dishes I'd order at other Thai places that are not offered here yet it must mean what they do have are surely good. Hubby's Pad Gra Pow is hand down the best, most wok-hey filled Thai stir fry I've had. My Pad Thai was ok, I still like a less sweet, less saucy Pad Thai. Legitimately good Thai. My wife and I were out and about without my peanut allergy son. We tried Hey bangkok and not everything went smoothly but in the end they made it right My wife got a drunken noodle dish and order it mild. I got a Thai curry noodle and was not spicy. We switched but mentioned it. . .but then they took the drunken noodles and remade it. This was a bit weird as I would of eaten the spicy one (even though my wife ordered it). Why take away a food you made a mistake on just to throw away? I also go the signh beer. In general the food was great, the mistake was fixed. One issue is they don't know peanuts well. I really think you should be careful here with a peanut allergy. They mentioned not all dishes have peanuts and they could make - when I pointed out/asked if they soap/wash wok between meals they admitted to a "hot oil" clean (common in woks) which of course won't clear peanut proteins and can have cross contamination. So we were right now to bring our allergy son - and I don't know if he will ever be able to safley visit thailand :( read more

Khao Soi/Kaw Soy is one of my all-time favorite foods, so when I saw it on Hey Bangkok's menu, I couldn't wait to give it a try. I also ordered the Bangkok salad. Hey Bangkok's Kaw Soy is one of the better renditions I have had in the Denver area -- the noodles were cooked perfectly and the medium spice I ordered truly was medium. My favorite part was that unlike many nearby restaurants, Hey Bangkok does not slap the word "special" and add $5+ to the price of the Kaw Soy -- $12 is such a fair price! I did find the curry to be incredibly salty, and I also wish there had been more pickled greens. The salad (kale, cabbage, sugar pea, carrot, turnip, and sprouts) was such a crunchy and fun salad to eat... not to mention a fairly large salad for only $6! For ~$20, I got two decent-sized meals out of one curry entree and one salad. Pickup was quick and easy. After placing an order online, my food was ready in under 15 minutes, waiting for me at the pick-up window. HB literally has some of the best drunken noodles I've ever had in the United States, Thailand, or Hong Kong. We got takeout from Hey Bangkok! during COVID life, and man, was it good. There are very few places that aren't on the coasts where you can get the very authentic dish of chicken rice, and Hey Bangkok! has legit chicken rice! In Colorado! This is unreal! While the food itself was great, one of my favorite parts of Hey Bangkok! is that it's not a family style Asian restaurant. You order what YOU want to eat, and you don't have to think about what other people got. Your plate is your plate. This Thai restaurant opened just a couple weeks ago! They're a sister restaurant of Swing Thai, serving a simpler menu of delicious and authentic Thai food. It's perfect for lunch or a quick bite! My mentee, who is from Thailand, works here and had me try the Pad Gra Pow--stir-fried basil with fried egg. You can choose to have it with chicken, tofu, veggies or shrimp, and then choose your level of spice. I got the chicken option, and once mixed all together, it truly tasted like a home-cooked meal. I also got the Thai Boneless Fried Chicken as an appetizer, which--although a little pricy--is a must-try. It's like a softer, more tender version of your typical fried chicken. My only thing is that this seemed like a pretty small portion, but I got a full meal out of it and was happy! My boyfriend got the pad Thai, also medium, and also great! Having been in Thailand for a summer, i realized after coming back the difficulty of finding the traditional Thai food and even more of a difficulty finding Thai fried chicken (a common street food). If you eat meat you might be fine, but I'm vegan and it was ridiculous bad. They only have two dishes that are vegan. The fried tofu was too breaded, but decent. The tofu curry was absurd. Took grandson who requested "Asian noodle anything" for lunch after an orthodontist appointment. Very simple, clean, straightforward place (an off-shoot of Swing Thai). Good food. Great service. We began with the Fried Vegetable Roll. You know it's very good when this grandmother wanted to fight for the last one!
