This was definitely worth the hype. I'm so glad they decided to open this famous Chinese boba place in LA. I got the Mango Grapefruit Boom and it was very good. Not too sweet and fresh flavors. The mango pulp bits were so soft and had a sweet mango flavor. The grapefruit provided a nice tartness. The jellies were also great. Finally, the coconut milk meshed all the different flavors and textures very well, a silky and smooth drink. I wasn't able to get any of the sago drinks, but will definitely do so in the future. I highly recommend this place as one of the best boba spots now in LA. read more

I have heard of this place for a long time. I went there excitedly on the weekend. I was told that I needed to queue up for an hour on Yelp, so I turned around and left. I decided to try my luck on the weekday. As expected, there was no need to queue up! The clerk recommended the most popular flavor in the store, the first one, popcorn, but I didn't order it because it was too sweet. I chose the second most popular Cassia and Mulberry. Later, I felt that I was worrying too much. The sweetness of their perfect is really perfect! Cassia is cinnamon? But it tastes like barley tea! The brown sugar doesn't steal the flavor of the tea, and the fusion is just right! Mulberry is mulberry, a very refreshing fruit tea, sour and sweet. The amazing thing is that I think its syrup sweetness is very comfortable to drink, and it doesn't make people feel greasy. The mochi inside is really amazing. When I ordered it, I was afraid that it would be sticky because I was too full and didn't want to eat mochi. But it turned out to have the texture of jelly and the toughness of mochi, which is amazing! I haven't tasted the second one in Los Angeles. I heard that the boss personally went to Taiwan to learn the craft. It's really a skill Decided to browse through the menu! Try them all! The atmosphere is also good and there are many people. One of my guilty pleasures is always looking for coffee, shops or tea shops. While ordering food at a nearby restaurant and waiting to pick it up, I walked around the vicinity and landed upon this cute an amazing tea shop. The inside is very simple but very high catchy, especially if you love taking pictures or you are a foodie. Any questions we may have had were answered very thoroughly by the staff and they were very helpful on all the amazing options that they have I chose to go with the supreme Macha latte and let me tell you it was very good! Rapidly this has become my favorite boba tea spot. Because the TEA is great. So often it feels that milk tea just has basic to middling to poor tea. been here a few times now and tried diff drinks. ik their mango booms are popular, but honestly I'm more of a tea person so I didn't really understand the hype. it's more like a mango smoothie to me, which is alright but I wouldn't go to a boba shop for that. I had their cheese cloud green tea and although I wish they had other tea options with the cheese cloud, this might be my go-to drink from here! I really enjoy how simple yet yummy it is. it's always pretty packed when I go here, but the workers are very efficient and nice. I don't interact with them that much other than ordering and picking up my drinks, but I would still say the service is good. it's kind of a small store, with no place to really sit inside. I usually order then wait outside until my drink is done. I think the quality is good, but the prices are kinda high. I do like the size of their cups and how some lids can be turned! parking isn't the greatest in the area unless you want to pay to park in the lots nearby. I've been here soo many times in the last three months because I am addicted !! The mango booms are my favorite but I have tried everything on the menu and there hasnt been a drink that I did not like. The mango is super fresh and just tastes so refreshing.. I've been here on a friday night when it was super busy (1 hour wait) and ive been here on a weekend night where it's not too busy at all. They drinks are all made very well so you may need to wait a bit since they are busy and the drinks are made with a lot of care. Side note: I have ordered more than one drink and stored them in the fridge. The drinks actually age extremely well in the fridge even the day after. There is street parking or many parking structures behind this area. If you havent tried hey tea, it's time to try now!! read more

I was surprised to see a boba shop in Beverly Hills when I came here for lunch. It was also near the restaurant where we had lunch so I thought why not? I've heard of Hey Tea before, seen their ice cream bars in the asian markets but never had their tea until now. I didn't realize that they advertised a lot about how healthy their ingredients are. The store is so tiny. There is a QR code you can scan to order if the cashier is too busy to take your order. Didn't end up using that but I can see it coming in handy because the inside barely fits 5 customers standing around. I ordered a bobo milk tea and a matcha jasmine latte. Half sugar, less ice, no boba. I knew there were some orders ahead of me but didn't know it would take 20 minutes for them to have my drinks out. Both drinks after tax and tip ended up being about $20. Beverly Hill location, Beverly Hill prices??? I ordered with English but while waiting, did read some of the previous reviews and ended up speaking Chinese with them when I went back to pick up my drinks. The drinks are good but I can't see myself becoming a repeat customer. The high prices, small location and long wait are missed marks for Hey Tea. During my visit, they only had 3 staff members but I'm not sure what they were doing. Most of the time, I saw them struggling to use the machines that made the tea/assemble drinks so maybe that is the chokehold within the slowness in service? read more

After ordering...the service person then informed us it was his first order and that they staff is overwhelmed and under staffed and could take more than 30mins to get our order but that the Boba was just made and is super fresh. So, that might have been a deal breaker if we knew that ahead of time but hey(tea) we had time and hoped it wouldn't take the 30mins. Sure enough, got it in about 15min. My wife's first taste was with a "wow" and that is the freshest Boba ever....it was still warm!! So, I had to try. Well this drink has changed my mind about Boba.
