It's like a little slice of Scottsdale in Downtown Tucson! This means good and bad things, but overall I like this as an upbeat brunch spot, even if it's not my cup of tea as a nightclub. The patio is legit. It's equipped with games, a bit of space to walk around and socialize, and in the heat, plenty of fans and shade. The music is trendy and loud. Annoyingly loud, for the average person. I love it! The food is good for standard bar stuff, but the brunch menu is a bit sloppy. The breakfast sandwich has bacon AND sausage, eggs, pepperjack, and *guacamole* on a *croissant*. It does not hold up well on such delicate bread, and there's way too much going on here. Maybe stick with a plain ol' bacon egg and cheese? My friend got chicken and waffles--the waffle was so overcooked it was rock hard. The chicken seemed to be plain 'ol Tyson tenders from the frozen aisle at Walmart. Not asking for anything super fancy, but they really don't care about the grub. Just vibes. And the mimosas? Oh don't get me started on the mimosas. I don't have them that often but I know these are the weakest around. No wonder they strongly encourage you to just order mimosa towers instead. The cocktails are forgettable as well, if you ever go for those. So the drinks here are nothing to get excited over, and neither is the food. But it's still a really fun space that you can easily enjoy as a group. While it doesn't come remotely close to living up to the other Arizona location, it's still a solid suggestion for fun times with your squad. read more

Hi Fi was the first stop on a Saint Patty's Day bar crawl that I fell victim to (on an invitation by a friend) and honestly it was the worst stop of my bar crawl for a few reasons. I would rate this place a 3 star because the cocktails were alright (I had a Miami Peach and a green tea), but I'm rating it lower because the bouncer was SO rude. There are plenty of reviews saying this, but here's my piece: Basically when I got there, the first bouncer got a second guy to check my ID because it was an out of state ID and I look young, which is fair, it happens all the time. However, this second bouncer was incredibly rude about my ID not because he didn't know how to find my birthday on it, but because he claimed that I was showing him a fake ID. Honestly, I felt profiled during the experience and it was really pissing me off that they didn't bother to scan it or anything. He kept asking me to confirm information on my STATE ISSUED license. "What's the address on here? You said you graduated from university in May? Do you have another ID?" I showed him my student ID AND my Arizona finger print clearance card (which has my birthday on it, ISSUED FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT) and he still was ADAMANT that my ID was fake. He scoffed at me for not knowing my drivers license number! Although it's understandable to be hesitant because I look young, I was ready to just leave at this point because no amount of convincing was going to tell this guy that I was legal age. After awhile of throwing questions at me, he decided the best course of action was to threaten me, saying, "You can tell me this is fake right now and walk away or when my guy comes out to check this ID, you're gonna be in trouble." And so a third bouncer arrives on the scene to verify ID (again, not scanning it), and how he was satisfied about my ID being legitimate was by checking my birthday on my Apple ID on my phone. Yeah. *My Apple ID that I created.* Because my state issued identification wasn't real enough. It was also really loud and the bartenders were incredibly slow. But at least their Miami Peach was good. read more

This place isn't too bad, attended a birthday party which was fun. Service was good, of course if you have a private party it will be much better but I can understand if you have to order from the bar then that is a totally different situation with the crowd once it is packed. Later into the night it does get super crowded, we had our own booth for the party that was right near the DJ area, so many people crowded the DJ area which meant people were intruding on our parties private booth area. People were literally climbing over the booths seats to get to one private area/booth area. It's almost like a free for all once the place gets crowded, where you may end up being your own security for your own party area that you spend a couple of hundred dollars on including the price of bottles for the party. Food and drinks are okay. Staff is the real problem. Bartenders are friendly and helpful, the issue is various security staff and management. To start I've been coming to this place for years and tonight after waiting in line security was saying my ID was fake. Im 24 I don't need a fake ID... then they offered to let me in if I gave them $20 dollars. After asking to speak the a supervisor I was told that if security felt uncomfortable they couldn't let me in and didn't bother to check my ID. So I guess their pockets were uncomfortable so I couldn't come in. I am disgusted at this service. So what's uncomfortable about a 120lb black woman? That's what I want to know. We (5 of us) stopped here for beers. It reminded me of a good college hangout. After looking over the beer list we ordered our selection. The beer list was not up to date and they were out of a number of them. I'm a fan of pale ales and there were none to pick from. I settled on a wheat beer which was good. My SO order a mixed drink. Service was very slow. We had to attract a servers attention each time we wanted something. To their credit, they were all very friendly. We sat outside, it was like sitting on a couch, nice! I used to come here all the time but the past few times I've been it really hasn't been as fun as it used to be. The drinks and slowly gotten more and more weak, while staying the same price. Last night was probably my worst experience here ever. On top of an automatically added 20% gratuity regardless of what/how many drinks you order it was clear the staff was instructed to upsell everything that night. I was first offered Hendricks and told them I just wanted the house gin, which is fine because the guy listened. But my second drink was made with Tanqueray with me asking for it or being offered it. I don't like making a scene so I didn't say anything, just finished my drink and left. This one will be a very short one. I didn't eat here and just got a couple of beers at the outside beer. It wasn't bad, the business was pretty slow for a Monday night, but the service was pretty good. Overall, that's it about my experience here. They have a full bar and beer and it was pretty empty. I'm guessing there's a club here, but as with all clubs it's probably so-so. It's not anything high class here, and let's just say it's a sports bar/outdoor deal. This place is lowkey a total sh*t-hole. The womens bathroom is missing a stall door and missing locks on at least 3 other doors. No main door to the mens bathroom so plan on seeing random junk as you walk by. Above all though, they auto-gratuity 20% on the checks (usually auto grat is 15-18%) which is more generous than I would've been considering the service. The slimiest part is that in addition to the automatic tip, they still leave a tip line and total line in attempt to deceive customers into leaving an extra tip on top. So shady!!!! Came here for brunch on a Sunday to celebrate my friend's birthday. It's definitely a different venue and experience during the day. You are served both the lunch and breakfast menu. The waitress was really nice about helping us split the checks, since you're only able to split it 5 ways. The fans were also blowing on us and she was really accommodating, standing on the side and unplugging the fans. Most of us ordered the bottomless mimosas, which she came to refill very well. The wait wasn't that long, and I loved the options of sides you are given! Definitely go for the tater tots! While you wait, there are a bunch of games to play outside and lots of screens with sports games playing. They have large jenga, corn hole and connect 4. I got the standard burger with tater tots. Everything was warm, decently seasoned. Nothing too extremely special, but still tasted good. It was standing room only and people were sticking around. Me, on the other hand... I had two drinks and left. I wanted to go somewhere I could sit, eat, and have a couple drinks. You can tell it's a fun sports bar environment, big TV's, great crowd, good drinks, bar food...
