This place used to be really good. We hadn't been in a while. Went yesterday for my daughter's 10th birthday. They now charge kids by their height not their age. So since she is tall for her age, she was charged as an adult. My 13 year old was charged as an adult as well. We paid $70 for 5 of us when in the past, we paid $45. My children didnt eat that much as the food wasnt fresh and they got rid of the nuggets. The only thing fresh was the hibachi grill and sushi. The staff's attitude's were the worst. Everyone knows hibachi is my thing but holy crap I've never seen such a place. We walk in it's beautiful then you sign in.. they sign you in you wait for you to be seated and once seated we got our drinks and waited took longer then it should have. Then we go up to get our food everything we got was hot but not hot it was disappointing. The sever was extremely rude and I thought maybe she's just having a bad day but when we came back another time it was the same way rude rude rude. Great food at a great price! My husband and I were looking for a filling dinner for reasonable price. We read the reviews and almost didn't go. I'm so glad we ignored those negative reviews. The price was outstanding, $10.99 per person. The place was clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and very attentive. There are tons of options for all tastes. I live right down the street from here and thought I'd give my two cents on it. Firstly, as constantly mentioned, the price is outstanding. For a place that offers the array of sushi, Chinese, and American cuisine as Hibachi does, you can't beat $10 for dinner (plus roughly $2 for a drink). The service is satisfactory; not that much needs doing from your waitress. They take your drink order - and are sometimes slow to catch on that you need a refill, or to come around with a replacement - and they clean your table after you've left. Also, they sometimes try to usher you out by handing you your fortune cookies and thank you's a little soon, but I've honestly come to ignore it. Some may complain that they don't replace the dishes fast enough. I've only had this problem once, and it was on a Sunday - during which, they had trouble initially finding a seat for myself and my friend - so I'm not surprised. Bear in mind that they're only human and can't constantly be sure of which dishes are going to run out when and how frequently they do so. Hibachi is ALWAYS packed so give them the benefit of the doubt. At least, that's what I always do. This is basically my go-to place for a filling eat-out meal at a decent price with a close friend. My suggestion, if you don't have an aversion to it, is to try the coconut shrimp. Never a disappointment and I've yet to see the same thing at the Parkville location (maybe they only serve it there at lunch or on specific days and I've missed it; don't know). read more

Its actually good fresh food. I was there Sunday, and there food was good. We had a great family time. Our kids love the desert fruit section. The only reason I'm giving it a four star its because it was packed with people, and tables were place to close to each other. So we kept bumping each other. You know that one place you're ashamed that you love just because it's such a sketchy place? This is that place for me. While it's not as good as its sister shop in Towson, this is still your best bet if you're starving and have ten bucks. As far as buffets go, you can never expect much, but this one actually keeps some quality with their quantity. Large selection of Chinese food, fresh hibachi, and sushi all for one low price. Some of the American foods look a bit less appetizing, but the Chinese dishes have always been just as good as my local take out place. The sushi here isn't as good as Towson which is my chief complaint. That sushi is actually great for what it is. We go here once a month, usually after running a race (You know - carb replenishing). For the price of $10 (not incl drink), you can not beat it. This is one of the better Chinese American buffets in the area. This location is better than their Manassas, VA location. I believe they are the only location that serves blue crabs and big clams. The sushi is so so here but they do not slice the fish thin because it is a buffet. The selection is pretty good here and I really enjoy the mongolian bbq. I had never had Hershey ice cream but it seems to be full of air. Chinese, Japanese (including sushi), American, and a Hibachi grill to boot. choose your own raw ingredient mixture, they cook it up on the spot, you add the sauce afterwards. the selection in each area of the buffet is vast as is the amount of food they supply. its not 5 star Chinese food but you get a great taste and fill for your buck. its great for groups of friends and their desserts are better than most Asian buffets. its about 11 dollars per person so if you can afford it its a nice experience. just dint come during prime dinner hours at anytime or you're screwed on a wait time and a line out the door, come during the early bird dinner times. read more

Although there is a vast Quantity of food, almost Vegas style in comparison, the Quality is very poor. I was looking for a place to get Chinese food and heard this place was good. I saw how many areas of food they have and was optimistic. As far as Chinese goes, they have okay fried rice and sauces but that was where things ended. The meat was tough, fatty, or just plain bad. I even tried a little of most everything in case I just got one bad serving. You know it is bad when you find yourself spitting the food back out. The customer service was okay but the hibachi grill was severely lacking. I will say the food off the hibachi grill was the only thing that kept me from asking for our money back. I have eaten at a number of Chinese buffets but this was by far the worst. Perhaps as a buffet this place is okay but not as a Chinese buffet. Came here with family for a birthday dinner, have been here before not the greatest but not bad, we asked about several missing things from the buffet and was told they are busy or that certain things are only served for dinner. We paid dinner price as it was dinner time. We asked for our money back and the cashier went off and came at our 80 year old mother. I don't mind this place. I love their lemon pepper fish, coconut glazed shrimp, among a few other things. Although, lately I've noticed quite a few photos of roaches inside their restaurant going around on Facebook. I have not personally noticed any, but my husband is an exterminator and seeing the photos is enough for us to stop going for now. My biggest gripe is with their waitresses. Multiple times I've had a waitress pick my son up out of his high chair and start walking around with him. Didn't ask. Just picked him right up! Once before a waitress took a spoon out of my hand and started feeding my son mashed potatoes. I sat there with my jaw dropped. The worst time was when our waitress sat at our table and was trying to feed my son, was touching all over his bottle and ninny. We were trying to express to her we were uncomfortable but she insisted on sitting and playing with him. She sat at our table the entire time we were there except when she refilled drinks and dropped off checks to her other tables. Maybe it is their culture or they are just overly friendly. I don't know, but I don't take kindly to having someone pick up my child and walk off or taking a spoon from my hand and feeding him, and especially not to someone sitting at my table during my entire dinner. read more
