DO NOT eat here unless you like MOLD in your food!!!! My friends and I went here to have dinner last night and when I went to try one of the cakes I was shockingly surprised that the bottoms of them were covered in mold. The manager offered a small discount of my meal but then kept attempting to blame the issue on their "distributor" or whatever which implies that the food wasn't even prepared fresh there at the restaurant in the first place. The manager then had the audacity to say "don't put anything bad about this online, okay." Ummm, no, not okay. People have the right to know the risks they're taking with their own health in eating at your disgusting restaurant. Amazing all of the 1 star ratings. I gave it a 1 star rating because each time I went, I was hoping it would get better but it never did. I like fresh food, and when fruit has turned brown, corn on the cob is cold and the sushi is dry and crusty, you know freshness isn't their priority. My understanding is that restaurants aren't suppose to keep food leftovers and serve it the next day. They do. Their menu never changes and their food never gets better. Their prices have gone up since they closed during the pandemic. They use to serve Ice Cream for desert, but not anymore. They do include a soft drink in your meal price. Came here on a recent Saturday. We had a party of 21 and made reservations. Because we were late by 10 minutes they gave our table to another party. We waited about 10 to 15 minutes for another table...no biggie Here is why I am giving them a 1: 1. Food- not fresh at all. Crab legs , cooked fish and all seafood tasted "fishy"- never a good sign. Husband got sick the next day with pretty bad diarrhea and vomiting. The mongolian noodle section was good and the variety of cooked foods was satisfactory. This place needs to have air conditioning; it's so hot. The grills were not clean, and we got cups with white stuff. I'm assuming it's soap residue. The buffet food tasted old and reheated. This buffet is one of the best! So much variety at an affordable price! We went on a Saturday night and I believe it was only 12 or 13$ a person with good quality selection. There was the traditional items like salmon, pizza, beef and broccoli and there were unique items like frog legs!!! There was a sushi bar that had a nice variety but also came with eel sauce and spicy mayo. There was also Mongolian bbq which had a bunch of different meat to choose from including steak! The salad bar was also great and had kimchi which is my favorite. The deserts were the typical Asian buffet cheap mini cakes but the ice cream was the best. I think it was thriftys ice cream but honestly somehow it tasted sooo much better better. The service was phenomenal! The food is disgusting now. I don't know what happened but everything is awful. The beef in the beef and broccoli is grey, the seafood all tastes super fishy and off, the meat is tough even after all the tenderizer they use, the rice in the fried rice is hard. They don't even run the grill at the hibachi grill anymore so if you want a steak it's going to be cooked on a flat top and taste like everything else that was cooked on it all night. Our drinks are sitting empty and the tables are crammed so close together you can't even walk through them without being super awkward. Found a new place to go for decent mongolian grill/chinese buffet. Upon arrival for lunch on a Tuesday, the cheerful host greeted us and walked us to a table. Our drinks were brought quickly. Enjoyed the chicken dishes, Hibachi chicken being my favorite. The crab rangoons were fresh and delicious. The variety of fresh fruits was great. Loved the fresh papaya. Actually the variety of sweets/desserts was more than anticipated, they had a banana pudding dish made with almond cookies on the bottom along with cut up bananas that was tasty. Came in at around 7pm on a Saturday. It wasn't too busy so we were seated immediately. Water and drink refill service was always quick. The selection of food was pretty standard for Chinese buffets. Tried one of everything, some meats were kept hot and others were warm/room temperature. Didn't try the hibachi grilled foods. The sushi was constantly running out, but was being made fresh every time. The crab legs were delicious and easy to crack. I guess I don't understand some of the reviews unsatisfied with quality or temperature of their food. For the price of a one item at any other Asian establishment or a Jersey Mike's regular sandwich you have so many items to choose from. Also, it's a buffet and the food does sit a bit at times, but that is the meaning of a buffet. Readily available when you want it. As Chinese food buffets go, this has to be the best one in the IE! The service is great, which is surprising for a buffet, they fill your drinks and take your plates quick before you even ask. The selection is amazing! I especially love their Mongolian bbq section, which also has steak and shrimp. Everyone is seemingly welcoming and friendly. The place is clean, given it is new, but clean is always good. This is my second time here and the quality hasn't changed since the first time.
