We stopped here while on a business trip. It's definitely a good place to grab lunch at a reasonable price. Especially if you are with a lot of people or people who want different things! I was surprised by how many options they had. There were multiple hot food bars, a sushi bar, a cold food bar as well as desserts. My favorite was the hibachi station. Here you can fill your plate with a number of different options on a buttet style line, from noodles and meats to veggies and sauces. They cook it on a large grill in front of you. (a sped up version of a traditional hibachi experience) I really liked the cook that was there, he was nice and remembered my preferences when I went up. I was also able to customize my meal per my dietary preferences which was nice. The rest of the food was good, what you would expect from Asian buffet restaurant. The main appeal was the options offered. It was also about $10 for lunch and included a soda. This is the type of restaurant where you pay at the entrance and help yourself. Updated. The buffet has been severely paired down and offers far fewer choices than they previously did. One whole island of hot foods (out of 4 total) sits empty. Dirty tables, hard to get a refill on a drink. Prices have been raised significantly. Most of the sub-par sushi items were left unfilled and empty. Presentation is awful. Far more non-asian items like pizza bagel bites and other thaw and naw items. No brown rice, no dumplings, no wontons, almost empty dessert bar, no chocolate fountain in operation. WARNING: DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Consider yourself forewarned! I purchased one buffet. I never saw a single employee for the next hour and never received a drink, making eating very uncomfortable. Obviously I did not leave a tip. When I got my credit card bill, the restaurant had added a $50 tip to my meal!!! I reported this to the Better Business Bureau. But when the restaurant denied stealing from me, and my receipt had been long thrown away, there was no proof. Lesson learned. Decent enough for a Chinese buffet though the Chinese stuff on the line was drenched in sauce or you were digging through vegetables to get to the meats. Lots of non-Chinese stuff up there for the folks who prefer lasagna, roast beef, sausages or cheese pizza. A reasonable sushi table though most of the maki rolls were either fried or loaded in sauces. The nigiri included salmon, tuna, shrimp and crab stick but these were not restocked while I was there. The rice was a bit dried out, which is the usual experience with a Chinese place that tries to do sushi. The chocolate fountain was interesting. And there was self-serve ice cream. read more

I believe this restaurant is just mid. (mediocre for the people that have no clue what slang is) The food doesn't seem to be fresh and the management never really replaces old food. For instance, when I went to have a meal with my family, the fries were so hard that they seemed inedible. Moreover, the food lacks flavor most of the time, and sometimes they add excessive condiments. The only decent thing about this place is the sushi, but even that is not great. The place looks great though and it has a calming ambiance and that's the only thing that is keeping me from giving it a one-star. read more

So much good food! This place has everything! They have of course the normal Asian buffet foods plus some things I've never seen before at any other buffets, plus a Hibatchi Station and a Sushi station and don't forget about the huge chocolate fountain! Even my Sprite tasted extra good today! For the families that have that one picky person, there is a station just for American food. Oh and of course they have pizza. When I ordered chicken teriyaki for $14.74 a plate, it was a surprise to bite into and get cut by a 1/2 inch piece of stainless steel wool. They offered money back or more food. They can keep it. When I showed them they just said sorry. They came out to my car while I was writing this review. If that was left on the grill by accident what else was left on the grill? What do you think a 1/2 inch price of razor sharp stainless steel would do to a person's intestines? What about a child's stomach? Not worth the risk. Even worse, not even offering to do anything until I am in my car writing a review. I would not suggest eating here. I mean, it cut my gums when I bit down on it man... come on. The hibachi chef was fun and very very sweet. He understood I couldn't have butter or oil and so he rinsed a spot and steamed my food on the grill. It was delicious and I'm so glad he went that far to assure my food quality was acceptable. I do wish there were more raw fish variety (sashimi, more nigiri choices) but overall it's a fantastic place :) will return! read more

The only thing worth it is the hibachi but today the beef and pork didn't look fresh. They have a huge selection on main buffet but it's kind of hit or miss. They have too many American food options as well, it's an Asian buffet there should be more Asian food. The ragoons are too bland I prefer them slightly sweet and these are savory. The desert bar is mostly store bought cakes, cookies and ice cream. The sushi is I only come here because it's cheap and close by, I miss China Star it had a great selection of Asian food. A lot of the staff is friendly, but some are more friendly to the regulars. The restaurant is fairly clean for a buffet with kids running around it. They also have a glass case with Asian sculptures, like Jade book choy and dragons. In the entrance there is a large fish tank when you walk in. read more

Hibachi's just opened up just a few weeks ago. I've been wanting to try it, just hadn't had the time too. My girlfriend and I went tonight for their dinner buffet. We enjoyed it, it's just like another Japanese restaurant but it has a huge buffet, it has about 7 tables, you have your regular buffet tables, then your sushi bar, and then your hibachi bar as well. Before you leave you gotta try the chocolate fountain. Good stuff. read more

I don't care what anybody says, I like this place a lot. A pound of crab legs for $5 and a giant chocolate fountain. I couldn't ask for a whole lot more than that. Reasonable prices and nice, clean restaurant with a big variety to choose from on the buffet. Also has sushi here. Friendly staff and every time I'm here my waitress keep my drink full. Just left the restaurant, and I actually feel a bit of sympathy for the owners and staff. The food wasn't terrible. The customers, however, were absolutely disgusting. Children were running around barefoot, and several older kids were dipping their fingers in the chocolate fountain, licking them, and putting them back in it. For a buffet it was really great. I went for the sushi only. Seaweed salad tasted as good as any other I've ever had and I enjoyed most of my sushi. The tempura was a little chewy. Overall I was very pleased with the selection and price. My family of 4 enjoyed our meal for $29. We will go back. read more

This is my favorite buffet in the world! The selection is huge! I highly recommend the hibachi- they are very nice and do a superb job on everything. The white sauce is my favorite. Nothing else is of very exceptional quality, but you can't expect TOO much if you're going to a buffet. This place is wonderful because of their selection, the ambiance (they play great music in here!), and the location. It's in a little strip mall off Gallatin and there's always plenty of parking. For dessert, check out the chocolate fountain, ice cream freezer, and little pink things. Not sure what they're called or what exactly they are, but they're delicious. read more

I've been to a bunch of different asian buffets. I must say that my experience at Hibachi's didn't stand out. They have a lot of different dishes to choose from, but most were lacking any real flavor. The sushi there sucks, so does the the selection of sushi to choose from. Came here a lot and it was okay-general buffet food-but gave two stars because the last time I went everyone got sick with tragic avalanche diarrhea and ruined our vacation. We left the next morning for the beach and everyone had by to stop every five minutes due to stomach illness. One person even got the flu--which isn't really Hibachi's fault but the food poisoning was. We all ate very different things and everyone still got sick. 5 days on the toilet instead of being on the beach was what this place cost us, so yeah I won't be going back or recommending it to anyone, but like I said: I've gone many times and came out fine, but the one time I bring my family we got poisoned so forget it.
