popcorn chicken
Wenli N.

This is such a classic drink and asian fusion spot! I love their drink menu (Golden Milk Tea is SOOOO good), and their food items are even more extensive (but the popcorn chicken is a staple to eat with your drink of choice). Honestly everyone needs to try this place when you are heading to the South Bay area.

Always friendly people. Their drinks are always good. Haven't had anything that wasn't good yet. Definitely a regular place to check out.

It was my first time here. Honestly,I used to live near this place but wasn't able to visit it. My plan was to try the Ube Vietnamese coffee. I didn't saw it at the menu at the top screen so I ordered Matcha smoothie instead since i love matcha. I wasn't dissappointed because it's good. The cashier told me that they still carry it(she is nice ) then I saw it was posted near the counter . I'm gonna come back and try the Ube Vietnamese coffee.. Edit: back after few hours. The Ube Vietnamese coffee and popcorn chicken is good.

Went to for a lunch meeting. Nice a cozy place that serve pho and drinks. The cashier was "nice" because she had to but she didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Food wise, very typical pho. Drink was way too sweet. They didn't have the option to choose level of sweetness.

The pad Thai always slaps! The vibe is clean, and open. I'd increase the monitors so guest can view more options to order while dining in.

I've been coming here since it's opening and I have never really gotten anything other than their garlic noodles and popcorn chicken. I think they have the best popcorn chicken in the area. The portions are a great size. Their drinks are too sweet for me so if you don't like sweet I wouldn't order a drink. I think the actual place could use a fave lift. It feels a little dark and run down. We came to eat around 7pm on Friday and it was very empty. The food came out quick as well.

Pad Thai Noodles. Delicious.

My first time here. Nestled in a new development with a small shared parking lot behind the building. From the parking lot, you have to walk to Carson, around The UPS Store to Hiccups. The entrance is actually facing the small patio area on the west side. A warm and comforting interior with plenty of seating. A large selection of food and drinks on the menu. I got the Pad Thai with Chicken and the Mango Mango Tea. The Pad Thai was delicious. The Mango Mango Tea was too sweet. I don't know if they could have adjusted the sweetness as I was never asked what level I wanted. Ok, bye.

Unbeatable Boba and food--this place is the best! The team is not only welcoming but also very attentive, ensuring your drinks and food are just the way you like them. The drink on the left is the Pink Flamingo--super tasty! On the right is Mango Mango, made to absolute perfection. And the boba? Honestly the best I've ever had--soft, chewy, and delicious! Hands down the tastiest garlic noodles and shaken beef garlic noodles I've ever tried. The noodles were perfectly al dente and full of flavor. I highly recommend!

Had a great experience getting the macadamia nut coffee my first time but when i came back this time it wasn't the same The strawberry and mango fruit teas were good, but they mixed up what level of sweetness we wanted. The popcorn chicken is fine but missing a little more of that classic sweet/pepper flavor that really hits, also sauce is 50 cents extra. Service was fine and the inside is cute but I'd probably only be back for the coffee

This is my go-to place when looking for a place to eat pad thai at night. I love that it is open late so that we can come over and get a delicious pad thai for dinner. I have tried many times the popcorn chicken and pad thai so that is what I will mention in this review. For starters, the popcorn chicken was very crispy and heavenly. It is makes a delicious lunch and tasty snack. The pad thai is my favorite to buy because it hits the spot all the time. The atmosphere is also excellent, being sorrounded with modern decor and a clean environment makes a perfect dining experiance. The service is pleasant, but I would also suggest if the waiters could greet us into the restaurant. But I still rate the service well because they do help at times.

Placed an order for pickup on Uber eats. Order was ready on time. They were quick with making the extra drink we placed there. -Combo fried rice. Didn't look as appetizing, but it had a good flavor. Would get it again. 3.75/5 -Jasmine milk tea. Your standard. It was good. I paid the up charge for no ice, and they still filled up the whole cup. 4/5 -House coffee. Would get again. 4/5 Overall, everything was good. Would still come back

Back like I never left.... still bomb! I've been going to Hiccups since they opened, but it had been a minute. Decided to place a delivery order and let me tell you - it brought me right back to why I loved this spot in the first place. I ordered chicken Pad Thai with no tofu, no green onions (I like them chopped smaller), extra egg, extra peanuts, extra lime, and extra chili flakes (they forgot those, but I had my own) and most importantly, extra sauce. And yes, that sauciness came through! The flavor was bold, sweet, tangy, and rich. Every bite was just right. They followed almost all my special instructions, which is rare on delivery apps. Hot, fresh, flavorful, and generous portions. This order reminded me why they're still one of the best. Yaaaaaas!

Mango Mango Tea and Thai Milk Tea

We ordered Mango Mango (75 % sweetness) , a Thai tea, and Pad Thai noodles for dinner. The drinks were good. We enjoyed the Pad Thai with extra peanuts. The employees were kind to help us with some suggestions for the drinks. It's a cute local spot down the street from where we were staying.

Is there outlet if I want to work here?

Do they have vegan options?

Yes!

Do you have different pho soup bases besides beef? Am I allowed to exchange it with a different kind?

Unfortunately....we only have beef!

If we purchase the hiccups mason jar, can we opt-in using it instead of the disposable plastic cups they use for boba the next time we buy drinks?

The one I went to they said was a health code violation, this was the day after I had bought it, and I had washed it beforehand. It's a little annoying considering the reasons I bought one were for the size and that it's reusable. They told me I… Read more

Do they still have BBQ Pork vermicelli on the menu? I know other locations have removed this dish

They do not :/

Do they serve food all night? Or does the kitchen close at a certain time?

Yes, they serve food before closing.

Do they provide WiFi?

Yup

Do u get to keep the mason jars?

Yes

Is it good what would you recommend trying?

Try the daily lunch menu. Really inexpensive (great way to try something new) and the noodles and drinks are good.

I've never been here. Can someone recommend something great to try?

Honestly depends on what you like. Their flavors are great and the portions, in my opinion, can be split. I had their chicken fried rice and my kids had Mongolian chicken noodles and ate every bit of them. I wish I had seen their other options (I… Read more

There must be more parking somewhere, and when I find it, I will update my review. The service was very good in terms of speed. The coffee shop had a wonderful décor inside. What you may expect in a coffee shop; brown wood, lounge spots, study spots, bar spots; and this shop was pretty spacious. The café itself has a decent atmosphere, but it didn't really stand out to me compared to other coffee spots I've visited. I tried the Halo-Halo latte and the Bibingka latte. Both drinks were interesting and drinkable, but neither left a lasting impression. The flavors were unique and inspired by Filipino desserts, which I appreciated, but I found them more "good" than "great." I also ordered the Nutella Croissant, which was enjoyable but nothing particularly memorable. One thing that stood out was the pricing. The drinks and pastries felt a bit expensive for what they were, especially coming from Orange County where I feel like similar cafés offer comparable quality at lower prices. Since I was just visiting the area, the price difference was pretty noticeable. Overall, it wasn't a bad visit by any means. The drinks were okay, the food was okay, and the service was fine. I'm glad I gave it a try, but it's probably not a café I'd go out of my way to recommend or revisit. If you're nearby and curious about Filipino-inspired coffee drinks, it may be worth checking out once, but I wouldn't consider it a must-visit spot.

My friend and I stood in line for about 15 minutes, and once we ordered, our drinks were ready in less than five minutes. I chose the lavender matcha, and I was impressed by how well the two flavors balanced each other. Neither overpowered the other, making for a smooth and enjoyable drink. My friend ordered the hibiscus lemonade and found it light and refreshing. One of the best parts of visiting is being able to enjoy your drinks in the spacious outdoor seating area around The Enclave. Prices were reasonable at around $6-$7 per drink, and the cashier was friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience, and I can see why this spot is so popular.

Today, we were on our way to Orange County and wanted to grab some coffee along the way. The shop is located in a really cute center with a great ambiance. There always seems to be a line, which is usually a good sign. The staff does a fairly good job serving a large number of customers, but despite that, it still took us about 20-30 minutes to get our order. The coffee was good, but not great--definitely not the best I've had. I hate writing negative reviews, but I wanted to share my honest experience and break it down individually. We ordered a flat white, which was crafted nicely, so I would give that a 5/5. As for the taste of the coffee itself, I thought it was average and would rate it a 3/5. My wife enjoyed it a bit more and would give it a 4/5. One thing I did not like was the milk they use. It is the cheapest milk you can buy, and I personally feel that a gourmet coffee shop should invest in higher-quality milk. For that reason, I would give the milk a 1/5. Ratings: * Coffee Craftsmanship: 5/5 * Coffee Taste: 3/5 (4/5 according to my wife) * Milk Quality: 1/5 * Ambiance: 5/5 * Service: 4/5 Overall, I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. I personally lean closer to a 3, but my wife insists it deserves a 4, so I'll settle on 4 stars since there isn't a 3.5-star option. I think it's worth trying for yourself and forming your own opinion. In my personal view, the coffee and overall experience were not worth the wait, but it may be worth visiting at least once to see what all the hype is about.

Parking was easy, and when we walked in, there was only one occupied table. Three employees were chatting in the back. We were greeted, but it felt more like, "What would you like?" than "Welcome in." No smile, no conversation, no thank you--just a transaction. After taking our order, the employee returned to chatting with coworkers. When our order was ready, our name was called, the halo-halo was placed on the counter, and that was the end of the interaction. As for the halo-halo itself, my partner rated it a 2/10. It was overwhelmingly sweet and overpriced for what we received. We were hoping for layers of flavor and nostalgia but got a sugar rush that could probably power a small city. As a business owner myself, I understand that customer service is one of the biggest drivers of customer retention. Great products can bring people in once, but great service brings them back. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on both. The good news? These issues are fixable. A little more warmth, engagement, and hospitality would go a long way. Until then, we'll continue our search for our next favorite halo-halo spot.
