I was happy to see that Hidden Pizza was open for the weekend as it's perfect for when you're out playing. Unfortunately the recipe has changed and the crust is now hard and chewy, nowhere near what it tasted like pre pandemic. It also doesn't appear that you can buy slices anymore? Not the most amazing pizza but definitely better than frozen pizza. The slices are huge but extremely thin so it actually isn't as much as it looks like. It's a great spot when you have drunk munchies. Is that even a word? Anyway, you get what I meant. They sorta close whenever they feel like depending how busy it is. read more

So hi all...so here I go...First of all never knew this place was here nor when it opened..my buddy sent me a text about grabbing dinner and I was sure am almost off work what you feel like..he said let's try this new pizza joint inside Eldorado ..I was sounds good and something new..so we went around 6-615ish..it's located right across from Brew Brothers...Went in looked at what they had out..they had the typical cheese pizza and Pepperoni and few other options..I decided to stay safe and take one slice of pepperoni and one slice cheese and a drink came to about 9bucks....meh little pricey to me it wasn't worth it..the crust had a little too much dough left on the bottom...and I didn't realize till my buddy told me and I look like Dave chapelle...Lolll...not sure how long they have been open but I think am give them one more chance.... read more

So this place is really hidden not bad, but too much flour on the bottom of the pizza so yes, get a soda or something you will need it. Not a bad price per slice and they are of a decent size. The staff was great so this is not about them rather the pizza is really not all that great. but hey if you're out late and hungry before 2am this place could be a good stop. read more

First off, let me start this by saying the staff was SUPER friendly and ok, I get it, Covid had to change the concept BUT it didn't have to change the pizza!! Pre-pandemic this was AMAZING pizza and I always looked forward to coming out and grabbing a couple of slices. Grabbed a couple of pies last night and it really just isn't good at all; the sauce was basically tasteless tomato paste and seemed to have no spices in it at all and the mozzarella definitely not whole milk muzzerell. Again, I get it, you can't make 30 inch pies anymore and have people standing around waiting for them and that's ok but make smaller pies with the same recipe and ingredients. Really excited when I saw Hidden Pizza was open again but I won't be back after the having the "new" Hidden Pizza. Maybe change the name so locals who used to go in there a lot know it's not the same establishment. read more

This is easily the best slice of pizza in Reno. Reminds me pizza from Philly or New York. The service is fast too.

Once again I find myself judging New York style pizza while not in New York. So if your in Reno give it a try. The texture is a little off but overall it will pass. The only draw back is lack of sauce. Ask for extra sauce and have them cook it a little more. It needs more of the slightly crunchy crust. read more

Was passing by Reno and decided to stop at the ElDorado Casino/Hotel for the night.. since it was late on a Tuesday, a lot of the restaurants in the casino were closed. This place is like finding an oasis in the desert. After a few drinks and a delicious (but overpriced) gourmet meal we were starving for some greasy food. There it was, Hidden Pizza. As I jumped for joy I asked my husband please please please can we do pizza. We were welcomed by such a nice staff and I surprised my husband with the greatest gift- slice+a PBR. What a perfect way to end a great night and Hidden Pizza will always be a favorite of ours. My wife and I have been to the El Dorado and the Silver Legacy a number of times, but had not tried this pizza place. After walking in, a group of three or four employees were a few feet away from the counter all huddled around a phone or something. We approached the counter and did not get even a hint of acknowledgment from the staff. I had to say, "Excuse me..." to finally get their attention. I asked how long they would be open, and the female employee kind of shrugged and said, "around 2:30 or something ilke that". Popped in for some late night grub less than 30 mins before closing. The two fellas working were fantastic. Not only did they not give us any attitude about coming in late they were super friendly. We go the biggest pizza they make-half veggie/half meats. Per The suggestion of the gentleman ringing us up I tried to sliders for $3.50. Great suggestion! The sliders were made fresh with a generous amount of mozzarella and sauce. Absolutely delicious. We took the pizza back to our room. It was so big that we had some left over for breakfast. Pizza was mediocre, but not at all overpriced. Slice of pizza was a big nice size. I got the all meat pizza, and didn't find it to be particularly interesting or impressive. It wasn't terrible. It was just "average" to me. But it worked for me, as I was alone and wanted affordable pizza for one without having to buy a whole one at the other pizza shop inside Circus Circus food court. Hidden Pizza seems to have odd hours. I was in Reno for 4 days, including weekend, and they were closed every time I walked by, then finally open on a Tuesday. Overall a quick affordable bite to eat if you don't feel like spending a lot of time and/or money on a restaurant. read more

Having tried this place a couple of times,after a late night hunger attack,I have got to say that Hidden pizza just flat-out misses on my radar because the crust is thin,soggy,tasteless,and NOT worth 4 plus dollars.If the crust was better,by that I mean,I probably would give it more stars. This is the best NY style pizza in Reno, by far. If this place was in NY, it would definitely be amongst the best there too. The dough is perfect, the sauce is fresh and the proportion of cheese is ideal. They usually don't have a lot of options on the counter (just like any NY pizzaria), but you can choose the ingredients and make your own pie. I wish they would deliver. Went there the second day it was open. Pizza was mediocre to fair. My party tried to combo, pepperoni, and white pizza. Each was way too salty. The newspaper announcement made it seem like a restaurant. It isn't. Just a counter with a few stools. Unless you are staying at the Eldorado, I cannot recommend it. Both Noble Pie and Imperial Lounge are much better and only 2-3 blocks away. read more
