This place was incredible. We went before the Lady Gaga concert a month ago and it was packed when we went in because I think everyone had the same idea. We were told it was an hour wait for a table, then five minutes later they told us our table was ready. Weird but we didn't question it! The appetizers were great. We ordered the crispy brussel sprouts and the still fries. They were both delicious but the fries had so much flavor. If you love Boursin cheese as much I do, order these. The pit beef sandwich was very flavorful, and not dry at all. The ribs though! I'm salivating thinking about them. I have never seen meat fall off a rib like that. They were so tender and juicy, and the barbecue sauce had so much flavor to it. For how packed they were, the service was great and so quick! Definitely recommend! read more

We have dined at the previous location in Lebanon and enjoyed it very much. Yesterday we gave their new location a try and it was decent, crowded and it's a good idea to make a reservation. Our server was perfect, knew the menu well and was extremely attentive. We started out with the wings and we're not impressed with the size and price of $16.00. Wings we're small and crispy, the 3 sauces were great but not worth the price ! Dinner was the full rack of ribs which were outstanding, the meat fell off the bone so these were cooked perfectly, the sauce was spot on, the sashed potatoes were dry and had no flavor .... My partner and I tried Hidden Still Spirits this past Friday. I just happened across it on Yelp, but otherwise had not heard of this place before. Am I lucky we found it though! We both had a cocktail - mine a cherry gin bees knees and hers a lavender mule. Both cocktails were delicious. We both had the strip steak with truffle butter, crispy onions, asparagus, potatoes and steak sauce. The steak was cooked pretty well, seasoning on point, the butter was legit - I asked for more to go with my leftovers. Potatoes, asparagus and the sauce were all good - I thought the steak was honestly flavorful enough on its own though. Last up we had banana peanut butter cheesecake. Holy moly Batman - delicious. Besides the awesome food and cool ambiance, the best part was the service. Our server, Ray, was so freaking nice. He offered suggestions, was so polite, and attentive without being too much. Delightful lunch today at Hidden Still. Weather was perfect to sit out on the patio with B and a tasty DIPA from an unfamiliar local brewery. Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Menu is great with a variety of dishes, and the bar menu was similarly varied, with beer, wine, seltzers and cocktails. The chicken sandwich was delicious, nicely spicy and not fatty. B's rib sandwich also got high praise. We'll definitely be back. (Note: The opening of their indoor dining room has been delayed again by supply chain issues, now estimated a December-January.) read more

Could not have been happier with the food. Randal was a great server and overall the staff had a great vibe. Everyone had a smile and seemed upbeat. They also seemed to work well together; tables were bussed quickly no issues with food/drinks. However we sat by the order station near the staircase in the back and had the displeasure of witness the floor manager in action. The person was incredibly rude to the staff barking orders at them like they weren't people. It does not seem like the manager values the staff at all. The manager was so embarrassingly rude, that I wouldn't go back, at least not until they address a fundamental issue of their management team. It costs $0 to treat people, especially a staff/team that is working hard for you, with decency and dignity. I hope the company can address this need ASAP. read more

Loved the vibes of this restaurant. The inside was so nice and felt very large. We sat on the second floor and would highly suggest that area for seating. The food was top notch! It was extremely fresh and seasoned perfectly. Get the bread basket with the cinnamon butter. Trust me.. you won't regret it. The service was just as great as the food. I have been going to Hidden Still since my daughter turned 21, about four years. I am a latecomer to craft cocktails and we both learned to appreciate them through the skill of bartenders like Taryn and others. None of them is still there. It seems like HS is a victim of its own success...the quality and balance of the drinks is not the same (an apple cider sour I had recently tasted primarily of sour mix, not much of bourbon and not at all like apple cider). The bartenders seem rushed to just get drinks made and out. And there's still an issue with food being room temperature; this has happened in my last several visits. Had reservations for four on Saturday night and were seated promptly. Our waitress, Morgan, was just the right amount of attentive all evening. She was there when we needed her, but certainly didn't hover. Although we didn't try any of their spirits, the food we had was delicious. I had fish and chips. The portion of fish was huge and there were plenty of fries. The buttermilk cream slaw was an added bonus. My hubby had the turkey BLT&A sandwich. He said the sandwich was very good and he doesn't usually eat chicken sandwiches. He also had a big basket of fries which he enjoyed. She gave very good service and checked in about 6-8 times. Very nice that she brought the kids food out with the appetizer. She was very on it. Our order: Pretzel braid with beer cheese appetizer: The pretzel was between ok and good. The beer cheese dip was more of a thick smear. It was more than enough to share. It came out nice and hot. But it seemed more of a wheat pretzel. (4/5) Drinks: Rosemary Bramble: Gin, triple sec, lime, raspberry, blueberry, orange peel, rosemary - 9 (very tasty. It didn't see the rosemary in it. Nor did I taste it much. But the gin may have been floral enough to mask the taste. This was a fantastic drink. Very smooth. (5/5) Western Elk Burger: The server suggested medium. The meat was a little cold in the center. And I didn't notice the Gorgonzola cheese. Mushrooms were present but not many. The jam was very good. $20.00 (4/5) Fish and Chip Tacos: The cracker crusted flounder was fantastic. The flavor of the slaw was perfect. And tacos were presented well. $15 (5/5) Kids Chicken Fingers: They were very plentiful, cooked nicely, fries were good, fruit was ok. Ice cream and soda came with it. $10 (4/5) Bathrooms were very nice and CLEAN. That means the kitchen is taken care of! With tip, bill was about $80. We enjoyed our 1st trip to HSS and would go again. There were tons of drink choices and lots of specials for cinco de Mayo. In addition to the food below, we also had the smoked shrimp cocktail which was good but would've preferred the shrimp to be less cold. It was like they were just taken from the walk-in and would've been better not so cold. But the shrimp were huge and yummy. The beet salad with salmon was the best food that night and I loved the white balsamic vinaigrette. We also had the ricotta cheesecake, which my hubby enjoyed. This distillery is a cool spot with good food and drink selection. Sat at the bar and had great service. Ahi tuna nachos were good but wished there was more tuna. The wasabi aioli was delicious and I usually don't eat wasabi but it was creamy and the wasabi was not overwhelming. I got the chicken apple and Brie sandwich and it was way too sweet. The fig jam is just too much, but the apple slices and sweet potato bun were good. The menu had a lot of options so I will just try something else next time. read more

Great Distillery offering hearty food choices for everyone. Pierogi Poutine appetizer had great taste and definitely was worth a try. Chicken Parm Scallopini and Meatloaf were both ordered by my table and enjoyed. I appreciated the kids menu choices were not just the same cardboard pizza and boxed Mac and cheese. They offered some great, healthy choices. Service was also very attentive and appreciative, thank you to Randall! Great place to grab a drink and a bite whether you're visiting or a local. We came around 4pm on a Thursday night and it was quickly packed by 6pm so i imagine you need to make reservation for weekends and popular holiday. For the food, we had Ahi Tuna Nacho and Octopus Bruschetta for appetizer. Vegan Skewer Meatball and Meatloaf and Mac for entrée. The appetizers were interesting because they were fresher versions of their predecessor. The entrée were just alright. I found them a bit bland. Drinks were good. While visiting a friend in PA, she recommended we go to Hidden Still Spirits for a late lunch. We were seated in a very pretty, nouveau industrial dining area. You felt very much a part of the distillery and I guess that was the point. Our server, Julisa (sic) came up to our table ready to take our orders. We wanted to start off with some drinks while we perused the menu. My friend got a Hidden Still Rye Manhattan and I ordered a specialty drink called a Conundrum. It has a lot going on. It's their red label bourbon, lemon juice (which you could definitely taste as it was a lot), maple syrup (I couldn't taste it) an absinthe rinse (I smelled it but no taste), orange bitters, prosecco and cinnamon. It sounded so interesting but sadly it REALLY missed the mark. Way too sweet and sour. Oh well, they can't all be golden right? My friend ordered a braised short rib sandwich and I got the pulled pork. I like to get this in different states to see how it stands up. Usually in PA, I've had some amazing pulled pork. Sadly, this did not meet the mark. It did have a good flavor but it was very overdone and a little dry. What made the sandwich was a pepper cherry sauce. It was tangy and spicy at the same time saving the sandwich and making me want to finish it. Both sandwich's came with french fries. Yea. About the fries. They weren't good. They weren't crispy. The only thing they had going for them was the salty spice they shook over them (could've used more). Halfway thru the main course, I ordered the Holy Smoke drink. It's made with the Master's bourbon, maple syrup and Peychaud's bitters. It comes in this adorable little house smoker that the server sets off. You have to wait until it's smoked enough & for your server to take the top off. This was the drink I should have started with. This was AMAZING. I figured since my friend was a designated driver, I would go all in for a bar bill. I also tried a shot of chilled vodka (smooth but not much flavor), and a Sazerac. This was another disappointment. A good Sazerac is a very strong drink. This was NOT strong. You could smell the absinthe, but no taste of it. The rye had zero bite to it and not a lot of flavor. Sad. Over all, I had a lot of fun (and not just because I was in my cups) and it was a good time had by all. Our server was the sweetest and friendliest making a great ambassador for a new guest. The drinks prices were very reasonable. The lunch menu is pretty standard with salads, handhelds and the like. Julisa recommended we come back for dinner some time as the menu is more exciting. Love the upscale bar ambiance of this place. Also so much parking outside, so no street parking yay! We made a reservation for 6 people online about 3 hours before we planned to go, and it worked out very well. They sat us immediately when we got there. Very large food menu, and tons of spirits/liquor/cocktails/beer. Our group was very happy with the mahi mahi enchiladas and the pot roast, but they were not happy with the maryland meat sandwich (they thought the meat was tough and fries were just ok) and thought that the pulled pork was just okay. I would recommend sticking with the main entrees or burgers, as it seems like from our experience there that these are the dishes they do very well. Cool atmosphere and good food. If you have people coming in from out of town or a birthday or something it's a good choice for something special. The food was solid and drinks were drinks were good. The prices are higher but I'd say fair for the atmosphere and the food quality. The building is an old industrial brick building that has been nicely renovated. The family and I absolutely loved this place! The food was off the charts, at least for a distillery. In Jersey, we are not used to breweries or distilleries serving food let alone some really good stuff! It's very roomy and the staff was super friendly. They have a kids menu which we were surprised about but the kids liked their burgers (on a hotdog bun) and two sides. I did try their burgers and it was flavorful! The wife and I split two "handhelds": Short Rib Po Boy - it was fantastic! The bread was fresh and the meat was so tender. Maryland Style Pit Beef - the meat was delicious. The only gripe, the bread was soggy - maybe use the Po Boy bread. :-) For dessert the kids got ice cream (which comes with the kids meal) and we split their Peanut Butter Banana Cheesecake (oh so good!). They serve beer on draft, have tv's for games and of course spirits made in house. I did have a Old Fashioned which was good but not made great. Plenty of parking. They take reservations. Worth the 5 minute drive if staying on Hershey Property. ENJOY! read more
