I was so surprised at how many people were here and how big the dining area is. I just retired and moved from Las Vegas and there are hardly any dine in pizza restaurants left. The parking lot was full ! It reminded me of the old days when the family went to pizza restaurants and dined in , had a beer , played the jukebox , played some video games , and had a good family night. We started out with Garlic Knots with Marinara Sauce. They were fluffy , soft , and pretty good. I'm not really a fan of Garlic Knots , but my son and daughter in law like to get them. I also got a Small Just A Beginner Salad with Thousand Island Dressing and Croutons. It was fresh and the dressing was thick and good. I got it with no Black Olives also. We also had 3 Pepsis. I got a taster of their house APA and Ale and I wasn't a fan of either. Now to the main event. We got a Medium Thin Crust Pizza , Half and Half. One side Pepperoni , Italian Sausage , and Jalapeños. The other side Paradise Pizza with no Mushrooms and no Tomatoes. The Paradise Pizza is a white sauce. The pizza is very good. The crust was just the right thickness , not to thin and not to thick with a good flavor. I liked the Pepperoni , Italian Sausage , and Jalapeños side better than the Paradise Pizza. The Paradise Pizza is my daughter in laws favorite. It wasn't bad , I just prefer a more traditional pizza. By the bar there is a window where you can see the cooks making your pizza. They also have a bar for beer and mixed drinks. The decor is a little dark with big booths which is just like the old days , so I like it. They also give a 10% Military Discount which I appreciate since I'm a Veteran and not my places do that anymore. I was pretty impressed with the restaurant and the employees were friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend you coming to Hideaway Pizza to experience the good old days of eating out with the family and having a good hot and fresh pizza and spending time with each other. We went to the Memorial Road location the last time I visited and it was also very good. I've had the thin and regular crust. I think I like the regular crust a little more than the thin crust. read more

My fried mushrooms were soggy and fell apart when i picked them up. I had to put them in my air fryer to save them. I ordered a 18$ pizza and got a small who sets their prices that high for a small pizza. Are you trying to go out of business. Anyway i will never waste my money eating there ever again. This location doesn't seem as loud and crazy as others which is wild due to the packed parking lot. The cauliflower crust honestly doesn't get enough hype. It's INCREDIBLE!! Was in the area on way home from Midwest City... Needed a sit down lunch.... So I am going to leave all the good about this visit. I visit another Hideaway quite often but this was my first to this location... The order was simple to place and they had ample parking for customers. The exit of the parking lot was unique. The brother in law and nephew ordered Dr pepper that came out not Dr pepper. Maybe diet or too syrupy... They got it fixed after a few tries. The pizza they ordered was a sausage pepperoni pizza. 2 topping. It came out half pepperoni half sausage. Kinda strange. Didn't make a big deal of it because it took awhile to get the pizza out. Not mad just a I am about principal and accountability...this didn't make sense. The food was bomb as usual so thank you for that! If in the area...I might go to another Hideaway location if errors are consistent here. Questions - just reach out ! Grew up eating hideaway and I have to say this was the first time we had a bad experience at one. (Also our first time at this location) Service was awful our server Danielle W was very inattentive. Thankfully there was another server there with red hair and glasses who picked up the slack! Place was near empty but our app took 40min. Pizza was good. Drinks remained empty most of the time. Quite atmosphere though, very few other people there. Give it a try but be patient and maybe bring a water bottle. read more

I had heard not great things about this chain, but someone I look up to wanted to go. There was plenty of parking and we were seated immediately on a Saturday night! Our waiter, Ty, was top notch! He called us by name, never let our drinks run dry, and gave us menu advice. There were really unique options! The pizza was delicious! I loved the addition of Mandarin oranges to a traditional Hawaiian pie, and I added bacon because I believe in joy. This restaurant by far has the worst service ever. Isaiah is a idiot who has no concept of time, good service and probably doesn't even know how to tie his shoe. We came in, ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer...and a pizza. 15 minutes later we are looking for our mushrooms so Isaiah walks over and tells us that no one put in the mushroom order. So what exactly is your job again?... Cut to 20 minutes later after we received our fried mushrooms, got refills on our drinks and still no pizza. We ask where is our pizza? Isaiah said "it should be about 2 minutes"... Keep in mind this entire time my husband and I are deep in conversation... another 30 minutes past and still no pizza. By this time we have been in the restaurant for 1 hour! Albert Einstein (Isaiah) walks over with a stale ass pizza and proceeds to tell us that it was ready 20 minutes ago but someone in the back had our pizza in the to-go area and it's been sitting under the lamp for 20 minutes. This dummy actually tried to serve it to us. Frustrated, hungry and mad...we ask to speak to the manager. Jovan walks over and as we tell him what's happened he responds with "oh I didn't know that". Well of course you didn't know...as a manager I would think you would of corrected it immediately had you known. Jovan never said sorry, never offered to give coupons for another visit or anything. It's a half step above frozen pizza and there really is nothing worse than frozen pizza. This pizza has a horrible canned food service sauce. They use way too much of it. A flavorless crust that again is out of proportion to the pizza. There is no mystery here, these pizzas are baked on a belt. There is nothing to like here. That sauce is just so bad. We both had salads before dinner, the smallest size was a "just a starter" or something, which we both got. Seemed to be a huge plate of salad, maybe we both had large portions? Not sure. We are obsessed with Hideaway. I mean, once a week we go here for dinner easily. What I love is their weekday happy hour. From 3-7 (*I think) every weekday they have half priced drinks. Pair those with a few drinks (wine for me and beer or Bloody Mary for the mister) and it's divine. We also typically get a small pizza, we really just felt like the pizza was meh until one day we ordered the thin crust. Game. Changer. Come to the NW Expressway location at least once a week, Pizza is usually good, Tonight, it was not, it was Inedible, super doughy, and when they asked how it was, I told them it was not cooked and it was inedible, She went and got the manager, told him the same, he didn't care, so I told him it tasted like S**T, and he gave me attitude, when he should of said something like, Hey sorry about that we will get you another one, or hey no problem, this ones on the house, but no, He said well I will make a new one and overcook it just for you! (the what a dick came into my mind), but I did not say that, I said go ahead and make us another one. Another 15 minutes a new pizza, but by then we were all soda up and still mad about the attitude. Manager number 2 showed up, and asked how it was going, I informed him of manager 1 and his attitude. I told him we come here every week, and this is the first time, and I might not be back after this trip! Well we couldn't eat the new pizza either, so we boxed it up, paid the $34, and will chalk this up as a wasted experience.
