Great pizza, slow service. Ordered pizza ahead of time and waited curbside to pick it up. Waited and waited. Saw other complaining to the manager about the excessive wait time. Okay they are short staffed. I thought. 2 people came out to check for my order. Finally after waiting almost an hour, went inside inside and found the pizza had been waiting for over 20 minutes and nobody marked the spot I was waiting in for the pizza. This Hideaway replaced a saggy old Chili's and thank goodness. Hideaway is consistent: quality ingredients applied to solid, time-tested recipes, via good service at reasonable prices. I've always enjoyed this pizza, and even worked here for a time during college (Norman location). I can attest that it is a good company that takes pride in taking care of employees, treating long-time employees like family and providing a career path for the best of the best. All time fave: Paradise Pie with light cheese and light sauce. If I weren't concerned with calories, this is what I would always order (plus fried mushrooms and a just-a-beginner salad with parmesan peppercorn aka delish ranch, plus beers.) But I'm also happy to have any of the lighter pie with red sauce and lots of veggies. I love the Northwest Expressway branch for several meetings. They took a sad old building with lots of problems and fixed it up. Hideaway has the most versatile pizza menu in OKC. You want half alfredo sauce and half red sauce? Done. You want a different topping on each slice? Done. They have over 5.13791607e+11 different combinations available for your mouth. Or just go with a specialty pizza. My personal favorite is the Paradise Pie but I regularly go ATW. This is some of the best traditional American pizza you will find. The food is always tremendous and the experience is always unique. I've been to all the locations in OKC and Stillwater but this is the closest Hideaway to my house so it's my default Hideaway location. I've found it easy to get a seat for 2 or 4 at any time of the day. read more

Great atmosphere however horrible pizza. Sausage taste like breakfast sausage. Wasn't even completely cut. Even service from Derrick or Doug or whatever his name was. He had to be reminded of our order and then forgot son ask for dough so he brought it with the pizza. Took over 35 minutes just to get it to us. Yet other tables that were sat after us ate before us. Um...what?! This was voted the best pizza in Oklahoma? After recently moving to the OKC area, we were looking for some good pizza. Several people told us we had to try Hideaway. Seeing they were voted best in Oklahoma, we gave it a shot. We ordered the Mob Boss ( I think) and were greeted with a hot box of mediocrity. We ordered thin crust (which was neither thin, nor thick), sauce that was too sweet, and a pie that was just o.k. Now Wyoming is not a place known for pizza but I can think of at least 3 places better than Hideaway in little ole Cheyenne, WY. There were positives. It was fast, hot, and the service was fast. And it looked like there were tons of combinations and endless choices. I will try Hideaway again, but not until I've eliminated all other possibilities of finding a great pizzeria in OKC. Hideaway did nothing wrong, it just wasn't to my liking. If you are looking for a quick, decent place to bring the family, Hideaway would be a good place. Hidaway is always a great place to go for pizza! The pizza is always amazing and yummy. And yes, Pineapple goes on pizza! I love their on line ordering system. It's easy, fast and it's always ready when they say it will be. No delivery .. gotta run up there and get it. They offer an amazing gluten free pizza. It's a tad pricy but everything Gluten free is. The last couple of times (to go...always to go) have really been on point. Even with getting the fried mushrooms to go this location has recently continued to 'deliver' (the fried mushrooms are totally delicious!) A wee bit pricey, but worth it. read more

This was my first time to Hideaway Pizza. I just found out I am celiac and can't have any wheat or flour. Problem is....I LOVE PIZZA! My friend told me they have a gluten free pizza so I had to try it out. It was amazing! And the best part is - it didn't taste like I was eating a piece of cardboard. The staff brought my pizza out separate and was very careful not to cross contaminate it with the other pizzas, which I really appreciate. The waiter had our drinks full to the top the whole time we were there. The staff was more than helpful with our group. I will definitely be going back...many times I'm sure. read more

Okay - I am soooo happy that the Tweetza Pizza is back on the menu. I crave this baby when I've not had it in a while. To give you a heads up - here are the toppings: Pesto sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, sundried tomatoes, roasted garlic, artichoke hearts, cooked then topped with fresh basil and feta. However I ask them to add black olives and pineapples. It is my most favorite food on their menu. This last visit, we had an awesome waitress, who took extra care of my child and husband's food allergies. I love that their gluten free pizzas can come with any topping, whole other restaurants are limited on what comes as toppings. I highly recommend this location. read more

Tried hidaway well on a work trip and the food was good. The pizza was good and I thought it was the best part of the meal. I also tried one of thier pastas which was okay but I would not have it again. The service at hideaway however was not very good not to say it was the worst but our server only checked in on us once other than when she dropped of the check and I never got my drink refilled after I had asked when the food was dropped of. I don't think I would come here again for a sit down meal but maybe a carry out meal. read more

First of I want to start by saying this is my very first time at this place just have been craving pizza and it was close so I thought I would try it out for lunch. Well first only after I asked a random waiter if it was free seating or was I supposed to wait to be seated was I actually seated. 4 waiters passed me before I had to ask. Second I had to wait for my waiter to come and to my table for a few and ask for my drink by then already knew what I wanted to eat as well. This wasn't really bothering me until the people behind me who were seated after me were helped before me and were told sorry for your wait and I was barely acknowledged. Thirdly, the pizza was just mediocre. I just had a pepperoni which you can't really mess up. After all the extra issues. I probably will not come back. I will stick to what I know. read more

We got our first pizza from hideaway as a takeout. My wife and I both really enjoyed the pizza and the curbside service was excellent.

The pizzas are really good. The staff are all super friendly. They also keep it clean, and I mean CLEAN. Everyone cleans. They even wipe off the lights. Hang from the rafters. Reminds me of the scene in Annie with the mops and brooms at the orphanage. They should all be singing Lol. Seriously though. I've never liked this location. The only place in the city where you will call in an order and watch your appetizer sit on the counter for 15 minutes and get cold and soggy while you wait for your pre-made salad to come out. First, let me say Hideaway makes a great pizza! So why write more and why 3 stars? This location can't seem to get my carry out order correct. I've been eating at Hideaway locations for 20 years because the pizza is great. I moved from OKC about 1 1/2 years ago. On about 6 visits back I ordered Hideaway because 1) love it 2) close to my hotel. Not one time have they gotten my order correct. Not once! I order lite cheese. They seem to give me standard amount and go lite sauce instead - every time. I'm a sauce guy so while it may seem trivial, it changes the whole dynamic of the pizza, otherwise why would they give you a choice when ordering? Very disappointing. Other locations don't seem to have the issue so bravo to them. What's more is that they offer to give me the screwed up pizza along with the corrected version as some sort of compensation or consolation. I refused because if I wanted to eat that pizza I wouldn't have asked for a new one to be made. The new pizza was very good. Just need to up the quality control at this location. read more

I've really never understood the hype with Hideaway Pizza. Don't get me wrong, they do have some unique pizzas that are good quality, I just don't prefer it to other pizza options in the city. I'm also not a fan of the decor. There aren't a whole lot of options for pizza in this area though. This location recently accommodated a large group of about 30 people I was with for lunch and they handled it pretty well. It just took quite a while to get my check at the end although I had asked for it as soon as my food arrived since it was during my lunch hour and I had to get back quickly. Some things I do enjoy at Hideaway are the chicken pesto pizza and the Greek salad. read more

They've designed the space to where you have privacy even when it's busy, there's music but you can carry on a conversation and their staff is always happy, friendly and attentive. I had the best dining experience at Hideaway on NW Expressway. They have exceptionally good food all the way around. Delish pizza's, fresh crisp salads with homemade dressings... You name it, it's good. I had a little glitch in my order last Saturday and ended up with Canadian bacon on my pizza rather than pepperoni. The Mgr brought it out and was so apologetic & gracious about the mistake. She gave us the Canadian bacon pizza and rushed off to make a pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni came out and along with it came $10 in a certificate to apply to the meal plus our waiter apologized and comped our delicious warm choc chip cookie. Good pizza, lots of variety. Vegetarian friendly too, they have like 9 specialty veg pizzas (I would recommend the "Totally Truffled"). And there pizza is oddly filling. I eat 1-2 slices and I am somehow beyond stuffed (this coming from someone who usually can eat a medium pizza by myself). They also have really good mozzarella sticks. read more
