Good pizza and sandwiches. Good place to watch sporting events. Very friendly staff.

I didn't realize how good this place was until I went back and ate at the typical pizza. My eyes started to tear up, my heart sank deep into my chest. Every bite I took was a struggle. I looked over at my wife and I said, this pizza tastes like sh.... ever since I refuse to go back. I would have to say High Five is my favorite pizza place. We usually do a large pizza all American/BBQ chicken. We do need to explore the menu a bit more. It is a bit on the expensive side however quality my friend always wins. read more

Still coming here after all these years, 10 years now. Friendly service, great food. Never had the pizza as I'm a Tri-trip, no cheese, fries and a root beer guy. Have been coming here for 15 years. I get the Tri-Tip sandwhich every single time. Soooooo good. Employees and bartenders aren't the friendliest, and when I go with other people who get pizza, they often mess it up. They put anchovies on my mom's pizza instead of olives. She didn't look close enough at it. She took a bite, and threw up in her mouth. It was hilarious. All of this being said, they have never messed up my tri tip, and it has never been less than delicious. Also the cheesy garlic bread is like 2 or 3 bucks and amazing. 5 stars! read more

Our family loves the pizza from high Five! The cheese steak sandwich was also really good. The staff is very friendly and fast. The only downside is I found it out of the ordinary that they require payment first while sitting at the bar. However, that is their system for ordering pizzas for dinning in and for take out. read more

Hubby and I went to this pizzeria a few days ago- we were not disappointed! Ordered our pies, light cheese/ extra sauce/ thin crust and it came out just as we expected. The sauce is tangy, slightly spicy and very flavorful. We really liked the sports bar ambiance- especially fun for a large gathering of friends because there's plenty of seating and large screen TVs. I love, love, LOVE the pizza at High Five Pizza! The pizza is amazing! So good, it's worth my boyfriend & I to drive from Milpitas all the way to South San Jose to eat there. The pizza crust is thin (however, they do offer thick crust) and cooked just right so that the outer crust, as well as, parts of the pepperoni come out crisp =P Yumm! Prices aren't that bad. We just ordered an XL pizza with 3 toppings for a total of $25. Happy hour starts early at 2pm and goes til 6pm and includes $2 domestic beers & $3 imported with discounted appetizers. Other items I've tried are mozerella sticks and cheese bread. Both are delish just like their pizza. They also have sandwiches, which I haven't tried myself yet, but I heard are just as awesome. There's an all you can eat salad bar for around $5.25. Take out isn't bad, but the pizza is better eaten when fresh out the oven. Definitely a place for sports fanatics and large groups. read more

Really good pizza! Got the specialty chicken pizza with half marinara sauce and half white sauce and it was polished off in about 10 minutes flat! Also got the combination pizza, good but not great unlike the chicken pizza! Chicken wings are a must.. honestly one of the best chicken wings I've tried. Hi Five Pizza's good especially if its foot ball season and you want beer and pizza then this is the place to be but this one is small try going to the other one over in the silver creek sports plex @ 800 Embedded Way Ste 5, San Jose, CA 95138 (408) 365-5500 it's much more bigger and the menu is the same! This place is cool because you can watch hockey players play and sit right next to the window and its total safe because the windows are bullet proof. Not to mention they have a bar but not much mix drinks only wine and beer They have 50" plasmas all over so go and make yourself at home! bring the whole famillia!!!! read more

A bit far but this is the best place to have pizza, beer and watch a game. It is ALWAYS BUSY, so you better call ahead and put in your order and grab your table early. Well I have ordered from them in the past with no problems and usually liked their heater pizza. However yesterday I decided to order a large pizza with chicken and bbq which the chicken is listed as an option for the make your own section and even inquired when I ordered if I could substitute bbq sauce for regular and was told ok. But when I got the total I was shocked it was so high. So I called back to inquire why and was told the even thought chicken is listed as a topping under the Create your own pizza I would be charged as a specialty pizza which is of course more expensive and has toppings I don't want or need. When I explained this to the lady on the phone who was a manager she didn't seem to care what they have stated on the menu ect and even hung up on me so with that in mind I will not be going there anymore and I will be filing a complaint of their business pricing practices. So be aware before you order there they will do whatever they can to charge you extra. read more

The pizza is pretty good especially the garlic chicken and the pepperoni. However the food is completely separate from their customer service. Have been a patio for many many years, however after the Super Bowl experience will not plan on going back any time soon. One of the female "managers " was completely rude and just plain horrible to many guest on Super Bowl day !! We were there to watch the game however the experience it self made me not ever want to watch another game there. Completely disrespectful to customers. They have to have some kind of trading for their staff on better customers skills. Would not recommend for big crowds or parties. read more

I know this is mostly know for their Pizza, but they make the BEST Hamburgers I have ever eaten. My friend says that they are not hamburgers because there is no BUN. This place is crazy because it's so popular, but it deserves the popularity. The food on the regular menu is really good but, to us, the real treat comes on Wednesday nights when they set up the BBQ. The plates are an incredible bargain and the Ribs, chicken, chops, etc. are all really delicious. Great place owned and operated by a great staff. read more

Absolutely the best pizza in south San Jose. We eat here at least once a week. 5 stars for the food but giving 4 stars due to not having a pick up counter if the order is phoned in to go. Waiting in the order line to pick up a pizza is terrible because the pizza is ready for pick up and turning cold. Other than this one factor, the pizza and sandwiches and salad bar are great. Wish they delivered but this place is still our first choice regardless. read more
