    Breakfast sopapilla with carne adovada

Visited El Patio for breakfast. It's a hidden gem in the North Valley that has a perfect NM vibe with a cute patio. The food comes out fast and the servers are friendly. I had the carne adovada breakfast sopapilla with red chile. It was great!

I called in for an order of ala cart burrito. A bean burrito is $8.00. I added chicken and cheese, green Chile in the side. That was $5.00 to add the chicken total was $13.00. Got my order and left. Got to where I was going and opened the container and it was just a chicken burrito, no beans, lettuce tomato was on the side and green Chile was in a small container. The burrito was small, chicken was bland, Chile was ok. No napkins, and no utensils. Parking was a challenge and some guy park in the spot where you could go through to get out, I had to back up my van and get out the way to go in a park. If I go again, I hope I have a better experience.

The warm sopapillas that arrive mid-meal are worth the five stars alone. Literally the best of these sweet breads I might have ever tasted. Upon a friends high recommendation, we eagerly awaited our visit to El Patio. We were quite pleased. Every aspect of the experience was excellent. We dined on the patio which was spacious and lively. Alarmist full with mid-day visitors, we were seated quickly and our server was prompt, friendly and helpful. We expected the interior to be drab by comparison to the patio, yet enjoyed strolling in and observing the intriguing artwork and decor. Indoors would have also been a pleasant experience. Our food arrived hot and smelling amazing. Just look at the colors and presentation. Pure New Mexico. Living up to New Mexican cuisine's reputation, the green chile taste and other spices popped, with just enough fire to be flavorful. Our meat was tender and the sides of beans and potatoes had that homemade taste that was both comforting and satisfying. Entree sizes were plenty and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely add this stop to our must-do list when in Albuquerque.

It is a cute little hole in the wall on the side of the Rio Grande Blvd. They have a fairly spacious patio that must be used when the weather is conducive. We sat inside. The place was busy and Connie took our order and got our chips, salsa and iced tea. I had asked for a side of sour cream. When I reminded her a few minutes later, she walked over to another table and took it from there and brought it over to us, as she delivered it to the wrong table. Thankfully it was covered. A tall man brought our food out about 10 minutes later. My daughter enjoyed her taco salad with shredded chicken and a jalapeño ranch dressing. I ordered chili rellenos with potatoes only, no beans. It came as ordered. The rellenos were covered with a melted white cheese. When I used my butter knife I had to saw through the tough fibrous chili pepper. In all my years of eating peppers, I have never encountered such a difficult pepper to struggle to cut through . I ended up eating the corn exterior coating and scraped the cheese out of the middle to salvage my meal. The kitchen prepared the pepper per the recipe, but whoever their produce supplier is surely gave them an inferior product. I cannot blame the chef. The potatoes were nicely prepared with a mild seasoning. The sop-papilla's were good. In the hundreds of times I have eaten chili relleno, I think these were the worst I have ever been served. For all the ravings about how good this place is, I am in no hurry to rush back.

Great patio and steady quality food. It can get busy at lunch. Be patient. The atmosphere is worth it.

So came here for the first time with six friends. The location is the old boxing bear brewery where…read morewe used to go for live music. Nothing has changed really inside it's pretty much the same. That's a good thing in my view. So for ambience I give four stars. The inside is attractive with a lot of windows. Outside there's a nice patio which would be great to sit at if the wind is not too bad. For service, I give four stars. Service is on pretentious and just down to earth. I think some of the people that used to be there at boxing baee are still there. If you are a younger soul who likes to play arcade games there are several there. Again, they were there when boxing bear was there. So for me the reason I give four stars is because this is a wonderful place to just come and be with friends. There is no high pressure to purchase expensive entrees or drink excessively. That is what I love about this place. As far as the kitchen and food goes, it's pretty humble. I would call this authentic lowdown tacos and burritos and nachos which is equivalent to pub food. My disappointment with the menu is that there are no really interesting options such as enchiladas. I'm an enchilada girl I admit it.. so I did not actually get any food although all of my friends did. I also don't drink alcohol any longer so my favorite beverage which is an athletic IPA was available in a can and I was very happy for that. All in all, if you like humble easy inexpensive tacos burritos nachos pub food go for that. If you're looking for a place to hang out with some friends and have an easy conversation without too much overhead noise from music or TVs do that. This location is really good for groups who want to hang out. I would suggest to management that they consider putting some music meaning live bands on the schedule here and there. This location is also appropriate for music bingo, karaoke, and trivia along with live band performances. Or even just have solo guitar players come in. I love this place before I still love it. I'll be back.

From the moment we arrived, the service and ambiance were warm, welcoming, and where we wanted to be! Large and open, Bow and Arrow is spacious for folks to come for pint, small groups, as well as large groups and company events. We sat at the bar for more face-to-face service and had a great experience. We each got a flight and loved the ability to try four different beverages each since the menu is so extensive, creative, and delicious! I got the "Dos Arrows," "Wildly No. 1," "Bury My Heart," and "Lav Letters to the SW." I listed them in order of my favorites. Each beverage was complex, unique, and delicious! I would have enjoyed a full pint of each drink! Alas, 4 5oz beverages was enough! Prices are reasonable for such high quality beverages! We also loved that the brewery recognizes Indigenous land rights and supports Native American initiatives. Euro-Americans have much to learn from Native peoples, the original stewards of this land. But first, relationships, listening, and reparations are needed! We loved Bow and Arrow Brewing. We look forward to visiting again next time we are in town!
