Visited High Key to bring in a friends bday and it's an amazing vibe. The decor is super cute and there are plenty of photo ops. The food is perfect, small bites to go along with the amazing crafted cocktails they serve. The ambiance here is everything you want it to be, cute flirty, fun mixed with great drinks, delicious food and fantastic music. The service is great. This place was ok. Music was great. There was a blend of 90s and 2000s music. Menu was very limited but food was good. Drinks were delicious and strong. The place is a whole lot smaller than it looks on tiktok. I'm saying real small. Despite the music, no place to dance. Which is ok since it's not meant to be a lounge but given it closes 4am, you would expect a lounge/dance aspect. Especially with a DJ playing dance music. Service was excellent. Friendly and polite. I only take off a star because the entry was little odd. They didn't keep my ID like others stated. However, they scan your ID and take a picture of you without telling you. My friend and I went to Highkey Rooftop for drinks after dinner. We made a reservation for 11:30pm. We arrived a little early but we were seated promptly. The staff was nice ! The service was a little slow but there were only two waitresses working. The atmosphere was great. It was decorated well and the DJ was good! We did not eat. Although, the drinks were terrible. I first ordered a Purple Rain cocktail. It just wasn't good, there is no other way to describe it. My friend tried the Mojito. She didn't like hers either. We tried to get just basic drinks for the second round and give them another chance. I ordered a Patron and pineapple juice. My friend a Malibu Bay Breeze. Neither was good. My friends Malibu bay breeze did not even have cranberry juice in it, just pineapple and Malibu. I don't know if I would return to Highkey. For a rooftop lounge, I think the bare minimum is a nice cocktail. read more

So first off let's start with the ridiculous reservation charge $110 and it's non refundable... The drinks are trash... I mean the worst I've ever had. No liquor the mixology of it was awful and the price was ridiculous. So when closing the bill if your bill doesn't amount to the $110 of the reservation you loose it cause they don't even allow you to use it as tip. I didn't taste the food so I can't say anything about it. If your going here try & carpool or just know you will have to park in a garage. First Service is horrible. I asked for a bottle of moet and I was given some bottle called Rossi . I told them I don't want it and ever since then it was like trying to yell down the block for a cab. It was not crowded and we had a group of people and it took us prob 30 mins to be seated. Uggg...so here's the story. Saw this rooftop bar/restaurant on Instagram and it looked like a nice place to visit. Based on their advertisement, the rooftop's ambiance looked good, and the décor seemed to be. However, once there, it was downhill. First, to even get a table you need to make a reservation, which came at the cost of $100+tax, which is $10. Who taxes a reservation? (Spoiler alert that $10 is not refunded nor go towards your bill) Even though advertised, and confirmed via email, as a $100 credit that will be applied to your food/drink after you arrive for your reservation, they charged me for both the reservation, $110, and the food/bill, $109. To be clear, this is not a hold on your credit card, you will be charged. I just assumed they would apply the $110 to my bill but after checking my credit card transactions I saw they did not. I went back to the establishment to get a refund on the reservation fee, that didn't work out and am currently disputing the charge with my credit card company. When I went back, I spoke to the manager, Lisa. I explained the issue and she took my food/drink receipt, which I provided to show I was there on the day/time of my reservation. After Lisa told me she would be back, she walked off for about 30 mins, returning me to twice only to say "sorry, give me a minute." Eventually, when she came back, she was on the phone sending an email of my food/drink receipt to whom I believed to be "management." She wrote the email address she corresponded with on the back of my receipt as well as her cellphone number. She told me that I would be refunded only $100, and that the refund would show up on my credit card within 24-72hrs. It's about a week later and NO refund. During our conversation, I wanted to know why I was not receiving the entire $110 and she told me I was charged tax by my credit card, which is ridiculous. When I said as much, and said basically you're charging people a $10 cover just to sit down without telling them, she told me about other establishments that this management team runs where they charge $20 for a cover. I guess basically justifying the $10 charge. She offered me a drink in lieu of the $10, I said no and left expecting the $100 refund. I called Lisa two days ago on the cellphone number she gave me and reminded her of who I was and the outstanding situation. After she remembered, she said she would call me back once she went to work later that afternoon because she needed to talk to management, and I am still waiting for the phone call. But now I'm disputing it with my credit card company. As far as the actual place, it has a really nice atmosphere. The décor is beautiful and the staff was friendly enough but extremely slow. The food (chicken quesadillas and pizza) was 100% garbage. They looked like microwave dinners. Despite the food, I would have gone back for the ambiance and drinks, which were sweet but good; but after dealing with them regarding my refund (shouldn't be this difficult) and their poor management, I don't think anyone should waste their time. PS: I have NEVER written a review on anything but this was so lackadaisically handled I had to let others know what you could be getting in to. read more

The bar itself is pretty and very picture worthy. However sitting at the bar was disgusting in the sense of smell, the trash and bar itself made me extremely nauseous. The cocktails didn't taste good at all, they tasted really off from what they were supposed to be. The espresso martini had something carbonated in it when it shouldn't at all, they left an incredibly bad taste in the mouth. The service wasn't too bad but the music is far too loud for customer and bar tender to hear each other properly. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! On Wednesday, February 22,2023 I visited the establishment. Prior to visiting, I saw really good reviews. I traveled from New Jersey to come and enjoy the establishment based on all the good things I read online. I was MISTAKEN! The service environment was extremely distasteful and my party and I felt extremely disrespected. The hours of operation stated they were open until 1:00 am. We arrived around 11:30 pm. We were seated and given a menu. We ordered 3 drinks and a hookah and waited for the waitress to return to take our food order. Is was at that time we were informed the kitchen was closed. That should have been expressed when we arrived, upon receiving the menu, or anytime before or after ordering drinks. Additional, the hookah was extremely harsh; we were not able to enjoy it without it burning our throats. Around 12:20 the lights were turned on as a signal for us to know that they were closing soon, I assume. The music was also turned off. Around 12:35 a member of my party noticed 2 of the guys at the bar turning a song on and laughing amongst themselves. As the song began to play the lyrics are extremely BLUNT & OFF PUTTING! The song lyrics were from Red Peters "The Closing Song" "You don't have to go home,But you can't stay here, Now you're making me mad,You gonna make me swear, Get the F*CK outta here, Finish up that beer,You might as well call it a night my friend,You gonna have ta Get the F*CK out". Once the song started to play I proceeded to ask a member of the staff if they put it on so we could leave & he laughed & said "YES" ! We were the ONLY people in the establishment not to mention we are AFRICAN AMERICAN! THEY CLOSE AT 1:00 AM. They were very racist and disrespectful. I had a reservation and they made me wait 45 minutes to even receive a table. There was no hospitality or care for customers. The manager took care of selective customers and ignored the rest. At the end of the night, the manager spoke to customers in a disrespectful way.
