Thank you for accommodating my last-minute Uber Eats order. It is much appreciated. I love their vegetable samosas. It is delicious, especially when I dip it in the red sauce they provide. My boyfriend prefers the green sauce. The chicken tikka masala is savory and melts in your mouth. When the meal arrived, you could smell the fragrance of spices. I like adding basmati rice and their plain naan. I can not wait to enjoy more of their dishes. Another time I visited, my boyfriend ordered the garlic naan. Soooo good. I got the mozzarella naan bread which is obviously delicious. I asked for whatever vegetarian dish they recommend and they gave me veggie korma. It is pretty creamy and there are lots of different vegetables in it. I got it spice level 2 which definitely has some spice but not way too much. This is a quality restaurant with affordable prices. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a mouth-watering blend of spices. I've been here a few times and have been very pleased with every dish ordered. The sauce is thick, rich, and perfectly seasoned. The rice is sticky and a perfect portion. The meat and vegetables are perfectly seasoned and cooked, complementing the dish perfectly. I usually stay in the middle of the road with the spice level and I wouldn't recommend being too adventurous in that area. The food here is really, really good. We used to get the lunch special, but I'm not sure if they do that anymore since the pandemic kicked restaurants in the teeth. They do a nice job of preparing food that is not overly spicy (unless you request it). The problem with some places is that they just overwhelm you with spice so you can't enjoy the flavors. The Himalayan grill does a nice job of keeping the spice to a reasonable level. The Tikka masala is a nice rich flavorful sauce. I prefer the chicken or lamb version. I'm not sure if its just cause I get it take out but the sauce is a little greasy. The garlic naan is super garlic which is nice. Mango lassi is think and doesn't have that weird sour taste that some lassi get. Overall, a decent price for the quality you get. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. read more

We have an annual tradition of eating here on Christmas Eve with the familia. The food is beyond excellent. We all equally look forward to the lentil soup served to all before the meal free of charge. It's the absolute best. I love the traditional Nepalese/Himalayan specialties, including Chicken Sekuwa and Chicken Chili. The best-and you can order the dishes to your spice liking on a scale of 1-4. Other family members love the Vegetable Chow Mein, another local dish and their Briyanni dishes. But, the other more broadly regional dishes like Tika Masala and Saag Paneer are equally delicious. Parking was ok. Service was just okay could be a lot better. Food was just okay. My friend he liked his dish the lamb nirvana and my saag paneer was just okay. The cheese cubes I would have to say maybe the best I've had but the spinach part was lacking any kind of spices. What a great meal for a great price! This particular restaurant location has seen a lot of turnover in the 7 years I have been working in the area, so I really hope they can stick around! I've been here a handful of times now and always get the lunch special, which is two entree choices, rice, naan and some sides for $7.95! My family decided to try this place out as all of our other nearby favorites were full - what a mistake! The waitress has such a lousy attitude. It was absolutely delicious and the sauce accompanying it was a great side Vegetable Samosa- The shell was light and flaky, with a good amount of vegetables in the middle! Each were a large size, and absolutely delicious Butter Chicken- probably one of the best that I've ever had. It had such depth of flavor, and the savory taste was so rich! It had a good amount of chicken but the gravy was most definitely the Star! Each came with your choice of plain naan or basmati rice! You could also upgrade to garlic naan for $1 more Aloo Gobi- very delicious as well! There were more cauliflower than potatoes, but it was a large sized dish, and absolutely amazing. The samosas were delicious so I would recommend it but the butter chicken I got was a bit too overcooked. The sauce was decent but eating overcooked chicken was something not great. And for my service not only was my table neglected but I also ordered garlic naan which they charged me that I never got. I hate to do this. The food is actually very good. We stick to the basics - Chicken Tikka, Chicken Momo, Cheese Naan. We have tried a few other items, all good, but we like these popular dishes the best. In fact, we like the food so much we keep coming back but this will be the last time. Even if you order online one hour ahead of time, your food will not be ready and they will be confused when you try to pick up. This has happened more than once so I told myself to give them extra time and order early but it doesn't seem to help. Evidently the 3rd party apps work better for them but if that's the case, why have an order function on the website?? Again, this is not a one time occurrence. I dislike reviews that complain about service on one occasion. I'm sure if you order two hours in advance you will have a 50/50 chance of your order being ready and correct. This place is our favorite Indian restaurant in San Diego! I'm a vegetarian and my boyfriend eats their chicken and lamb dishes, and the food has always been delicious when we've ordered off the menu. One time, my dad came to visit and we went to their buffet, and I don't know if it was an off day or what, but the food was not that great, so I don't recommend the buffet. I wish there were more locations so we didn't have to drive across town for it, but it's definitely worth it. They've had some issues with orders not being ready on time, but I feel like they're getting better at handling it. We order from a third party app, and before, the order wouldn't be ready until over an hour after we ordered it. Lately, they've been on top of it with alerting us that there's an X minute delay. It also doesn't hurt to just come after the ready time too since they pack the food so well, it's always piping hot after getting it home after a 20 minute drive. read more

The food is awful. we ordered 3 dishes. All was so bad that we could not eat passed a few bites. I seemed like spices were just poured on the meat and the spinach with cheese seemed like it was cooked in a blender. the Momo was dry and hard to chew as though one is chewing on leather.
