My family and I wanted to have Ramen for dinner. So we came to Hiro Ramen and Udon. The shop was pretty and had plenty seating. It was a self service and seated. You did all ordering from a Kiosk. When your food ready you pick up and brought to your table. Everything was a self services included clean after your self and packing left over too. I ordered a Tonkatsu Curry Udon and the food came out pretty fast. The Tonkatsu was crispy and fresh. The portion sizes were very large, I had to take home half my meal.

Been coming to this spot for my curry fix for years. Their portion is big and comes with cabbage salad and fukujinzuke. It's a self-serve, order at the counter-type restaurant. Once your food is ready, just grab and take a seat. They have toppings such as yellow radish and tempura flakes at the counter. Everything you need (to-go boxes, water, and utensils) are also at the counter. Parking is plentiful and shared with the coffee shop next door. The decor is super cute and transports you to Japan.

Hiro Ramen & Udon is a solid option for all kinds of Japanese food. I tried the Deluxe Tendon ($18). The portion size, batter, seasoning, and crunch was good. There was plenty of rice underneath. I wish there was more sauce. I assume I could've asked for more sauce but I didn't this time. The Deluxe Tendon came with a soup and I was able to get my own portion of pickled radish. There's a side bar area with some additional toppings and seasonings for the different dishes you can order here. There's also a good amount of seating and service was quick.

Keypoints: - Fairly Priced ~$20/person - Quick - Self Service I ordered a spicy miso ramen and gyoza The spicy ramen overall was good, nothing amazing about it but worth the price. The quantity of the bowl was great for the price, plenty of noodles. The broth was okay, I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but is a great option if it is local to you. The gyoza was very good, I always order gyoza whenever I eat out and it's on the menu. This one is fairly priced and tastes great, good crunch, good temperature, and good sauce. I would recommend to add this to your order. Overall this is a good place to grab a bowl, you get your food quickly, it is self order and self serve. If you're looking for something with minimal interaction, then this would be a good spot. The place is clean and a good selection of food, I would recommend to come here.

A personal favorite while in BP! HIRO shares a parking lot with other sit-down restaurants so it can be pretty busy. Absolutely love the interior and there's fun details in every inch of the place. You order on a kiosk and pick up your food at the counter. Their menu is quite large and they also carry fun snacks/drinks like ramune for you to purchase. We ordered the Tonkatsu Curry, Niku Udon, and Chicken Ramen. I love the portion sizes and the flavor is always top notch! The Niku Udon has bouncy noodles and slightly sweet savory meat, which is the perfect bite when paired with the crunchy tempura pieces they offer. The Tonkatsu Curry was good, but not out of the ordinary. My friend enjoyed the shredded cabbage salad that came with it. Chicken Ramen was standard, my friend would have preferred her chicken a little more cooked. Overall, love this place and will keep coming back!

Stopped by this place on the way home and was instantly greeted when I walked in. The space has a really nice "Japan" feel to it with the decor and layout. Ordering is super easy -- just walk up and place your order on the big screen. There was a short wait, but the staff apologized when our order was ready, which was appreciated. No problem at all. The food itself was solid -- I'd give it an 8/10. You can grab your tray, add your own condiments on the side, and then pick your seat. Simple setup, great system, and tasty ramen. Definitely will be back!

This place is a hidden gem! The inside is such a vibe and transports you to Japan. You order at the kiosk and they'll call your name when your order is ready. I got the regular spicy miso ramen, fried gyozas and a Calpico (you just grab your drink from the fridge when you order). The broth was sooo delicious and presentation was a 10/10 honestly. Perfect, lowkey spot for ramen on a rainy, cold day. I'd def come back and try other stuff!

Great place and food! The parking can get a little packed from the coffee shop next door, but I typically find parking after browsing through the lot. Service is via kiosk then you pick up your meals at the "pick up" station. There's also a self serve daikon and tempura flakes! For the chicken katsu curry rice, I was definitely satisfied. The food was very filling, enough to make a mini lunch! The katsu was crispy, but certain parts of the katsu tasted more like batter with poor chicken ratio (the edge pieces where the chicken gets tenderized too thin) The side salad was a nice refreshing touch to the meal! There's lots of seating inside with cute decor!

We come here fairly regularly (though more often when the weather is cold). The kids love ramen and the atmosphere. They have other stuff like udon, curry, takoyaki too and some cute Japanese snacks/candy/little trinkets if you feel inclined. So far everything we've ordered has been pretty good, no complaints. It's more of a self service: you order, find a table, get your utensils, bowls, cup, water etc and wait until your food is ready and pick it up. Everything is available including to go containers for soup so there isn't a need to ask for assistance. It's never been busy to seating is not an issue. When you're done eating, you put it all on your tray and then take it to the racks around the corner in the back (near the bathroom). It's kind of different and fun. As a bonus, the coffee next door is connected to this restaurant so I like to order a coffee while waiting. :D

Tempura Udon (w/o Naruto (Fish Cake) Topping)

I got the tempura udon (without the naruto topping) and honestly, it hit the spot. The tempura was crisp, the udon had a mild flavor, and I ended up finishing the whole bowl. It was hot outside so I was kind of sweating by the end, but it was worth it. This spot is great for a solo meal -- you order at a self-serve kiosk, grab a number, and wait for your food. Water and condiments are off to the side, easy to grab. The parking lot looked pretty packed for a weekday, but I ended up getting a spot right in front, so no complaints there. Definitely planning to come back.

Got the nikutama sauce udon here. Plenty of space and parking here. The quality of the meat was in my opinion not the greatest, it was a little too chewy. The wanted to try this because I always get this at marugame udon and thought it was alright. Service is nice and the vibes are good.

Decided to stop by for the mazemen that was advertised on the big banner in front of the shop...and it was okay. Got dinner to go from here and service was friendly and quick. Menu selection here is very extensive, it's hard to choose what to get! They've got a toppings bar which is always nice! I ordered the Spicy Mazemen and it was good but I've definitely had better elsewhere! I know it's not their specialty but it was decent enough. It was a pretty small portion, very flavorful and spicy. The noodles were just skinny ramen noodles, not thick chewy ones like normal mazemen. They have rice to go which I appreciated! 3/5 Overall, I'd definitely come back to try something different because a lot of their items sound delicious! I just didn't order the right thing this time around.

Wanted something warm when it was cold and cloudy and this place definitely was the spot. Came in on a Tuesday afternoon just before they closed and they had a good crowd inside. The interior has a nice aesthetic and you order on a kiosk and pick up your food right beside it. I ordered the niku curry udon and potato croquettes. The order took about 10 mins and it tasted absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed the hot fresh udon and the crispy croquettes. I would recommend this place and definitely will come back.

Restaurant quality just hasn't been the same, but that is not the case here. Over the years their team has continued to offer delicious food and a nice casual dining experience. The store is small and cozy, so not great for parties larger than 4, though I'd really just suggest 2. Great for lunch or a low key dinner, it is one of my go-to for ramen spots. I really love their white miso tsukemen, the thick noodles are slightly chilled and served with a wedge of lime which is a nice way to lighten the very rich broth. I've had their red miso before but its deeper flavor is a bit too powerful for my taste, so for those who like something with more umph, that's a great choice as well.

The interior is very small, maybe 16-20 seats total. For food, we ordered the gyoza 2/5, spicy white miso 3.5/5, and spicy red miso 4/5. The gyoza was disappointing since it was reheated and still tasted cold in the middle. Both ramen were filled to the brim with rich, flavorful broth. The white miso broth was slightly less thick and rich than the red miso. The noodles were chewy, and the Tao spice had a nice kick. Unfortunately, there was no AC running so we got pretty hot and uncomfortable during our meal. They also charged us for an extra drink that we didn't order. Sadly, this spot did not live up to expectations and will not return.

We would drive here every other year for their delicious fried tofu appetizer and other fresh and hot items. It was a wonderful experience and a great intro to Japanese cuisine. However, the quality and control have gone down as another reviewer has mentioned. Will be our last time. 1. Food was a bit salty for both ramens bowls. They ran out of the lobster tail and the ribs bowls, which is fine on Valentine's Day. However, they also ran out of basic ingredients. Where are the 2 egg slices, and where are the other fresh garnishes (mushroom or bean sprouts). One of the saddest looking and basic ramen bowls that I've ever experienced, one level above instant ramen (just the pork and excess noodles). Speaking of pork slices, they need to be less firm and softer. They also ran out of wooden spoons. How? We ate with take-out chopsticks with no available plastic spoons. Who is running this branch? 2. Service was standard. 3. Ambiance has nicely decorated theme. However, restaurant and seating area is small and crosse crossed and lacks privacy. You can hear the next table conversation. Would not care so much if the food were excellent. Not worth the tag.
