Was craving ramen so decided to stop by this place after hearing good things about it. There was a good variety of ramen to choose from but I ultimately went for their poke ramen bc it peaked my interest. I LOVE poke and I LOVE ramen, what could go wrong?? So I went for it. I don't really know what I was expecting but I did not enjoy the combo too much. I honestly did not think the ramen paired well with any of the poke ingredients. I think the main reason was bc it only had a very bland ginger dressing, but in my opinion, maybe some spicy mayo would've made things better. Service was great, server was very attentive despite it being a little busy. All in all, I would love to come back to try their other options.

I did eat the food so it wasn't that bad, but it did not hit to make me want to come back. I'm sorry for the mess I left as well, especially the stain. The place was very clean. they were out of napkins, which was a little odd but not a huge deal. We originally ordered two vegetarian ramens, one chicken katsu curry, and two chicken ramens because we do not eat pork. However, our server let us know that the chicken katsu curry was unavailable, so we swapped it for another chicken ramen. Then, after the two vegetarian ramens were brought to our table, we were informed that they were also out of chicken ramen--which left us a bit confused. Ultimately, we just switched everything to vegetarian ramen to keep things simple. That being said, the ramen itself was good, and the broth was especially flavorful. However, it seemed like the restaurant was not well stocked, which made ordering frustrating. Maybe deliveries were delayed because of President's Day, but we're not sure. A big shoutout to our waiter, though! Despite all the shortages, he tried to stay positive and accommodating, which we really appreciated. While the food was solid, the overall experience left us unsure if we'll be back. Hopefully, this was just a one-time issue!

Came here for a date in a Saturday afternoon. There was moderately packed at 12:45pm but no wait was needed. Their menu option had a large variety of ramen! I got the Tonkatsu Black since it's easier to compare Tonkatsu's. The moment I saw the final product in front of me, I was immensely disappointed. There were two thin sorry excuse of Cha Siu I had ever seen in my life. The first piece had made me question if I did a pork belly version that had gone wrong with how tough it was. The next piece was better but clearly not enough meat for a $18 bowl. I would've given them a 3 star if they threw in eggs for $18 but here we are with 2 stars. Actually after seeing their picture on the menu, I got mad and downgraded this to one star since I obviously got scammed. The broth was nothing to rave about. It was pretty bland for the most part but I didn't hate it. Noodles were okay was well. Definitely not homemade but packaged. It's really hard to find anything praiseworthy for this meal.
Absolutely horrible! Before it start anything, it's not about the service but the food itself. We ordered 2 tonkotsu spicy black and let me just tell you it was the oiliest thing iver ever seen. Not to mention, the piece of "meat" they gave you was just purely fat. The eggs was hard boiled and COLD. Overall, 1/10 , i'd never return here for $40 for 2 whatever this is called

Yummy ramen and musubi! The ramen had great flavor. We had a miso ramen. One of the musubi was chicken and the other was crab meat & potato croquette. It was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Cute restaurant with anime to watch on the tv. It was really distracting
We were exhausted and looking for a place to grab a delicious quick bite. The aervice was too tier, not only did he look like a kpop star but he was very kind and had taken very good care of us. We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen with Shio and ebi ramen, we also tried the potato masubi and the chicken masubi and everything was cooked to perfection! The restaurant is medium to smaller size but they had great anime playing and beautiful decorations which creates a relaxing ambiance. Would recommend this place!
Overall, I cannot recommend as a patron of many years, dating back to before The Source plaza was finalized. We would drive here every other year for their delicious fried tofu appetizer and other fresh and hot items. It was a wonderful experience and a great intro to Japanese cuisine. However, the quality and control have gone down as another reviewer has mentioned. Will be our last time. 1. Food was a bit salty for both ramens bowls. They ran out of the lobster tail and the ribs bowls, which is fine on Valentine's Day. However, they also ran out of basic ingredients. Where are the 2 egg slices, and where are the other fresh garnishes (mushroom or bean sprouts). One of the saddest looking and basic ramen bowls that I've ever experienced, one level above instant ramen (just the pork and excess noodles). Speaking of pork slices, they need to be less firm and softer. They also ran out of wooden spoons. How? We ate with take-out chopsticks with no available plastic spoons. Who is running this branch? 2. Service was standard. 3. Ambiance has nicely decorated theme. However, restaurant and seating area is small and crosse crossed and lacks privacy. You can hear the next table conversation. Would not care so much if the food were excellent. Not worth the tag.
Small ramen restaurant, fast service, food tastes great! They also offer 10% off military discount which is a plus! I wish the Ramen was served at a hotter temperature, but that's personal preference.
Pro tip: Get the Tonkotsu spicy black non-spicy if you want that egg!! I'm happy they let me do that. I didn't see too much black garlic but it was still good and satisfying.

YES YES YES. Delicious Delicious. Dad and Daughter lunch we both wanted Ramen. Yelp directed us straight to this place. Place is nice and a great setup for Ramen. I recently visited this ramen spot and honestly, the space itself is really nice, small but spacious if that makes sense,definitely comfortable. The food was definitely the highlight. The ramen was delicious, rich in flavor, and served hot. We had 2 different types, and both were just good.Their appetizers were well portioned out, my bf and I both had plenty to share. Honestly food is worth it. The downside was the service. The waiters felt noticeably rude and inattentive, which took away from the overall experience. It's disappointing because the food and atmosphere deserve better. Overall, great food and ambiance, but the staff could use some improvement. I'd still come back for the ramen, but I'd be hoping for a better interaction next time. read more

We were looking for some good ramen/Japanese food in the area. I scrolled upon Yoshiharu and stopped since I heard about this place through a friend. Walked in, everything smelled really good. The place was fully seated, but we got lucky. We were really here for the ramen so we didn't look at the other options they had. I was amazed with the size of the ramen bowl! It was huge. The meat was tender and soft. It slowly melted in your mouth. Both ramen was good. I would come here again or even go to their other locations. Would recommend! read more

Another review to add to the number of people raving about this place, so I knew I had to give it a shot when I was back at The Source. Located on the 1st floor, the place had ample seating on a Thursday night for a family of 4. My sister and father ordered the St. Louis Pork Rib Miso, and my mother and I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Miso (I got the black). When the St Louis Miso arrived to the table, I have to admit I was a bit jealous. Presentation first, it looks phenomenal seeing a whole rib in an already rich looking bowl of broth and noodles. It definitely was not all looks as well. The meat was tender off the bone and had a sweet tang to it that was pleasant along with the spicy broth. Only thing is it may seem a little inconsistent as I did get some bites that were tougher than others, along with my dad who seemed to get an even greater amount of some tough meat which is unfortunate. My bowl of Spicy Tonkotsu Black (not pictured) was great as well! Broth had a solid kick, around a medium spice level I'd reckon. For personal preference I love my broths rich and garlicky, so that's what I'm looking for when I get black miso ramen. This this bowl had me wanting juuust a little more. But for most I think it's rich enough. Noodles are also a little on the firmer side. To add on, we ordered a Sweet & Spicy Karaage which i believe was a new item. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the cook of the karaage, no visible crunch on the exterior which is half the experience of kaarage. The food was good but the service was horrible. When we were seated, there were only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant. The employees were nice but not very attentive. We ordered 2 bowls of ramen, a poke bowl, spam musubi, and 2 rolls. We got the most of our order except for the poke bowl and one roll which was for my daughter. If we had waited for her to get her food before we started eating, our ramen would've been cold. It took almost 30 mins later to get those 2 items. It was frustrating because other customers who came in later started getting their food first. I had to ask one of the servers how much longer it would take and it was like they had forgotten all about it thinking we had everything. read more

Went in for the first time with a friend who has tried this place before. I'm a picky eater when it comes to miso. But this place right here was so good. The food fills you up. The broth was delicious on top of all the toppings. The service was great. The place was also very clean! Coming back for sure! read more

As someone who has traveled to Japan multiple times and has a deep appreciation for Japanese cuisine and culture, I was disappointed with the overall experience. My family, some of whom are currently feeling under the weather, were looking forward to a comforting meal and ordered several items including Karaage, sushi rolls, Spicy Miso Level 1, Spicy Food Bento, and the Louis Pork Rib Spicy Miso. We spent around $101 including tax. Unfortunately, the food--especially the noodle soups--was overwhelmingly salty. This extended not only to the broth but also to the pork katsu, pork ribs, and other ingredients in the bowls. Despite attempting to dilute the soup with hot water, most of the food remained inedible and had to be discarded. This is such a worst experience. The chefs or whoever runs this franchise location should be fired. read more
Came to the source and decided to give this ramen place a shot. For the food: the ramen was ok, the meat could've been a bit more flavorful, my husband got the spicy ramen and he said that it wasn't spicy enough for him . All and all the food was subpar. The service: the service was good despite them being short staff. The woman that was serving us was really good despite her serving by herself. The only thing was there was a gentleman waiter that seemed pretty rude to her talking about their break time in front of customers which I found not the right thing to do . But either than that she did an amazing job serving us. Ambiance: the place is pretty small so I don't recommend coming here with a big party unless you want to side outside then that is a different story. But either then the place being small, I'd probably come back here again to get their rice dish instead of their ramen dish. Thank you for the meal read more

The restaurant is located inside the source and the service is fantastic. The decor makes the place feel welcoming and warm. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu black. My only complaint is that it's a little on the salty side. But aside from that you do get a whole egg and two pieces of meat. read more
Got their tonkotsu spicy black and it was so good!! Definitely not for the weak if your spice tolerance isn't that great. The eggs were soft boiled and super delicious, and the soup was spicy and flavorful as well. I do wish that the pork was a bit more seared because I like a smokey taste. The servers were quick to clear up the large table for us since we came in a party of 5, but the rest of the tables in here were for two. it's not in the menu but typically if you ask for anything specific, the servers will go to the back kitchen and let them know and they will always accommodate your needs
Why is that all the pictures posted by Yelpers, the bowls all seems to be only filled about 1/3 full?
Dear Shinobu, most ramen restaurants use 7 inch bowls however, Yoshiharu Ramen has custom made 9 inch bowls so it's not filled all the way to the top and 2/3 full not 1/3 full in addition our portion, broth, noodle is always generous and not any…
