Ordered from doordash. The duck was decent but it had a lot of bones. The beef rice paper was good especially with the sauce.

My usual go-to order from here is the egg tarts, since I love that they have flaky crusts instead of the cookie crust but yesterday when picking up a Doordash order I decided to order their 2 item Chinese BBQ over rice. I ordered the roast duck and crispy pork belly over rice and the lady asked if I wanted vegetables and soup too, so I was pleasantly surprised. Although I feel like other places have better quality Chinese BBQ, this place is good if you're in a pinch or happen to be in the area. My only complaint is that their online ordering on their website doesn't work and their Doordash menu doesn't have everything on it. Luckily I was able to order the Chinese BBQ when I came to pick up the Doordash order. This is more of a grab and go place, since most of the seating area has been taken up by boxes. Parking can also be a bit of a challenge since the area gets crowded but still doable.

Watch out guys! This place really deserve 0 stars for the food quality and services. The indoor filled with all boxes and look very messy. Not a good place to eat dim sum or anything's else you craving for. Go to other restaurant for your own good guys!

Doordash order!! This place is a hit or miss. Sometimes the har gow would be amazing with the perfect wrapper consistency, and sometimes it will be overcooked and mushy. When I got to my food, it was mushy, and then I ordered the shrimp rice noodle roll, but then they ran out and switched it to the beef one. I really would've have minded, but the beef was very mushy and tasted old. Har gow is usually a 7.5/10 here, but when I got my food this time was a 6.5/10. The beef rice noodle roll was a 5/10.

Pretty basic dim sum options for togo. This place opens early @7am, and was the only reason my mom and I came here. The prices here are steep and portions seem smaller. Quick service... other than that, my family's go-to place is tai pan on capitol expressway. Char siu bao is whatever, since the best ones I've had were from that one bakery in Chinatown SF.

The line here get busy during lunch time so come in early. Their dim sum pieces are quite large which Is nice, but it is pricey for what it is. Overall selection Is good. It is a bit on the greasy side, but in all it will satisfy the cravings. Service is ok, if you're not asking questions too many questions, just pointing at what you want for the most part. Parking in this plaza is bad, it might be better to park closer to the grocery store side and walk over. Did not provide any utensils, might be my bad for not asking or checking before I left, but I thought it was standard since it take out.

I usually come here and get the shrimp dumplings and the pork dumplings and fried rice. Yesterday I bought the same and brought it home to eat. The shrimp dumplings were not fresh anymore but tasted a little better after microwaving them. The pork dumplings were still so good as always. But the fried rice when I opened up the box the fried rice was already sour smelling. The fried rice over all was just soggy but I still tried a small spoonful and I knew it wasn't good anymore. The next day, today, I wanted to try it for breakfast but the fried is still soggy, mushy, and when I tried to pick up a little bit of it, it had like strands of something in there that looked like spider webs. It was really thin and just hanging. I remember this Korean fried rice dish with cheese at the bottom and it was amazing. This fried rice from HK dim sum is really bad. Thankfully this is the first time I've ever gotten bad fried rice from this place because they are normally very good and I've eaten here for about three years so after this experience I had to say something. It is kind of expensive too so I don't come unless I am craving it. Anyways, this will be my last time to buy their fried rice because it was so bad I am tossing it. --UPDATE January 17, 2025- Today I stopped by to get two orders of the shrimp dumplings and I told one of the ladies that worked there about my experience with the fried rice. I kept talking and talking about it and she asked me over and over what size fried rice did I get. I said I ordered the smallest one but the guy at the time gave me the medium one of fried rice. She said she asked me so she could know how much to refund me. I couldn't believe she wanted to do that. I was hesitant and said I'll never order their fried rice ever again. And she said sorry and actually refunded me for how much I paid. I felt bad getting mad at her and said she didn't do anything and didn't have to say sorry. Anyways I got my money back for the fried rice and sat there at the table and ate my shrimp dumplings quietly. I didn't know they would ever do something honest like this but they did. Anyways I am still grossed out by the old fried rice I got last time so I will just stick with the steamed dumplings that are still pretty good when you're hungry.

Came here many times getting various items. I like their variety of dim sum to go items and they have decent bbq pork. The photos I posted are some of the common things I get when I come by here.

This satisfied my dim sum fix. Not the best but still pretty tasty. Each dim sum piece is hearty. The beef noodle roll was a sub for the prawn one but texture was still good. I'd order again if I don't have time to go into a restaurant.

I did not take a picture of the shiu mai and banh cuon but the roast and honey bbq were both succulent.

I don't have to go to Ranch 99 for BBQ meats anymore! Only thing I dislike is the parking and the area but they accept Visa/MC, offer succulent BBQ pork and roast pork and a limited selections of dim sum such as har gow, shiu mai, rice roll, steamed buns.. all satisfied my stressful Saturday. I did not take photos of the dim sum because I ate it as soon as I got home but the meats I used it to pray and enjoyed after. I would have stopped by but I thought it was a cash only establishment.

Upon arrival, I found the doors locked; after calling, the staff realized they hadn't unbolted them yet. Despite being the only customer present from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM, I still had a 30-minute wait as the kitchen was prioritizing a large catering order. The server's sincere apology when the food was finally delivered significantly helped erase that frustration. The BBQ Pork: Very flavorful and not too fatty. However, typically priced around $15.00 to $16.00, I found the portion size to be a bit small for the cost and the wait. Beef Chow Mein: A classic staple that was well-prepared, though I prefer the thicker noodle. General Chicken: a solid choice, just the right amount of seasoning. Gailan: Fresh and a perfect balance to the heavier meat items. Overall, the sincerity of the staff and the food quality made up for the initial logistical hiccups.

Definitely above your typical market rates, but I promise these will be true to the OG flavors. It's mostly a food pick-up type of service where you walk up to a shared space and ring a doorbell to have an aunty bring out your stuff. Online ordering was how I did it, but you can also call/text an order over the phone. The ordering process is a bit unusual in that you have to plan these ahead of time (by about 3-days or so depending on time of week) then wait for a confirmation text on the day of. Unfortunately, impromptu cravings must likely be held at bay. Sometimes you can short-notice stuff if they have leftovers, but that's defintely a gamble. With either planning or luck, you'll then walk off with a hefty bag of deliciousness. You can have the option of getting them freshly cooked or frozen (for stocking up). The zongzi are well packaged and tightly wrapped with color-codings to the string to separate the fillings from each other. It's a bit cryptic, but you'll notice those correspond with the pictures on their ordering site. Descriptions of the fillings are true to their amount and pretty well packed with goodness (none of the mostly-rice-zongzi here). After cracking the first one open and taking my first bite, it was like that Ratatouille moment with Anton having flashbacks to his childhood (but like the Chinese version). Filled with delicious aromas and rich succulent glory, with not a dry spot in (culinary) sight. If that hasn't convinced you to at least try these buggers, I'm not sure what will!

We knew to go early, since they don't take reservations and we often see lines outside. We arrived at 10:30am and the front manager said if we can be done my 12:30, that they had a table for us. Party of 12, since we got there early, we agreed. The side room had the biggest round table for us. They ask you what kind of tea you want, we like chrysanthemum tea. You order the items on the paper menu and it comes to your table. So we got going on the orders and TBH, we must be hungry, because we did a lot of orders (we had plenty of left overs). Tried some favorites and a few new items that we thought were unique to their restaurant. My dad has to order crispy noodle and chow fun, and we also ordered chicken fried rice. The service was prompt and attentive, with enough servers to take care of the side room. Since it was the "sun room", the sun was shining through the windows and it was bright. Review from my parents: it was just meh, they prefer the other place near our house. I think the food is good, but probably won't come back again with a big group of us, since they don't have many big round tables. And personally, I prefer the whole experience of the ladies coming around with their carts. Perhaps their dinner menu is also worth trying. Bonus for us is that we can literally walk to this restaurant. Parking could be an issue if you come later.

Ironically, I'm not a fan of them myself--they're a bit too eggy for my taste. When it comes to dim sum quality and service, I honestly prefer Koi Palace. The food quality there is more consistent, and the service is much more phenomenal. The only things this place really has over Koi Palace are the lower prices and those black sesame custard buns my friend loves! I've been here at least a dozen times, and the food can be hit or miss. Sometimes dishes come out cold, like they've been sitting out for a while instead of being served fresh and hot. That said, there are a few items we always order that are consistently good when brought out fresh like salted crispy pork chops, siu mai, shrimp rolls, and fried calamari. Be prepared for a wait on weekends since it gets crowded. If you're coming with a large group, it's best to arrive before noon. The restaurant is located next to a hotel, and finding the restroom can be confusing since it's inside the hotel. Service is also pretty minimal--they seem understaffed, and I almost always have to flag someone down just to get basics like soy sauce, chili, and water. I don't understand why they don't just have the sauce on the table for guest to dip, but I get that they're saving $ on controlling the cost down. On my most recent visit, the experience really went downhill. Our table had food but no soy sauce, chilli nor water, and when I flagged a waiter multiple times, he got visibly annoyed and irritated. It was frustrating--we shouldn't have to chase someone down repeatedly for basic condiments. Being met with attitude for that honestly left a bad impression. That experience alone makes me reconsider coming back. Good food at a good price is one thing, but poor service--especially to that extent--can really ruin the overall experience.
