Nem Nuong Cuon is their signature as well as Cha Gio, Banh Canh Tom Cua, Soup Mang Cua... Although it's a little bit pricey, it's worth every cent. They welcome customers with a big smile and a polite manner. This location is kind of tiny but it's always clean and fresh. However, it's located at a hidden place (on the corner of Beach/Hazard, same building with Hoa Phat) so if anyone plans to go there, just drive slowly to find it. But he tried this one hesitantly, like a rom-com character learning to love again--and fell head over heels. THE BEST NEM NUONG I'VE HAD IN LA AND OC!! This place has just opened recently and it's one of the not many restaurants I'd call a hidden gem. Vietnamese food here is seriously good and very fresh. They have like 100 menus on the wall for preorder and catering and about 10+ to sell in store. Nem Nuong and the shrimp roll are super super fresh. The vegetables inside is exceptionally crispy (unlike some restaurants that use weary vegetables). Surprisingly their boba tea is even better than most boba place because the boba is fresh and didn't stick together. The tea was thick. Ice cream banana is also very Asian (very think coconut flavor). Totally bring me back to Asia!! I don't drink but the chicken feets are best with beer. The sauce is very unique. They were out of wontons at 1P.M which okay.... but you have a small menu! Then the garlic noodles barely tasted like garlic at all. The shrimp was watery. We asked the waiter for chili oil and never got it (20 minutes + passed) and egg rolls did not come within the hour before I left. I am giving 2 stars because the pork roll was tasty, but other than that, really poor service, below average food combined with a $63 price tag for watery thai tea, vietnamese coffee, 2 types or rolls and 2 noodles is not a winning strategy.
