We were most excited when they brought us little corn breads instead of bread to start. I'm pretty sure I had the entire hence, me not being able to order a whole entree for myself. We had the incredibly flavorful stuffed peppers and the hanger steak with fries which was perfect. It wasn't till I went back just a few days ago that I really discovered why this place deserves 5 stars. This time, I was with a group. We started by stuffing our faces with those corns breads and ordering the ceviche and some Korean meatballs (special) first. Wow, just wow. I could've licked the sauce off the plate. The ceviche was fresh and perfectly tasty. The star of the show arrived when my sea bass landed in front of me. This is definitely one do the top dishes I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly crispy on top and that coconut pesto was just exquisite. My friends had the lamb, tuna tartare, and mahi and all scraped their plates clean. He was very pleasant, but it seemed they sat him too many people at once, so there was a bit of waiting. We opted to try several appetizers and small plates, to get a bit of everything. This is a great place to stop in for a quick bite or drinks with friends! The decor is trendy and atmosphere is light and fun. Tried their version of jalapeno poppers (fried in rice balls) and they were very good-- just make sure you let them cool off! The cheese plate was pretty standard. I especially liked the toasted bread that came with it. Also tried Shrimp and grits, ahi tuna and the crispy grouper. All were very tasty and well-prepared. We were so happy to find Hob Nob. We had a large party of 7- 3 which are kids and 3 with gluten allergies and no reservation. They were amazing from the warm welcoming at the host stand to the entire dining experience. Our waiter was a very kind and knowledgeable gentleman. Extremely noisy, overpriced, average food, but most of all, some of the rudest service we have experienced. A member in my party had several food allergies and the restaurant was unwilling to accommodate, even though it would have simply required grilling a piece of fish with no seasoning and subbing out a side, which could have easily been done. They were very begrudgingly willing to do the fish, but did not work with her to find a side that she was able to eat. We decided that $30 for only a tiny piece of grilled fish was not worth it and she sat at the table hungry while the rest of us got our meals. Eventually, a different manager came over and tried to make it up to her, but at this point, it was too little, too late. Take your hard-earned money elsewhere and dine somewhere that still understands what basic customer service entails. read more

Our server, Domingo, was very cordial and efficient. We had the mini corn muffins they bring to the table, delicious, warm, soft, and sweet! The hummus small plate was nice with two kinds of hummus, flatbread crackers and marinated crudités. My husband devoured the sea bass entree and said he would've loved another! I ordered the fresh made pasta with shrimp and bacon in a spinach red cream sauce. It was to die for!!! The mango sorbet was a nice and refreshing end to our meal. The restaurant itself is lively, as there were several bdays being celebrated and people were really enjoying themselves. We were immediately greeted by the best server I have had in a long time - Tiger - great guy who knows how to be there when something is needed! We started with the crispy squid which was perfectly prepared and the sweet chili sauce made you want to lick the plate. Next we shared the Ahi Tuna dish over crab fried rice - perfectly cooked slices of tuna covering delicious rice - it was actually plenty for two ladies - my husband would have eaten the whole plate (and been in heaven).
