    Emily for the win, I called countless amounts of different hobby lobby in search for something and Emily was so patient and willing to help me search for what I needed. It was a very last one and she put it on hold for me. I can't thank you enough for providing such excellent service thank you so so much.

    This store location is big. They have a great deal of merchandise and NORMALLY a store this big with enough supplies and merchandise with good sales would get 5 stars. Unfortunately, in my opinion and from witnessing behaviors of employees this store does NOT fully comply with some covid-19 regulations. YES they have signs for people to wear mask. YES they have bins with hand sanitizers. YES they claim they clean the shopping carts. BUT 1) I saw many employees wearing theirs mask below the chin 2) at no point in time did the employees sanitize areas after each customer or even after 3 or 4 customers 3) there is no one watching the clean shopping carts so I saw people placing used (not sanitized) carts back to the place the "CLEAN SHOPPING CARTS" are located. I understand that EACH person reacts differently on what the appropriate behaviors are when in public or at a store regarding covid 19. But I do think consumers have the right to know what locations are going above and beyond to maintain covid 19'regulations. In my opinion this particular store is not going above and beyond.

    I enjoy going to hobby lobby but this one just wasn't well organized. The thing about this place is the long wait to check out. They really wait until there's a big line before calling for backup. Less desirable shopping experience. I will return to my regular cypress location instead.

    Beautiful stoff but way too expensive. Most of thesr items you can buy from Rose, Marshall or TJ max.

Plenty to pick up here, however the stock is becoming a little more limited as people have been shopping for the holidays and after talking to John, the owner, his wife passed away in March who did all the painting. He's currently looking for someone to help take on some of the creation. In the meantime he is trying to get his stock down. When we went today, he was offering items at 50% off. We picked up three different large yard signs. He didn't have one in stock for new so gave us the display model and an extra 10% off. Not a bad value. Then he even threw in a small Christmas tree for my girl can't beat that. So if you are thinking about picking some something, now is the time while he running his deals, great bang for you buck with the discount. It's Christmas so most of this is place set up were for Christmas time but he's got tons of Easter selection. There's Fourth of July and Halloween. He has a pretty nice set up for night time for a Christmas light display and told us we could come by and take a look and even if he's not outside, go ahead and walk-through. Hoping he find somebody to help take on what he's been creating. I added some photos of the actual location as most of it seemed to be from people's front lawns.

Today, neither happened, but it was still not a pleasant experience. As I walked in, I asked an employee if they had a restroom and for the location. When she answered, she hesitated and pointed to the back right corner, "back, right corner". Okay, cool, I headed straight back there and there was a sign "currently closed", for both men's and women's (I totally would lock the door in the men's just to pee if it was open). I did come in to buy a few things, so I grabbed what I needed and as I head to the check out, an "older" (probably 50's) male employee was walking sideways and backward toward me. I stopped walking, as we were going to collide. I said, "hi, excuse me" as he got within a couple inches of bumping me. He didn't apologize or anything, just kept on doing whatever task he was doing with nothing in his hands nor a cart with merch to put back... idk, maybe I'm just a b*+c#?? Theeennnnnn, the girl who completely stumbled when telling me where the restrooms were, was also the cashier at the moment of my checking out. I gently told her the restrooms were both closed and she replied with, "yea, ok, but I told you where they were." Yea, you did. I won't fault you there, missy. Then, I said, "I asked where it was because I need to use it", with a reply of "oh, sorry ‍". Always a good story about the decency and helpfulness of your employees, Michaels. Thanks!! At least I have someone nee in my day to shake my head at.... oh, P.S. pricing is blah here, being more on the higher side for cheap products.     To Whom It May Concern,…read more I would like to make a formal complaint regarding my curbside pickup experience at the Michaels store located on Katella Avenue in Orange, California. On Friday, June 19, at approximately 1:45 PM, I arrived to pick up a curbside order that had been marked as fulfilled earlier in the week. My confirmation and reminder emails indicated that four items were included in my order. However, when my order was brought out to my vehicle, I received only three of the four items. I attempted to contact the store by phone three separate times but was unable to reach anyone. Eventually, I called the Framing Department and spoke with Marianne. I explained that my curbside order was incomplete and that I had been unable to reach anyone for assistance. Marianne was very kind, came out promptly, and genuinely tried to help resolve the situation. She took one of my items back inside to investigate the issue and attempt to complete the order. Shortly afterward, Jesse came out to my vehicle and informed me that the store did not have enough inventory to fulfill the missing item. I explained that I had never received any email notification, cancellation notice, or refund indicating that part of my order could not be fulfilled. In fact, I had received reminder emails instructing me to pick up my order, and those emails continued to show all four items as fulfilled. Unfortunately, Jesse's response was rude, dismissive, and argumentative. Rather than acknowledging the confusion or apologizing for the inconvenience, Jesse continued to argue the point and took no accountability for the situation. As our conversation ended, she walked away shaking her head, clearly frustrated with me. I found this behavior unprofessional and disappointing. It was evident that either a system error occurred or the order was not properly updated to notify me that one of the items was unavailable. Regardless of the cause, customers should be informed when an order cannot be fully fulfilled, especially when the order status and pickup reminders indicate otherwise. As someone who had worked in restaurant and customer service industries for more than seven years and has operated a business for the last ten years, I understand the challenges that come with staffing shortages and high-pressure situations. However, those circumstances do not excuse discourteous treatment of customers. While I understand the store may have been short-staffed, there is no reason for an employee to speak to a customer in such an unkind and confrontational manner. I live in Anaheim and specifically traveled to this location because it had the items I needed. I chose curbside pickup because I had a sleeping baby in the car. Had that not been the case, I would have gone inside to address the issue directly. I am truly disappointed by the level of customer service I experienced at this Michaels location. I hope Michaels will review this incident and provide additional coaching and training regarding customer interactions, particularly during stressful situations when employees may be feeling overwhelmed. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

    So happy I found a Home Goods by my son's house that carries all my home essentials!…read more I recently joined a wine club at a local bar where one of the membership perks is a free bottle of wine every month. Since we have two members within our household, that's two bottles a month! I decided to host my own wine tasting at home with those wine and Home Goods in city of Orange definitely made my life much easier by carrying all kinds of beautiful drink ware and home decor for me to entertain my guests. The prices at Home Goods are always great to begin with, and since tax is lower in Orange County than in LA County, I save even MORE money when I shop here. The cashiers here were very efficient and the lady helping me took her time wrapping all my ceramic plates and wine glasses. They also have REALLY cute reusable bags there, which is a HUGE plus for me because I collect all their bags! I can't wait to come back here the next time I am in the area.

By the time I stopped at the Orange location, I was honestly exhausted. Diana at the register went out of her way to help me and even called the Huntington Beach store to check their inventory for me. It took a while, but she was patient, kind, and genuinely willing to help. Her customer service was absolutely five stars. The store itself, though, was pretty crowded and a bit disorganized during my visit, which made shopping more stressful than it needed to be. Overall, I'd give the store four stars because Diana's kindness and effort really made a difference.
