Dry Sliced Beef Noodle
Lisa Z.

I'm a sauce connoisseur and when I heard about this spot having some dangerously addicting and flavorful sauce, I knew I had to try it. Initially I thought, how good can it be? When I tried it, the flavors and everything really blew my mind. It's tangy, garlicy, and fresh. Comes with spicy chicharrones as a topping. Highly recommend the Sliced Beef Noodles (Dry)! 11.28.2025 | Thursday @2:26pm

Ambiance: quick grab and go spot Service: nice Food: Known for their Shredded Chicken Dry Noodles ($12.95) and I can see why It's shredded chicken served on top of thin vermicelli noodles and topped with spicy chicharron. Their sauce is light, but flavorful and coats every piece. A MUST! This is on the lighter side. If you want something more filling, I'd recommend their new Signature Green Curry Short Ribs ($20.95)- slow braised, fall off the bone short rib over jasmine rice! Served with a green curry made from coconut milk, green chilies, kaffir lime, and basil. Very hearty, portion size is good and can't beat that price in SF! For something filling, but mid range in price, I'd go for their Hatyai Crispy Chicken Rice($14.45) or Grilled BBQ Pork Rice ($14.45). The chicken is crispy and the pork is tender, both paired with their house smoky chili jaew sauce (has Thai chilies, cilantro, fish sauce, lime juice) and a sweet chili sauc If you can't handle spicy or want a creamy sauce, they offer 3 types of mayo (masaman curry, tom yum, and grilled pepper).

I haven't had such good noodle dishes like this in a long time. I would say i'm team chicken at the moment but their beef one is so soft and savory, I truly enjoyed my experience here. Price is affordable and portion is huge, keep me full for almost a whole day! Staff is really friendly and attentive during my visit. He brought the food out and gave us a brief explanation of each dish. I got fried tofu for appetizer, it was crunchy on the outside, soft inside, came with a lot of spicy fried shallot and i can taste a little bit of dried chilly flakes and lemongrass. Chicken noodle packed with shredded chicken and their vinegar white sauce goes so well with it!! Beef noodle is a little more savory and their beef was soft and tender, i dont know how they make the beef taste so good like that, the green sauce came with it was spicy and have a nice kick with it. Each dishes came with the a small bag of spicy chicharron bits to enhance the flavors even more, love it so much!! Thai tea also good, the server also gave me a cup of ice together with it! Store is pretty small, so it would be better if you order for to go but i decided to dine in and they have a few high chairs that could fit up to 4 people! From the outside, their store sign said What the cluck(?) but the decal in the front windows is HolyShred, it was a little bit confusing lol. Overall i love my first time experience with HolyShred, will comeback to try more items, I saw pad thai and fried chicken with rice on the tablet and those will be my next targets for future visit!!

Ordered the chicken noodle for delivery. Large portions at a great price and very tasty! Lots of flavor for a relatively simple dish. Definitely recommend!

Came on a Friday and service was very quick. Got my order in less than 5 minutes. Tried their shredded chicken noodle and sliced beef noodles. The chicken noodle was on the sweeter side. I prefer the beef one more. Highly recommend if you're nearby!

Just tried this brand-new Thai spot in the heart of the Tenderloin -- Holy Shred -- and wow, what a pleasant surprise! I ordered the shredded chicken noodles, and they absolutely nailed it. The sauce was rich and flavorful with just the right balance of spice and sweetness. The spicy chicharrón on top added an amazing crunch and kick -- something I didn't even know I needed in Thai food until now. I also tried the beef option, and the meat was incredibly tender -- you can tell they take their time prepping it. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. To top it off, their Thai tea was spectacular -- creamy, perfectly sweet, and super refreshing after the spice. It's awesome seeing a spot like this open up in the Tenderloin. Definitely worth checking out before it blows up! Service was quick. Welcoming environment. Must-try: Shredded chicken noodles with spicy chicharrón Don't skip: The Thai tea!

I ordered food delivery from here. It was the first time I came across this place on Uber Eats and I decided to give it a try. I think they're fairly new, so they had a BOGO promo. I had the hatyai crispy chicken rice and shredded chicken noodles, and both were equally delicious. The portion seems good for the price. The chicken was seasoned well and tender, side salad was fresh, rice was fluffy, and vermicelli had a good bite. They also provided crispy chicharron to go with the dishes, which took it to the next level. I appreciate the quality of these Thai street food. The spice level of the dishes were fairly mild for me (an asian), but for those who can't handle spicy food, they have the sauces set aside in separate cups. I feel the sauce with the chili seeds that goes with the side salad of the hatyai crispy chicken rice was spicier (enough to decongest, but not break out in a sweat) than the sweet chili sauce (which is only a tad bit spicy).

Thai tea and Pork grinds

Went on Sunday afternoon (1pm or so), no wait. Ordered the main 2 items + drink -sliced beef noodle dry -shredded chicken noodle dry -thai tea Looks plain but worth trying as it is anything but plain. Thinner vermicelli noodle and is cooked perfectly. Has a nice bouncy texture so it did not break apart even after warming it up for a few seconds as recommended. Fried pork bits are a good addition for different texture. For sensitive teeth, be warned, some pieces were hard to chew. Chicken dry noodle -Subtle similar taste to vietnamese vermicelli. But not entirely. Chicken seems to be dark meat so not dry AT ALL. Very refreshing and flavorful. But it did get a little sweeter the more i ate it. But this is very delicious and a must try. Taste very refreshing and would get this again. Beef dish is savory and spicy. Has a subtle soy sauce flavor from the noodles so this is much more savory and salty conpared to the chicken dish. If you want more salty, spicy, herby flavor, get this. Meat has nice soft texture and was not tough at all. Thai tea - won't recommend. Taste too sweet from condensed milk and cannot taste the tea. Didn't taste refreshing and I wouldn't get this again :(

Wow really???? For a thai iced tea!!! $6!!!!! I can buy a large boba for $6!!!! This is a ripped off!!! Wow!!!!!!

my new favorite thai street food spot in sf! they are new and trying out different menu items. i love the beef short rib green curry, it was so tender and fell right off the bone. the flavor was incredible and decent portion size for the price too. i also love the crispy chicken with noodles, but you can't go wrong with any item here!

The food was good, but there were a few things that kept it from being a 5-star experience. I ordered the Pad See Ew, and while the flavor was tasty, it was noticeably salty to the point where I ended up drinking about four cups of water afterward. The portions also felt somewhat small for the price. For example, the crispy calamari was $14.50 and came with only around 4-6 pieces, which felt a little underwhelming. Service was probably a 3/5 for me and my family. When we were ordering, the server's tone came across as a bit hostile, and we felt rushed both while ordering and eating. That said, the food still had good flavor and I can see why people enjoy this place. The ambiance definitely added to the experience, and with slightly better portion sizes and a more welcoming service experience, this spot could easily be even better.

I only knocked the restaurant down by a star because the servers were pretty pushy with wanting us to leave despite the multitude of empty tables around us. Besides that, the food is really delicious. The papaya salad is amazing if you like spice! There was a great kick and acidity to the papaya salad distributed throughout the fresh vegetables in the dish. I highly recommend! The pumpkin fries were also a great choice: crispy fry with soft pumpkin inside, maintaining the overall pumpkin flavor profile. The sauce they provide on the side (sweet and sour plum sauce), cut through the fry but didn't overwhelm the pumpkin itself. For myself, I got the yellow curry with chicken. The curry dishes do not come with rice, so you will have to order that on the side. The curry is not only a generous portion, but FULL of ingredients. They do not skimp on the meat, potatoes, etc. Highly recommend trying Farmhouse Kitchen for some flavorful Thai dishes!

Fatty pork belly goes very well with the lighter vegetables. The service was very good. The workers were very nice. The inside was cool with a modern design. Both are rum-based and had a really nice kick, especially the Soi Ari with the pandan in the aftertaste (which we found super refreshing). Food we ordered were the Nam Tok Beans, the Pad Khee Mao, and the rabbit curry. Both of us love spice so the Nam Tok Beans blew us away! Did not expect that kind of packed flavor at all but it makes a seemingly ordinary bean dish so much more exciting. The noodles were cooked perfectly and made a great in between to the rabbit curry. Which speaking of, oh my god??? SUPER tender and fall off-the-bone. Rabbit can be a hard dish to put on for people who have never tried it, but I really appreciate that it's not as bone-y as other rabbit dishes I've had in the past. It really was like chicken but softer. Wow wow wow. Huge shoutout to our bartender for giving us extra birthday shots on the house. Never had Amaro before tonight but it was delicious. Did not get his name unfortunately but he's fantastic! The reason I give 4 stars despite the great experience was because I noticed less urgency from the host and the servers in terms of getting stuff out. Doesn't help that the place is smaller and more expensive for a Michelin star establishment. Sitting by the bar made a huge difference for us since we had a great experience with our bartender, but I have a feeling that those at regular tables that night might've lost patience with the wait times for certain dishes. TLDR: if you love spicy Thai food, have the money to spend, and aren't in a rush, this place is worth checking out.
