Great small business to support: feel like stepping into a family dinner. People seem to know each other. The food was superb and reasonably priced with big portions. The roasted chicken was perfect, with the Greek salad. Hreat service as well. Hope to come back and try more!

The food is delicious. No frills, just authentic, good food, made fresh. I was craving Greek food for weeks, had visited a "hot spot" last week, and it was soooo BAD. Maria's is GREAT for Greek!!! We will be back.

I order Maria's at least a few times a month. The craving is STRONG! My go-to is their delicious VILLAGE SALAD with an added CHICKEN KEBOB. Amazing! Comes with fluffy, fresh pita & fantastic tzatziki. The chicken is always super flavorful & moist; perfectly cooked on the grill & the salad itself is super fresh & a true Greek salad (not to be confused with the GREEK SALAD on their menu) & is all tomatoes, green peppers, cucumber, red onion & black olives (no lettuce) with a delicious vinaigrette. The perfect meal. *Chef's Kiss*

This was my second visit to Maria's - good Greek food that is a hidden gem. Large portions - the appetizer was large with Portosole is outstanding upscale Italian restaurant in Coral Gables, with a large dining room and excellent service, and a nice varied menu. Four of us shared the crispy light calamari and the superb eggplant parmigiana - it may be one of the best eggplant dishes I have had in a long time. I asked our server what cheeses were in it because it had such a unique and wonderful taste, but he said only mozzarella and Parmesan. We all had pasta - all homemade and delicious - pasta with pesto, paste with clams, pasta with zucchini and meat-filled raviolis. And for dessert we split a creamy lemon tart and a sinfully good pistachio cake served with pistachio ice cream. If you like Italian food, Portosole should be on your list. A wonderful dinner.

Excellent spot for an authentic Greek meal. This place has been around forever me continues to deliver a great meal. I had the gyro platter. It includes a nice salad with olives and shredded feta, French fries right from the frier. Some tisiki and excellent gyro meat. The chicken kabob has all the same stuff as the gyro but with perfectly cooked chicken. For a place to survive this long they have a to be doing something right. What might that be ?pretty much everything. Great service food and ambiance

This place never disappoints! I had the best chicken of my life tonight. It was so big I had to take half of it home, and I'm not kidding when I say half! You get a really great portion of food for the price, and everyone is always so kind when we go there. 10/10 one of the best hidden gems in Miami!

Maria's is the definition of excellence as my favorite Greek restaurant in Miami. If you don't know about Maria's, then you have come to the right place to read about it. Everything is delicious. Had not been in a while, but food was as perfect as I remember. Shish Kabob - A+ Branzino (fillet) - A++ Grilled Octopus - A+++ For sides we shared greek salad and roasted potatoes which was plenty. Gorgeous salad with a perfectly balanced dressing to feta ratio. PS: Don't forget to have a Mythos. It is tradition! Service is and has always been amazing. Everyone kind, friendly, and polite. Thank you all!!

This restaurant has been here for many many years. Friendly staff, there is a sign at the entrance.... "Orders may take longer due to short staffing".... understandable Ordered an an appetizer with several spreads: hummus, babaganoush and taramosalata. Spreads were a bit on the chunky side, maybe that's the reason it's spreadable??? Also got the special of the day, they do have a different item every day, it was stuffed tomato and pepper served with potatoes. And a Gyro platter, it came with lamb, greek salad and french fries. The french fries were a bit sad... they needed a bit more frying in order to get a better color and taste. There is a weird smell in the restaurant.

The moment we walked in, we were transported right back to Greece. The décor is beautiful and authentic without feeling forced. Every detail adds to the charm of the space. We decided to keep things light and ordered the zucchini chips along with a special appetizer featuring whipped feta, roasted eggplant, arugula, and pistachios. Both dishes were excellent. The whipped feta dish was bright, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the zucchini chips were perfectly cooked they were light, crisp, and addictive. My daughter ordered the non-alcoholic dragon fruit "martini" and absolutely loved it. It was tropical, refreshing, and felt like a special treat. I went with the white sangria. It tasted a little more watered down than I expected, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable on a warm Miami afternoon. The service was excellent throughout our visit, and the atmosphere alone makes this place worth a stop. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive staff, Mandolin is a place I'll happily return to the next time I'm in Miami.

Seating is mostly outdoors and beautifully decorated, definitely a nice selection for an intimate event. Service was wonderful! The spanakopita was nicely flaky, the spinach filling wasn't overly bitter or pungent (my boyfriend is not a fan of strong feta flavors and enjoyed this while I am a feta enthusiast, we felt that this was right in the middle of our demands which worked great). We both love moussaka which is what my boyfriend ended up getting, dare we say it was our favorite moussaka out of any Greek restaurant in America thus far (coming from New Yorkers frequently visiting Astoria). It was broiled to perfection to give the cheese/béchamel layer a light crunch at the top and maintaining that richness underneath. The eggplant and ground meat were well seasoned. I really enjoyed my stuffed peppers as well (rice pilaf, ground beef, and feta on top), the tomato broth/sauce gave a nice sweet and savory flavor with the meal. Finally, a superb pistachio baklava, 10/10. Super impressed with what Miami had to offer for Mediterranean.

Even after paying, the staff continued to make sure we had water and asked if we needed anything else. This small gesture meant a lot. Sufrat has a great happy hour menu that ends at 6 PM. I tried the Moroccan Mojito, which was so refreshing. To eat, we tried the Shawarma Sushi and $1 chicken wing. The Shawarma Sushi name can be a bit misleading. It a wrap that was cut in form of sushi. It was good. I was hesitant about ordering chicken wings but I'm so glad we did because they were so delicious and crispy. They may have been the best chicken wing I've had. The service was excellent. I accidentally dropped my cocktail and they immediately cleaned it up and moved us to another clean table. I apologized for dropping it but not once did they made me feel bad about it. Instead, one of the staff stated it was an indication of having a great time. They also replaced my drink at no extra cost. A guy, who I assumed was the manager or owner, also passed by our table and ensured we were enjoying our time. Our server mistakenly brought me the wrong drink that I ordered, but I did not mind it because I actually loved the Moroccan Mojito and instead ordered another one. I also loved how they have copper cups because it makes water taste so much better. Their attention to small details like that makes the difference. Overall, I felt so welcomed and definitely have to return for more chicken wings.

We ordered the beef kabobs, which were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the ribeye steak was a major disappointment. We ordered it medium well, but it came out extremely overcooked, dry, and tough, with hard charred pieces on the outside. It was clear that steak is probably not their specialty. That said, we would still recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere, service, and many of the other menu items -- just skip the steaks.

For context, I worked in fine dining in New York and Miami for almost 20 years, so I notice the details immediately, hospitality, management presence, the energy of a room. You can usually tell pretty quickly what kind of operation you're dealing with. We were a party of five. I arrived with my four-year-old son and was greeted warmly by the hostess. That warmth ended instantly. Standing directly behind her were two managers in suits blocking the main entrance. Both looked straight at me and my child and said absolutely nothing. No hello, no smile, no acknowledgment. Anyone in hospitality knows that moment sets the tone. As an Arab woman who grew up around a culture where hospitality is everything, it was already a bad sign. We were seated outside and the vibe stayed cold. Unfortunately, the food matched it. We ordered a lot because I genuinely wanted to give the kitchen a fair shot. I grew up eating Lebanese food and what stood out most was the lack of soul. Everything felt flat, like it needed salt, lemon, brightness, that warm Mediterranean seasoning Lebanese food is known for. The tabouli was especially shocking. A $20+ tabouli with no bulgur that was so roughly chopped it was basically whole parsley leaves and slices of onion. Any Lebanese auntie would die at the sight of it. At one point I asked our server if they had harissa or any kind of spicy sauce. She said the only option was Sriracha. In a Lebanese restaurant that charges $18 for a tablespoon of hummus. An Asian chili sauce as the only option. What made it even stranger is that harissa is listed on multiple dishes on the menu, so it clearly exists somewhere in the building. I asked for the Sriracha anyway out of desperation for flavor. It never came. Same with ketchup for my toddler's fries, it took three requests. Throughout the meal I walked around the restaurant several times taking my son to the bathroom, looking around the space, even going upstairs to the lounge. Not a single person acknowledged us. Not a host, not a server, not a manager. The bar is right by the entrance and every time we looked over at the bartender and bar manager, just blank stares. At one point we were clearly standing there confused looking for the bathroom in an empty restaurant and still had to say "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?" Wild. Later I walked up to the bar myself to ask if they carried mezcal. After dinner I went back to order one. Same energy--zero warmth, zero engagement. And this is with an automatic 20% gratuity already on the bill. The mezcal was a $25 two-ounce pour and I still had to ask for an orange slice garnish because no one offered it. Empty bar, two people behind it, and I still had to request it. Also worth noting, our reservation was at 5:45pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Yet I didn't see a single manager walking the floor, greeting tables, or checking on guests. I had talked this place up to my party because I'd been so curious about it for years, and it was honestly a huge letdown. If you know Lebanese food and understand Middle Eastern warmth and hospitality, this probably isn't the place for you. Expect cold, almost nonexistent hospitality and food that feels stripped of the soul that makes Lebanese cuisine special. The space is beautiful. I'll give them that. Everything else felt like a very on-brand Miami disappointment, what happens when you give people a beautiful restaurant, expensive food, automatic gratuity, and no leadership. From the lack of authenticity and attention to detail, it's hard to believe anyone truly Lebanese is behind this operation. If anything, it feels more like a polished money grab. Honestly, it might have been less jarring if they just called themselves "Mediterranean" like so many other places in this city. But if you're going to call yourself a Lebanese restaurant, the culture and hospitality should actually be there.
