I was met by the manager/owner(?) who paged an employee to assist me in selecting the proper length and width of the bolts and nuts. Matt examined the broken piece and selected a proper replacement bolt for each of the broken pieces. I thought that I would be spending my afternoon with pliers and a wrench. But to my surprise, Matt attached the bolts and tightened the nuts. I definitely recommend Richmond Hardware for their courteous employees and expert service. Thank you.

Lol, not gonna lie, I have never done this on my own before and I had no idea it was that fast + easy! There's key copying machines, which you're allowed to do yourself but I found that the options were a bit limited. Not only did he explain the types of smoke alarms I was looking at, but he helped me to figure out the cost of buying in bulk or buying single units! He calculated the cost on his phone and helped me to decide by choosing the ones with an adapter for our wired system, so I could avoid having to hire an electrician! I like to do projects myself so this was extremely helpful! I shop at Lowe's often and I have a Lowe's card so I get 5% off of my purchase. Lowe's has lower prices from my viewpoint. I am lucky to live close by!
