California scramble with a sub of fruit.

We visited this Honey Jam location for the first time mid-morning on a Wednesday. It was not too busy. Our drinks were brought promptly. Our server was personable and efficient with the order. However, he was not around to refill drinks and bring the check in a timely fashion. Our food came out quickly. All 3 of our orders needed to be returned to the kitchen as they were incorrect. They were corrected right away. The food was good once we received the correct food. The restaurant appeared fairly clean, and the noise level was acceptable for conversation. I would offer the following suggestion to the food runner- check the food and tickets carefully before bringing the food out. With all of the great brunch places around, I probably would not rush back here.

    Breakfast Burrito

Highly recommend breakfast burrito. I had chorizo and egg with taters on the side. Was delivered home without a problem.

I made a deal with my kids: if they were good at the dentist's office, I'd bring them out to breakfast in the community. We all love breakfast! It was our first time at Honey Jam (formerly Butterfield's; I submitted a change request, but supposedly it didn't seem legit to Yelp Staff??) Unfortunately, even though we arrived very early and there were only a few other patrons, service was so poor. It was me and my two toddlers (almost 4 and 5.5). I asked for extra napkins. Our server was stingy on them, even after my request, bringing out TWO. TWO extra napkins. Seriously?! The kids each ordered M&M pancake meals, which were OK. I ordered a skillet and a side of sausage links. Unfortunately, the sausages were all charred. Service continued to be really spotty. The floor could use a good sweep, and the bathrooms could have been more thoroughly cleaned. I think we'll be finding another breakfast spot when the next occasion arises.

This was the old Butterfields breakfast spot! First time here since they changed! Menu was impressive. I had a Bloody Mary, gluten free pancakes, some eggs, hash browns and bacon! My dad loves this place. Service was great. Place looks great too!

The host was very accommodating and made sure we were seated where we wanted. I ordered the Pitmaster with truffle fries, and both were easily a 10/10. The mac and cheese was a great side, and the fried pickles were the perfect addition to the meal. As someone who gets full pretty quickly, I ended up sharing my burger and fries, and there was still plenty to enjoy. It wasn't very busy when we first arrived, but the restaurant gradually filled up and became quite packed as the evening went on. Overall, a great experience with delicious food and a lively atmosphere!

Cauliflower app was good but you didn't get very much of it for what it costs. Chili was good. I ordered a salad and steak that was just average to me for $26. It was very expensive for something that just didn't have the quality expected. Maybe I shouldn't have had a salad at a spot where burgers are the specialty but why have it on the menu then. Cocktail was decent - had the Pinhook old fashioned. Bill was $100 for two kids meals, two apps, salad, adult burger entree and one cocktail. Server was really nice.

Surprisingly - after talking about the heat - my husband and I both started with the Chili Verde - w/ braised pork & hominy. It was outstanding. A lot of pork, spices and hominy in the dish. There was definitely a kick and I felt it was the highlight of our evening - in terms of food. For drinks - we got the Patio Pounder and Declaration of Independence cocktails - both pretty good. For burgers - we got the Elotes and the Four Pepper w/ the side salads with dill + mustard vinaigrette. Their salad dressing was quite good and next time (if there is one) I would get their salads - just to try more of the dressings. I say this b/c the burgers were just okay. On paper they sounded much better. I ordered mine medium - and it was definitely more well done. And while we love pretzel roll buns - it was too much bread/bun to the ratio of ingredients. It was impossible to eat w/o a fork and knife. Which you think might not be bad, but it felt like too much. And having the burger too done sort of ruined it. However - if ever in the area - I would stop for the chili and the salad dressings.

Disclaimers: - No…read morethe inside isn't the biggest. I was a bit hesitant about that before going as well. - Yes it's really only a burger joint. They have different appetizers and things but not a super extensive menu Do not let these things deter you tho. They're just facts. This place was pretty delicious. Mac n cheese was (I think) the best I've had from a restaurant in a while. I love the type of fries that they pair with the burgers, they were fresh & not too salty. Our burgers were also very good. Apparently they have a new burger/dessert of the week each week so those items do change. They looked like they'd have good drinks too, I'd definitely come back to try. It can be a bummer that it's not a place where you can eat, drink, then hangout a bit so don't expect to be allowed to sit for too long. Service was also very nice

Today we ordered a maple bacon milkshake, peanut butter milkshake, 1/4 pound grilled cheese burger on toast, 1/2 pound New Orleans burger and a shareable basket of parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the positives, the shakes were well made and not overwhelmingly sweet and we liked that a lot. My husband's 1/2 pound burger seemed a little small and my grilled cheese burger said it would be on Texas toast but it seemed like it was sourdough bread and not really thick cut like Texas toast should be. I was looking forward to eating here because the pictures of the fries online looked long and thick cut, the basket of fries we got didn't look like that at all and lacked Parmesan cheese. The negative experience was the fact the water tasted weird. I took one sip and tasted a weird chemical taste but my husband and I didn't complain, we just paid and left. I don't know if it was the water or the cup but it definitely had a weird taste. Overall, the experience was ok. I think we had higher expectations seeing all the pictures online. The name of the place threw us both off because we thought it was a Latino owned burger joint with a Mexican twist but that wasn't the case at all.
